The Mulvey Mercantile is a two-story, red brick commercial building in Yukon, Oklahoma. It was constructed in 1904 as a dry goods store by the Mulvey brothers, and the firm was the largest retail store in the city until the Great Depression. It operated as a hardware store for many years, and is currently occupied by a home decor business. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

The Yukon Public Library is a brick-and-mortar Colonial Revival structure located in Yukon, Oklahoma. It was the original public library for the city of Yukon, constructed in 1927 for $4,500 raised by the Yukon Ladies Library Club.The club continued to financially support and operate the library until 1979, when the city of Yukon assumed responsibility. A new library was constructed and opened in 1980, and the old library building was used as a utility shed and storage. The Yukon Chamber of Commerce currently occupies the building.It was designed by architects Sorey & Vahlberg of Oklahoma City.

Yukon is a city in eastern Canadian County, Oklahoma, United States. The population was 23,630 at the 2020 census. Founded in the 1890s, the town was named in reference to a gold rush in Yukon Territory, Canada, at the time. Historically, Yukon served as an urban center for area farmers and the site of a milling operation. Currently, it is primarily a residential community for people who work in the Oklahoma City Metropolitan Area.

Lake Overholser is a reservoir within the city limits of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Lake Overholser is formed by Overholser Dam on the North Canadian River in Oklahoma County, Oklahoma. The lake is 2.9 miles (4.7 km) west of Bethany. And 4.4 mile from Yukon. Lake Overholser is named after Ed Overholser who was the 16th Mayor of the City of Oklahoma City.The lake was originally intended to assure an adequate supply of municipal water, since the city depended primarily on the North Canadian River as a source, supplemented by private wells. The need for flood control capability became obvious when the river flooded in 1923. It breached the Lake Overholser Dam, and inundated much of the city.

Yukon, Oklahoma's original Czech Hall was built in 1899 by early Czech settlers who were members of Sokol Karel Havliček Lodge and ZCBJ Lodge Jan Žižka No. 67. That building was rebuilt using the materials from the original building in order to have a larger building in 1925. That structure is standing today. It was originally known as the Bohemian Hall, with its name later changed to Yukon Czech Hall. The Hall (as so many commonly refer to it) was and continues to be the focal point of Czech social and musical functions in Oklahoma. It was, and is, the site of traditional weddings, reunions, and family gatherings. Until 1940, it was also a performance site for Czech plays. The Hall has a museum in one part of the building preserving the history of the Hall, the Czech heritage and arts, and the surrounding community and its Czech-American people. It is best known for its Saturday night Czech dances which have taken place every Saturday night since 1925. Dances are open to the public and to both Czechs and non-Czechs of all ages. The majority of music at the Saturday night dances is Czech polkas, waltzes, and group folk dances. The dances are easy to learn and someone is always ready to help teach a newcomer. The Hall is still operated today by the voluntary efforts of its members (members of Sokol Lodge and Better Life, which is the current name of the former ZCBJ association). The members of Yukon Czech Hall started the Oklahoma Czech Festival and the evening events of the Festival are held at The Hall on the first Saturday of each October. The building is a National and State historic site, having been listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.It is located at 205 N. Czech Hall Road, which is approximately a half mile south of I-40.

SNU Stadium located in Bethany, Oklahoma is the home stadium of the NCAA Division II college football team the Crimson Storm of Southern Nazarene University. SNU played their inaugural season at Taft Stadium in Oklahoma City. SNU Stadium opened on November 3, 2001. The next season SNU installed a press box. During this time SNU was a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics. In 2012, the program moved to NCAA Division II and became a member of the Great American Conference. The stadium is also home to the Bethany High School Bronchos.

Putnam City West High School is a public 9–12 grade school in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. It is part of the Putnam City Public Schools District. The school serves portions of suburban Oklahoma City as well as Bethany and Warr Acres. The school's sports teams are known as the Patriots and they are notable for having been state champions in football in 1981 and runners up in 1976 and 1977. In 2014, the school's basketball program was runner up for the Oklahoma 6A basketball title, losing to Tulsa Union High School in the final. In 2016, Putnam City West's boys' basketball team beat Norman North for the 6A state title.
