Bundesautobahn 544 (translates from German as Federal Motorway 544, short form Autobahn 544, abbreviated as BAB 544 or A 544) is a motorway in the city of Aachen in western Germany.

The Ludwig Forum for International Art is a museum for modern art in Aachen. It is based on the Ludwig Collection, which was brought together by the Aachen collector couple Irene and Peter Ludwig, and is supported by the Peter and Irene Ludwig Foundation.

Rothe Erde is a district of Aachen, Germany with large-scale development in heavy industry. It is sub-district 34 of the Aachen-Mitte Stadtbezirk (which is roughly equivalent to a city borough). It lies between the districts of Forst and Eilendorf.

Soers is a community within Aachen and part of the district of Aachen-Laurensberg. The predominantly rural district today stretches from the border of Aachen-Mitte, the central district of Aachen, past the slopes of the Lousberg, a hill in the north of the city. It is a wetland that is drained by several rivers. The Wurm drains at out of the area's north end, and is the only drain of the Rur River in the Aachen Basin. Soers is known mainly as a result of the Old Tivoli, the former football stadium of Alemannia Aachen. The area's largely undeveloped nature and its easy access to the A4 motorway has caused the community to become further developed in recent years. The police headquarters of Aachen were constructed there, as well as the Aachen Prison and Aachen's tax office.

The Hauptstadion is a stadium located in Sport Park Soers in Aachen, Germany. It is used for equestrian and show jumping. It was renovated in 2005 and has a capacity of 40,000 spectators. It hosted the 2006 FEI World Equestrian Games. In July 1970, it was the location of the Aachen Open Air Pop Festival.

The Old Tivoli in Aachen, Germany, was the stadium of Aachen's best known football team Alemannia Aachen until 2009.

Tivoli is a football stadium in the Sport Park Soers in Aachen, Germany, that opened on 17 August 2009 replacing the Old Tivoli nearby. It hosts the home matches of Alemannia Aachen in the Regionalliga West. The stadium has a capacity of 31,026 spectators – space for 11,681 standing spectators and 19,345 seats. The (all-)seating capacity for international games is set at 27,250. The city first suggested the new stadium should be built outside the city, near the local airport. However, fans wanted the stadium built within the city. After much debate, plans were released in February 2007, showing that the new stadium would be built in Sportpark Soers, the sporting area the previous stadium was in. About €4.2 million of the construction costs were financed by bonds mainly targeted at supporters of Alemannia Aachen.The first match in the new stadium was against the Belgian team Lierse SK, but it was closed for the public. The first Bundesliga-match took place on 17 August 2009 against FC St. Pauli which Aachen lost 0–5, which was the highest home-defeat in Aachen's history.The first international match was on 4 September 2009 when the Germany national under-21 football team played their first match of the 2011 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship qualification against San Marino, which they won 6–0.

Aachen-Rothe Erde station is a station in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia on the Cologne–Aachen high-speed railway. It is located in the eastern Aachen district of Rothe Erde near the districts of Frankenberg, Forst and Ostviertel. It is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 4 station.

Beverbach is a river of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The Beverbach springs south of Aachen. It is a right tributary of the Wurm in Aachen.

The formerly independent municipality of Haaren lies four kilometers north of Aachen, into which it was incorporated in 1972.Haaren lies at the fork of the Wurm, itself a tributary of the Rur, and a smaller stream that shares its name with the community. Two kilometers farther east lies the predominantly rural Verlautenheide community. As of 31 December 2020, the community has 12,482 inhabitants spread over 880 hectares.
