Warsaw Old Town (Polish: Stare Miasto and colloquially as Starówka) is the oldest part of Warsaw, the capital city of Poland. It is bounded by the Wybrzeże Gdańskie (Gdańsk Boulevards), along with the bank of the Vistula river, Grodzka, Mostowa and Podwale Streets. It is one of the most prominent tourist attractions in Warsaw. The heart of the area is the Old Town Market Place, rich in restaurants, cafés and shops. Surrounding streets feature medieval architecture such as the city walls, St. John's Cathedral and the Barbican which links the Old Town with Warsaw New Town.

The Warsaw Zoological Garden, known simply as the Warsaw Zoo (Polish: Miejski Ogród Zoologiczny w Warszawie), is a scientific zoo located alongside the Vistula River in Warsaw, Poland. The zoo covers about 40 hectares (99 acres) in central Warsaw, and sees around 1,000,000 visitors annually, making it one of the busiest zoos in Europe. It is home to over 11,000 animals representing more than 500 species.The zoo is an accredited member of the European Association of Zoos and Aquaria (EAZA) and the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA).The Warsaw Zoo served as a hiding spot for Jews and escapees from the Warsaw Ghetto during World War II. Zookeepers Jan and Antonina Żabiński, responsible for saving hundreds of Jews within the zoo premises, were eventually granted the title of Righteous Among the Nations for their contribution, effort and good will. These events were documented in the novel The Zookeeper's Wife by Diane Ackerman and in the 2017 war drama film starring Jessica Chastain.

Wszechnica Polska University in Warsaw (Wszechnica Polska Szkoła Wyższa w Warszawie, formerly Wszechnica Polska – Szkoła Wyższa Towarzystwa Wiedzy Powszechnej) is a private university located in Warsaw, Poland.

Kozminski University (formerly known as Leon Kozminski Academy of Entrepreneurship and Management; in Polish, Akademia Leona Koźmińskiego) is a private, non profit business school in Warsaw, Poland, and is considered to be "Poland’s highest rated private university". It was established in 1993 and named after Leon Koźmiński, a Polish professor of economics and entrepreneurship, and also the father of Andrzej Koźmiński, the founder and the first rector of the school. It is one of the top business schools in the world, contains the Central Eastern campus of ESCP as of 2015, and the only institution of higher education in Poland, holding the "triple crown accreditation (EQUIS, AMBA, AACSB)". Less than 1% of business education providers worldwide hold these three major international quality accreditations. The Financial Times named the university as the best business school in Poland and Central Europe. Kozminski University has obtained the right to confer the degree of doctor in five areas: management, economics, law, finance and sociology, as well as the right to confer the degree of habilitated doctor in the areas of management, economics and law. The university has a distinction of the Polish Accreditation Commission for four faculties: management, finance and accounting, law and administration. There are over 8000 students at Kozminski University. It offers bachelor's and master's degrees, a doctoral school, as well as post-graduate studies, including MBA programmes, in Polish and English. It also offers training and courses, and development programmes for companies. The university is fully prepared to conduct classes also in the remote mode.

The Gdański Bridge (Polish: Most Gdański) is a six-span steel truss bridge, 406.5 m long and 17 m wide, across the Vistula in Warsaw, Poland. It opened on 31 July 1959 after three years of construction. It has two decks: the upper deck carries a four-lane road with sidewalks, while the lower one has two tram tracks, a cycle lane and a footpath. The bridge was built upon the supports of the Citadel Rail Bridge which had been destroyed during World War II. In 1997-1998 the bridge underwent reconstruction. It was painted green and the lower level was fitted with colour bulbs for illumination at night.

The Citadel Rail Bridge (Most przy Cytadeli) was a bridge in Warsaw, crossing the Vistula River. It opened in November, 1875, and was expanded with a second part in 1908. It was blown up for the final time in 1944 and was later replaced with the Gdański Bridge.

Praga-Północ (from Polish: North Prague) is a district in Warsaw located in the central part of the city.

The Sigismund Augustus Bridge was a wooden bridge over the Vistula River in Warsaw which came into operation in 1573 and lasted for 30 years. It was the first permanent crossing over the Vistula River in Warsaw and the longest wooden crossing in Europe at the time at 500 meters in length. The bridge was one of the greatest engineering works of the Polish Renaissance and one of the largest in Europe.

The Church of Our Lady of Loreto (Polish: Kościół Matki Bożej Loretańskiej) is an ornate church in Praga, a district of Warsaw, Poland, on the east bank of the Vistula River. The church stands on Ratuszowa (City Hall) Street and is Praga’s oldest monument. What may be seen today is a former chapel that on its south side was once attached to a baroque church and a Bernardine (Minor Friars) monastery.

The Maria Skłodowska-Curie Monument (Polish: Pomnik Marii Skłodowskiej-Curie) is a bronze statue in Warsaw, Poland, located within New Town neighbourhood of Downtown district. It is dedicated to Maria Skłodowska-Curie, a 19th- and 20th-century physicist and chemist who conducted pioneering research on radioactivity, who was the first woman to win a Nobel Prize, and the first person to win a Nobel Prize twice. The statue was designed by Bronisław Krzysztof, and unveiled on 4 June 2014. It is placed near the intersection of Kościelna and Piesza Streets, in front of Church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary at 2 Przyrynek Street, and near the tenement at 16 Freta Street, where Skłodowska-Curie was born and grew up in.

Samborska Street (ulica Samborska) is the shortest street in Warsaw and possibly in Poland. Approximately 22 metres (72 ft) long, it is located in Warsaw's New Town, just off Przyrynek Street near the Polish Security Printing Works building. It was laid out in 1770 or 1771. Its name comes from the Polish family name Samborski, who were Warsaw residents and, at the time, owners of the surrounding land. No buildings are assigned to the street. For many years it was almost invisible, overgrown and closed. In 2010 it was renovated and opened to pedestrians, becoming one of the minor attractions of New Town.

The Church of the Visitation of the Most Blessed Virgin Mary (Polish: Kościół Nawiedzenia Najświętszej Marii Panny), otherwise known as St. Mary's Church (Kościół Mariacki) is a church in Warsaw, Poland. It is one of oldest buildings and one of the few surviving examples of Gothic architecture in the city. It is located at ulica Przyrynek 2.
