The Claiborne Kinnard House is a property in Franklin, Tennessee, United States, that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988. It has also been known as Fairview. It was built c. 1850. A 1988 study of Williamson County historical resources assessed that this house was one of the "best two-story vernacular I-House examples" in the county; the others highly rated were the William King House, the Alpheus Truett House, the Thomas Brown House, the Beverly Toon House, and the Stokely Davis House.

It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) in 1988.The NRHP eligibility of this property and others was covered in a 1988 study of Williamson County historical resources. The house was one of relatively few fine brick residences built in Williamson County, Tennessee, besides in Franklin, that were built from 1865 to 1937. Another one, also in Italianate style, is the Andrew Vaughn House, also NRHP-listed. Both "feature arched fenestration and ornate eaves" and had had few changes since, as of the 1988 study.The house was built or has other significance in c. 1875, c. 1890, and c. 1910.The NRHP listing was for an area of 2.8 acres (1.1 ha) with just one contributing building.

The Boyd–Wilson Farm is a 157-acre (64 ha) historic district in Franklin, Tennessee, United States. The circa 1840 farm includes an I-house.The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996. When listed, it included six contributing buildings, two contributing structures, one contributing site and two non-contributing buildings.The farm's west edge is the West Harpeth River. The property includes the historic Boyd Mill Ruins (separately listed on the National Register).The farmhouse's north, two-story facade was built c.1884 and is of heavy braced frame construction. It has a central hallway and chimneys at its gable ends in what is called an I-house. The chimneys, originally limestone, were modified c.1920 to include brick. It has a two-story portico with four square columns built in 1976 which replaced a one-story portico from c.1884.It was deemed notable as "one of the few historic farms in Williamson County to retain its agricultural integrity from a period in the county's history when agriculture was the basis of prosperity."It is a designated Century Farm. The area has also been known as Benton Town and as Hillsboro.It includes Queen Anne and Bungalow/Craftsman architecture.When listed, the district included 54 contributing buildings and 21 non-contributing buildings. The eligibility of the property for NRHP listing was addressed in a 1988 study of Williamson County historical resources.

Leiper's Fork (also spelled Leipers Fork) is an unincorporated rural village in Williamson County, Tennessee. It has a population of about 650 on an area of about 1,100 acres (450 ha). Most of the village shares a ZIP code with Franklin. The village, located on the Natchez Trace Parkway, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as an historic district.

Boyd Mill Ruins is a property in Franklin, Tennessee that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988. The mill was built in the early 19th century, powered by the West Harpeth River. The mill was used to produce flour and corn mill for area farmers for more than 50 years. It was one of about a dozen water-powered mills in the county in the 19th century. Around 1900, the mill ceased operation, and was left to fall into ruins. The stone foundations and turbine pit are more intact than any other former mill buildings in the county, providing the best example of the importance of the milling industry within 19th century commerce.The W.A. Boyd farm was one of the larger farms/plantations in Williamson County before and after the American Civil War. After the war, many of these were reduced in size, but the Boyd farm, which included the Boyd Mill had 528 acres.The 157 acre Boyd-Wilson Farm, a century farm that is now also NRHP-listed, includes the Boyd Mill Ruins.

Burwood, Tennessee is an unincorporated community in southeastern Williamson County, Tennessee.

Huff's Store is a general store in Burwood, Tennessee. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988. It is a one-story building with a hipped roof that was built in 1911.The store is one of the last general stores still operating in Middle Tennessee. It was owned and operated by Kenneth E. Huff, one of eight children in the Huff family, which acquired the store in 1937, until his death on May 23, 2014. His son, Charlie Huff now operates the store. A brother, Glenn Huff, operated a store in Brentwood called Huff's Grocery.In a 1988 study of historic resources in Williamson County, Huff's Store was evaluated to be one of the "two best remaining store buildings from the early 20th century" outside of Franklin (along with the Thompson Store at Duplex). As of 1988, it was described as "remarkably unaltered."Several television commercials have been made at Huff's Store.According to the NRHP nomination, "The store built in 1911 by Millard and Vance Akin who ran a general store at this location until 1937. The Akin brothers used the building to sell general produce and utilized the small balcony area for the sale of shoes. In 1937 the store was purchased by R.G. Huff who operated the store into the 1960s when ownership and operation were taken over by his son, Ken Huff."
