Kuznetsky Most

TsUM — Central Universal Department Store (Russian: ЦУМ – Центральный Универсальный Магазин, tr. TsUM – Tsentralʹnyĭ Universalʹnyĭ Magazin) is a high end department store in Moscow. The store is in a six-story historical Gothic Revival style building on Petrovka Street at Theatre Square (Teatralnaya Square) in the Tverskoy District of central Moscow. The TsUM interiors have been refurbished many times, most recently in 2007. TsUM is a part of the Mercury Group.

Petrovsky Passage (Russian: Петровский Пассаж) is an elite department store opened on Petrovka Street in downtown Moscow in 1906. The engineer Vladimir Shukhov, also responsible for the GUM and the Shabolovka tower, designed a covered arcade with two wide three-storey galleries covered with high-pitched semi-cylindrical glass vaulting. The second storeys of opposite galleries are connected by exquisitely designed ferroconcrete catwalks. In the 1990s, the shop was revamped as the centre of one of the most expensive shopping areas in Europe.

The Bolshoi Theatre (Russian: Большо́й теа́тр, tr. Bol'shoy teatr, literally "Big Theater", IPA: [bɐlʲˈʂoj tʲɪˈatər]) is a historic theatre in Moscow, Russia, originally designed by architect Joseph Bové, which holds ballet and opera performances. Before the October Revolution it was a part of the Imperial Theatres of the Russian Empire along with Maly Theatre (Small Theatre) in Moscow and a few theatres in Saint Petersburg (Hermitage Theatre, Bolshoi (Kamenny) Theatre, later Mariinsky Theatre and others). The Bolshoi Ballet and Bolshoi Opera are among the oldest and best known ballet and opera companies in the world. It is by far the world's biggest ballet company, with more than 200 dancers. The theatre is the parent company of The Bolshoi Ballet Academy, a leading school of ballet. It has a branch at the Bolshoi Theater School in Joinville, Brazil.The main building of the theatre, rebuilt and renovated several times during its history, is a landmark of Moscow and Russia (its iconic neoclassical façade is depicted on the Russian 100-ruble banknote). On 28 October 2011, the Bolshoi re-opened after an extensive six-year renovation. The official cost of the renovation is 21 billion rubles ($688 million). However, other Russian authorities and other people connected to it claimed much more public money was spent. The renovation included restoring acoustics to the original quality (which had been lost during the Soviet Era), as well as restoring the original Imperial decor of the Bolshoi.

The Central Bank of the Russian Federation (Russian: Центральный банк Российской Федерации, romanized: Tsentraljnyy bank Rossiyskoy Federatsii), also known as the Bank of Russia (Russian: Банк России, romanized: Bank Rossii), is the central bank of the Russian Federation, originally founded in 1860 as the State Bank of the Russian Empire. It is headquartered on Neglinnaya Street in Moscow. Its functions are described in the Constitution of Russia (Article 75) and in federal law.

Neglinnaya Street (Russian: Неглинная улица) is a street inside the Garden Ring of Moscow, Russia. It runs from the Bolshoi Theatre to the Trubnaya Square. The street was paved over the underground Neglinnaya River in 1819. Throughout the 20th century the river regularly flooded the street and the adjacent quarter. The highlights of the Neglinnaya include the Muir & Mirrielees building, the Petrovka Passazh, the Sandunov Baths, and the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.

Ararat Park Hyatt Moscow is a five-star hotel in central Moscow, built in 2002 by Murad Sargsyan, a Russian-Armenian businessman. Today, it belongs to his brother Samvel Sargsyan, who was the governor of Armenia's Vayots Dzor province from 2003 to 2007 and a member of the National Assembly of Armenia from 2007 to 2012 from the Republican Party of Armenia.Ararat Park Hyatt Moscow was built on the location of an Armenian restaurant from the Soviet period. The modern building encompasses elements of Armenian architecture.

The Embassy of Moldova in Moscow is the diplomatic mission of Moldova to Russia. The Embassy provides consular services to Moldovan citizens residing or travelling in Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.

Alpine Rose (Russian: Альпийская роза) is a historical building which was built in 1901-1902 as a project of architect A. A. Ostrogradsky in the Art Nouveau style. The building has the status of an identified cultural heritage site. A Russian State Circus is currently residing in the building.

Theatre Square or Teatralnaya Square (Russian: Театральная площадь, Teatralnaya ploshchad), known as Sverdlov Square between 1919 and 1991, is a city square in the Tverskoy District of central Moscow, Russia. It is at the junction of Kuznetsky Bridge Street, Petrovka Street, and Theatre Drive (north-west of the latter; the square south-east of Theatre Drive is the separate Revolution Square). The square is named after the three theatres located on it: the Bolshoi Theatre, Maly Theatre, and Russian Academic Youth Theatre. The square is served by the Moscow metro at the Teatralnaya station on the Zamoskvoretskaya Line; Okhotny Ryad station on the Sokolnicheskaya Line; and Ploshchad Revolyutsii station on the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya Line.

The Ministry of the Russian Federation for Civil Defence, Emergency Situations and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters (Russian: Министерство Российской Федерации по делам гражданской обороны, чрезвычайным ситуациям и ликвидации последствий стихийных бедствий), also known as the Ministry of Emergency Situations (Министерство по чрезвычайным ситуациям; abbreviated MChS, МЧС России) or internationally as EMERCOM (derived from 'Emergency Control Ministry'), is a Russian government agency overseeing the civil emergency services in Russia. President Boris Yeltsin established EMERCOM on January 10, 1994, though the ministry can be traced back to December 27, 1990, when the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic (RSFSR) established the Russian Rescue Corps and assigned it the mission of rapid response in the case of emergencies.

Sandunоvskie Baths (Russian: Сандуно0вские бани специально для жени) or Sandunу (Сандуны́, IPA: [səndʊˈnɨ]) is a cultural and architectural landmark in downtown Moscow, located at 14 Neglinnaya street adjacent to the Central Bank of Russia. First opened in 1808, the baths were founded by and named after the Georgian businessman Sila Sandunov (Zandukeli) (1756–1820), who was once an actor at the court of Catherine II during the 1790s. He bought a land plot on the Neglinnaya River in 1800 to construct baths there.

Moscow Architectural Institute (State Academy) - MArchI (Russian: Московский Архитектурный Институт (Государственная Академия) - МАрхИ) is a famous architecture school located in Moscow, Russia. MArchI trains architects of wide-range specialization in Town-Planning, Architecture of Residential and Public Buildings, Architectural Design, Architecture of Industrial Buildings, Architecture of Agricultural Complexes, Theory and History of Architecture, Restoration of Architectural Monuments, Interior Architecture, Landscaping. The language of education is Russian. The full course of studies lasts 6 years. After that students get the diploma and can work as architects in Russia. After 5 years of education students get the bachelor's diploma.
