Auburn Riverside High School is located in Auburn, Washington, United States. Located next to the White River, the school takes its name from its location. The school opened in 1995 due to overcrowding at Auburn Senior High School.

The Dieringer School buildings are the last remaining group associated with the Dieringer community. Constructed in 1921 and 1928 by Tacoma architect Emanuel J. Bresemann. As the community of Norwood, established on May 5, 1888, with Joseph C. Dieringer, its first postmaster. Dieringer, had a restaurant in Tacoma, before he moved to the Stuck River Valley in the 1880s. Dr. Charles H. Spinning, had been a physician in the 1860s at the Cushman Indian Agency on the Puyallup Reservation, provided the land for the Dieringer School. In 1892, the post office name was changed from Norwood to Dieringer to honor its first postmaster.

KZIZ (1560 AM) is a commercial radio station licensed to Pacific, Washington and serving the Seattle-Tacoma media market. It carries a South Asian radio format known as "Radio Punjab," with affiliated stations in San Francisco, Sacramento and other West Coast markets. The station is owned by Charanjit Singh Batth, through licensee Akal Media, Inc. By day, KZIZ broadcasts at 5,000 watts non-directional. But at night, because AM 1560 is a clear-channel frequency reserved for Class A stations KNZR Bakersfield, California, and WFME New York City, it reduces power to 900 watts, using a directional antenna. On July 20, 2016 KZIZ was granted a Federal Communications Commission construction permit to increase day power to 10,000 watts, increase night power to 2,500 watts and decrease critical hours power to 2,500 watts. The transmitter is off 24th Street East in Sumner, Washington.

Crow with Fries is a sculpture by Peter Reiquam, installed in Auburn, Washington. The aluminum statue is 12 feet tall and 18 feet long. It was installed at Les Gove Park—the site of a former drive-in burger restaurant—in May 2019.

The Seattle Air Route Traffic Control Center (or ZSE or Seattle Center or Seattle ARTCC) is the area control center responsible for controlling and ensuring proper separation of IFR aircraft in Washington state, most of Oregon, and parts of Idaho, Montana, Nevada, and California, as well as the neighboring area into the Pacific Ocean. The control center is located at 3101 Auburn Way S, Auburn, Washington, which is 11.5 miles (18.5 km) from SeaTac International, the only Class B airport served by the center.

It is anchored by Bed Bath & Beyond, Burlington, Dave & Buster's, LA Fitness, Nordstrom Rack, Old Navy, and FieldhouseUSA. There is one vacant anchor that was once Sports Authority. It was established in August 1995.

KMIA (1210 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a Spanish Christian format. Licensed to Auburn–Federal Way, Washington, United States, it serves the Seattle metropolitan area. The station is currently owned by Amador and Rosalie Bustos, through licensee Bustos Media Holdings, LLC.

The Neely Mansion, is a Victorian-style residence built in 1894. It is located near the eastern edge of Auburn, in unincorporated King County, Washington in the census-designated location Lake Morton-Berrydale, Washington. It is listed in the National Register of Historic Places and the Washington State Heritage Register. From the 1950s to the 1970s the building deteriorated severely, until local citizens moved to save and restore the building. During the initial restoration period, the mansion was used for a haunted house staffed by the drama department of Auburn High School (the only high school in Auburn at the time). That usage ceased when significant progress was made in restoring the mansion to its original condition. The mansion is now owned by a volunteer historical society.
