The Zimmerman–Rudeen House is a historic house in Portland, Oregon, United States. It was designed by George A. Eastman and was built in 1913. This Prairie School house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1991.

Alameda is a neighborhood in Portland, Oregon, United States that is located on the Alameda Ridge with views of Downtown, the Willamette River, and the Cascades. Northeast Fremont Street is the neighborhood's main east-west thoroughfare and NE 33rd, its main north-south thoroughfare, makes up its eastern boundary. The neighborhood is adjacent to Wilshire Park, a 14.4-acre (58,000 m2) neighborhood park. The community's side streets wind around the hill, past cottages and expansive Craftsman homes. Alameda is located between the business districts of Beaumont Village and the Hollywood District. Locals informally refer to the neighborhood as the Yarn District for its abundance of yarn-based hobbyists. The Alameda neighborhood was established on the 1859 land claim of William C. Bowering and his wife, Isabelle. The area became known as Gravelly Hill Road for a gravel pit at NE 33rd and Fremont. In 1909, the Alameda Land Company laid out the Alameda Park subdivision that was then annexed to the city of Portland. The development advertised an extremely broad exclusion in its printed brochure, declaring "no people of undesirable colors and kinds."The name comes from the Spanish word "alamo," meaning a poplar or cottonwood tree. "Alameda" means, precisely, a public walk or promenade lined with poplar trees, and, by extension, a street lined with trees, like the English word "parkway." Alameda Elementary School of the Portland Public Schools district is located in the neighborhood, as is The Madeleine School, a Catholic K-8 school. There is also an Alameda Street in the neighborhood, which is the subject of the Elliott Smith song "Alameda" on his Either/Or album. However, the Alameda Street that Smith mentions in his song could also be the street of the same name in Los Angeles.

Wilshire Park is a 14.4-acre (5.8 ha) park in northeast Portland, Oregon, United States. The park was acquired in 1940 and is maintained by Portland Parks & Recreation.

The Beaumont-Wilshire ( BOH-mont WIL-shər) neighborhood of Portland, Oregon is located in the city's northeast section, on Alameda Ridge with views of Downtown, the Willamette River, and the Cascades. It is bordered by the Alameda, Concordia, Cully, Rose City Park, and Grant Park neighborhoods. "Beaumont Village", located on NE Fremont Street, from NE 33rd Ave. to NE 50th Ave., is the main commercial district in the neighborhood, but the neighborhood also lies within walking distance of the Hollywood District, a major commercial and shopping area to the south. Beaumont-Wilshire is an older, well established neighborhood. It has a mixture of residential and commercial properties. The Beaumont-Wilshire neighborhood is in actuality two separate neighborhoods separated by NE Fremont Street, with Beaumont to the south and Wilshire to the north. The two neighborhoods agreed to form the Beaumont-Wilshire Neighborhood Association to recognize their common interests, including their common commercial center of Beaumont Village.

The original cafe operates in northeast Portland's Beaumont-Wilshire neighborhood, and a second location is on Hawthorne Boulevard in southeast Portland's Richmond neighborhood. Little Griddle was originally co-owned by Yossel Gyorgak and head chef Judd Harris, and Karen Harding became a co-owner in 2019. The business has garnered a positive reception and was included in lists of the nation's best breakfast and brunch restaurants by Travel + Leisure and Yelp.

The Edward H. and Bertha R. Keller House is a house located in northeast Portland, Oregon, in the United States, listed on the National Register of Historic Places.An early example of the work of Elmer Feig and one of only seven known single-family residences designed by Feig, the house is an English Cottage Revival structure with a steep roof and rolled eaves meant to simulate a thatched roof, punctuated by eyebrow dormer windows. The house is considered the finest example of English Cottage Revival in the Alameda Neighborhood of northeast Portland. Feig estimated construction costs at $23,000.

Grant Park refers to both a neighborhood and public park in the Northeast section of Portland, Oregon. The neighborhood is bordered by Alameda and Beaumont-Wilshire to the north; Rose City Park to the east; Hollywood District, Laurelhurst, and Sullivan's Gulch to the south; and Irvington to the west. It is best known for its association with Beverly Cleary's Klickitat Street series of books, which are set in the neighborhood. Houses in the neighborhood generally date to the early 20th century, and are primarily of the Old Portland or Craftsman styles. There is a park of the same name, which is connected to Grant High School.

The Tannler–Armstrong House is a historic residence in Portland, Oregon, United States. It is a well-preserved and locally distinct example of the English Cottage style. Built in 1924, it was designed during a period when the style was very popular for new homes in Northeast Portland. Between 1920 and 1935, over fifty homes were built in this style in the Northeast quadrant. The house exhibits many of the defining characteristics of the English Cottage style, including rolled eaves to imitate a thatched roof, eyebrow dormers, intersecting roof lines, stucco walls, narrow, paired windows, and arched doorways.The house was entered on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

The William A. Haseltine House is a house located in northeast Portland, Oregon listed on the National Register of Historic Places.It was designed by architect Jamieson Parker.
