Lamont School of Music is the school of arts of the University of Denver, based in city of Denver, United States. In 1941, the school merged with the University of Denver.

The Chester M Alter Arboretum is an arboretum located on the campus of the University of Denver, 2467 South Vine Street, Denver, Colorado. In 1999 the trees of the University Park campus were named an arboretum to honor Chancellor Emeritus Chester M Alter. The Arboretum comprises about 2,100 trees, including many rare specimens for Colorado. Specimens include: Giant Sequoia (Sequoiadendron giganteum), Dawn Redwood (Metasequoia glyptostroboides),Cedar of Lebanon (Cedrus libani), Bald Cypress (Taxodium distichum), Umbrella Pine (Sciadopitys) and many species of Maples (Acer) and Oaks (Quercus).

Mary Reed Hall is located on the University of Denver campus in Denver, Colorado, United States, southwest of University Hall. It was built in 1932 as a new library to replace the Andrew S. Carnegie library. The building, named after Mary D. Reed, was first used in January 1933. When Penrose Library (which is now Anderson Academic Commons) was built in 1972, the building was decommissioned. The Mary Reed Building now houses administrative offices, including those of the chancellor and provost. The hall's main architectural feature of its central tower has become an iconic image for the university, its likeness appearing on stationery, graduation announcements, class rings, and other memorabilia.

The Evans Memorial Chapel (often simply Evans Chapel) is an historic chapel on the campus of the University of Denver in Colorado. It is the oldest continuously-used building for religious purposes in Denver. Completed in 1878, the Evans Memorial Chapel was built with patronage by John Evans in honor of his daughter Josephine. Evans was governor of the Colorado Territory and a founder of the Colorado Seminary (now the University of Denver). Formerly part of Grace Church, a prominent Methodist Episcopal congregation on 13th Avenue and Bannock in downtown Denver, the small Gothic Revival chapel was moved to the University of Denver's campus in 1959. It reopened there in April 1960, and is now the campus's oldest building. It currently serves as an interdenominational chapel and wedding venue.

Woodstock West is the name University of Denver students gave to the shanty village that they built while protesting the school's decision to stay open after the Kent State shootings.

The Daniels College of Business is the business college of the University of Denver,a private research university in Denver, Colorado. It was founded in 1908 and is the eighth oldest business school in the United States. Daniels currently enrolls approximately 2 300 students, divided between graduate, undergraduate programs, and dual undergraduate/graduate programs.

The Josef Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver is a professional school of international affairs offering undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degrees. It is named in honor of the founding dean, Josef Korbel, father of former U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright. The Josef Korbel School is located on the University of Denver’s main campus in Denver’s University Hill neighborhood. The school currently educates more than 700 students with nearly 70 full- and part-time faculty members. It is also home to 10 academic research centers and institutes. Frederick “Fritz” Mayer has been dean of the school since 2019.In 2018, the school's master's programs were ranked 14th in the world by Foreign Policy magazine. The Josef Korbel School is a full member of the Association of Professional Schools of International Affairs (APSIA).

The University of Denver (DU) is a private research university in Denver, Colorado. Founded in 1864, it is the oldest independent private university in the Rocky Mountain Region of the United States. It is classified among "R1: Doctoral Universities – very high research activity". DU enrolls approximately 5,700 undergraduate students and 7,200 graduate students. The 125-acre (0.51 km2) main campus is a designated arboretum and is located primarily in the University Neighborhood, about five miles (8 km) south of downtown Denver. The 720-acre Kennedy Mountain Campus is located approximately 110 miles northwest of Denver, in Larimer County.

South Denver was an incorporated city in Colorado incorporated in 1886 and annexed by Denver in 1894. Covering almost 12 square miles that included the former site of Montana City, the South Denver community was established by James Fleming in 1881 as an alcohol-free community. Potato farmer Rufus "Potato" Clark led a group which donated land to allow the University of Denver to relocate to the area and escape the "moral and environmental pollution" of Denver. Incorporated as a town to enable the community to enforce vice laws, its anti-alcohol regulations surviving the city's dissolution. John Evans, the former Colorado governor, contributed to the community's development by fostering the establishment of the two Methodist-organized subdivisions of University Park Colony and Evanston. Under duress from the 1893 Silver Panic, South Denver became one of many communities absorbed by Denver during the 1890s. Portions of the townsite now comprises the Denver neighborhoods of University and University Park.

The Graduate School of Social Work at the University of Denver (GSSW), is the oldest graduate school of social work in the Rocky Mountain Region. Founded in 1931, GSSW is currently ranked 11th by U.S. News & World Report GSSW enrolls approximately 425 students in the Master of Social Work degree program and approximately 30 students in its doctor of social work program. The program is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE), a specialized accrediting body recognized by the Council on Post-Secondary Accreditation. The accreditation has been continuous since 1933. Students can earn their online Master's of Social Work degree in as little as 18 months.
