Sheringham railway station is the northern terminus of the Bittern Line in Norfolk, England, serving the town of Sheringham. It is 30 miles 22 chains (30.28 mi; 48.7 km) down the line from Norwich (including the reversal at Cromer). Its three-letter station code is SHM. It was opened by British Rail on 2 January 1967 replacing the original station in Sheringham opened by the Midland and Great Northern Joint Railway, which is located across the road, enabling the closure of the level crossing there. The original station subsequently became the terminus of the North Norfolk Railway heritage line. At the time of opening, the railway itself was listed for closure; the basic timber platform provided was intended to cover only the last months of the line's operation.The station is situated on the southern edge of the town centre, but within walking distance of the beach. It is currently managed by Greater Anglia, which also operates all trains serving it.

The structure served as the headquarters of Sheringham Urban District Council and then as the offices and meeting place of Sheringham Town Council until it closed in August 2019.

Sheringham is the name of a preserved railway station in Sheringham, Norfolk. It was once part of the Midland and Great Northern Joint Railway network and closed in 1967 when a new station was opened by British Rail approx. 200m eastwards. Since 1975 it has served as the eastern terminus of the North Norfolk Railway. In March 2010, the link to Network Rail was reinstated.

Sheringham Lifeboat Station is an RNLI operated lifeboat station located in the town of Sheringham in the English county of Norfolk. Since 1992, the station has been inshore operations only - currently with an Atlantic 85 rigid inflatable - offshore lifeboats are to the east at Cromer and the west at Wells-next-the-sea. In its history there have been two Bronze Medals and 1 Silver medal awarded to crew by the RNLI. The current lifeboat station was built in 1936 to replace a smaller older one which was located at the Old Hythe lifeboat house within the town of Sheringham.

Sheringham and Beeston Regis Commons is a 24.9-hectare (62-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Sheringham in Norfolk. It is a Nature Conservation Review site, and part of the Norfolk Valley Fens Special Area of Conservation. and Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.These commons have areas of dry heathland which have several species of breeding birds and reptiles, and wet fen in low-lying areas where there are springs. Calcareous mires have uncommon plants such as butterwort and bog pimpernel.The site is open to the public.

Beeston Cliffs is a 10.3-hectare (25-acre) biological and geological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Sheringham in Norfolk. It is a Geological Conservation Review site.This is the type site for the Beestonian stage of the Early Pleistocene, between around 1.8 and 0.8 million years ago. It has both marine and freshwater deposits. There is a nationally rare plant, purple broomrape, in calcareous grassland on the clifftop.There is public access to the site.

Beeston Regis is a village and civil parish in the North Norfolk district of Norfolk, England. It is about a mile (2 km) east of Sheringham, Norfolk and near the coast. The village is 2 miles (3 km) west of Cromer and 16 miles (26 km) north of the city of Norwich. According to the 2011 census, it had a population of 1,062. There is a frequent bus service on the coast road A149 and a rail service from the nearby stations of Sheringham to the west and West Runton to the east, where the Bittern Line runs a frequent service between Norwich, Cromer and Sheringham. The nearest airport is Norwich International Airport. The North Sea is the northern boundary of the parish, the parish of Runton forms the western boundary, the wooded Beeston Regis Heath forms the southern boundary with the parish of Aylmerton and the parish of Sheringham lies to the west.
