The UCSF School of Dentistry is the dental school of the University of California, San Francisco, in San Francisco, California, in the United States. It was founded in 1881 and is the oldest dental school in California and the western United States. It is accredited by the American Dental Association. In 2016, it had received the highest NIH funding of any US dental school for 25 consecutive years. It is one of the top dental schools in the world, being ranked #5 by QS World University Rankings and 7 by Academic Ranking of World Universities.

It consistently ranks among the top nursing schools in the United States by NIH funding. It is recognized as one of the premier graduate nursing schools in the United States.

UCSF faculty have treated patients and trained residents since 1873 at the San Francisco General Hospital and for over 50 years at the San Francisco VA Medical Center. UCSF School of Medicine is the top recipient of National Institutes of Health (NIH) research funding amongst all U.S. public universities and public medical schools, with $601,764,262 of funding. US News & World Report ranks UCSF School of Medicine #4 in research training and #2 in primary care training. The UCSF School of Medicine has seven major sites throughout the San Francisco Bay area, and is composed of 28 academic departments, eight organized research units, and five interdisciplinary research centers. The main site is at the Parnassus Heights campus, which is home to the UCSF Medical Center and the Langley Porter Psychiatric Institute. The UCSF Medical Center at Mission Bay opened in 2015 and is home to the UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital, UCSF Betty Irene Moore Women's Hospital and the UCSF Bakar Cancer Hospital.

Founded in 1872, it is the oldest pharmacy school in California and the western United States. For 41 consecutive years it has been the top recipient of NIH funding among all US pharmacy programs, with a total of $40.9 million in awards in 2020 (increasing almost $15 million from the previous year). In 2020, it was ranked second nationwide by U.S. News & World Report.

The University of California, San Francisco Medical Center is a research and teaching hospital in San Francisco, California and is the medical center of the University of California, San Francisco. It is affiliated with the UCSF School of Medicine. In 2021–22, it was ranked as the 9th-best overall hospital in the United States and the third best hospital in California (behind UCLA Medical Center and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, which are both located in Los Angeles) by U.S. News & World Report.It was founded in 1907 at the site of Parnassus Heights, on Mount Sutro, following the 1906 earthquake, and it was the first hospital in the University of California system. The university acquired Mount Zion Hospital in 1990, which became the second major clinical site and since 1999 has hosted the first comprehensive cancer center in Northern California. Beginning in 2001, the University expanded in the Mission Bay neighborhood and added a new medical center with three new hospitals.

The Fetal Treatment Center at the University of California, San Francisco is a multidisciplinary care center dedicated to the diagnosis, treatment, and long-term follow-up of fetal birth defects. It combines the talents of specialists in pediatric surgery, genetics, obstetrics/perinatology, radiology, nursing, and neonatal medicine.

The Langley Porter Psychiatric Institute (LPPI) is a psychiatric teaching hospital, part of the Psychiatry Department at the University of California, San Francisco. It is located at 401 Parnassus Avenue at Hillway Avenue on the Parnassus campus of UCSF. Langley Porter was the first psychiatric institute in California, and is the oldest facility of the UCSF Psychiatry Department.

Irving and 2nd Avenue (outbound) and Irving and Arguello (inbound) are a pair of one-way light rail stops on the Muni Metro N Judah line, located in the Inner Sunset neighborhood of San Francisco, California. The stops opened with the N Judah line on October 21, 1928. They are the primary stop for the Parnassus campus of the University of California, San Francisco. The inbound stop has a long bulb-out serving as the platform, with a shelter and handicapped-accessible mini-high platform at the eastern end. The outbound stop has a shelter east of 2nd Avenue (but no bulb-out); the mini-high platform is located west of 2nd Avenue.

Carl and Hillway is a light rail stop on the Muni Metro N Judah line, located in the Inner Sunset neighborhood of San Francisco, California. The station opened with the N Judah line on October 21, 1928. Trains stop at marked poles; there are no platforms or shelters. A crossover is located at the stop, allowing outbound trains to be switched back inbound. In September 2016, Muni began running a pair of one-car shuttles between Embarcadero station and Carl and Hillway during morning rush hour to reduce crowding on the inner section of the line. A study after one month showed the shuttles had increased capacity on the inner part of the line by 18% and reduced the number of passengers unable to board overcrowded trains by 63%.

The Clown Conservatory is a performing arts school in San Francisco, CA. The school began in 2000 with a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.

Circus Center is a circus school in San Francisco, California. It was founded in 1984 by Wendy Parkman and Judy Finelli as the San Francisco School of Circus Arts.
