Beeston Regis

Sheringham and Beeston Regis Commons is a 24.9-hectare (62-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Sheringham in Norfolk. It is a Nature Conservation Review site, and part of the Norfolk Valley Fens Special Area of Conservation. and Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.These commons have areas of dry heathland which have several species of breeding birds and reptiles, and wet fen in low-lying areas where there are springs. Calcareous mires have uncommon plants such as butterwort and bog pimpernel.The site is open to the public.

It is a Geological Conservation Review site and it is in the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.This working quarry exposes gravel and sand derived from melting ice at the end of the Anglian glaciation around 425,000 years ago.The site is private land with no public access.

Sheringham (; population 7,367) is a seaside town and civil parish in the county of Norfolk, England. The motto of the town, granted in 1953 to the Sheringham Urban District Council, is Mare Ditat Pinusque Decorat, Latin for "The sea enriches and the pine adorns".

Sheringham railway station is the northern terminus of the Bittern Line in Norfolk, England, serving the town of Sheringham. It is 30 miles 22 chains (30.28 mi; 48.7 km) down the line from Norwich (including the reversal at Cromer). Its three-letter station code is SHM. It was opened by British Rail on 2 January 1967 replacing the original station in Sheringham opened by the Midland and Great Northern Joint Railway, which is located across the road, enabling the closure of the level crossing there. The original station subsequently became the terminus of the North Norfolk Railway heritage line. At the time of opening, the railway itself was listed for closure; the basic timber platform provided was intended to cover only the last months of the line's operation.The station is situated on the southern edge of the town centre, but within walking distance of the beach. It is currently managed by Greater Anglia, which also operates all trains serving it.

Beeston Cliffs is a 10.3-hectare (25-acre) biological and geological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Sheringham in Norfolk. It is a Geological Conservation Review site.This is the type site for the Beestonian stage of the Early Pleistocene, between around 1.8 and 0.8 million years ago. It has both marine and freshwater deposits. There is a nationally rare plant, purple broomrape, in calcareous grassland on the clifftop.There is public access to the site.

The school was located in a former rectory, to which additional facilities have been added. In 2007 the school was visited privately by Chris Woodhead, formerly HM Chief Inspector of Schools, who stated, "I must have visited thousands of schools in my time. Few compare to Wood-Dene. This is a school which cares for each pupil as an individual, fostering academic potential and social development in a wonderfully idiosyncratic environment! My only complaint is that the school is in Norfolk and not Cornwall because I would love my own grandchildren to be pupils."
