Mount Vernon Presbyterian School

The Punchline is a comedy club first opened in 1982 in Sandy Springs, Georgia. The venue seats 270 people and presents shows five or more nights per week. The club has hosted comedians as diverse as Robin Williams, Eddie Murphy, Dane Cook, and was the original performance venue of Jeff Foxworthy. The clubhouse originally housed a carpet barn, and at one time was a country and western bar. The decor of the country and western bar is still evident in the club today. Ron DiNunzio and Dave Montesano were the original owners of the business. Today comedian manager Chris DiPetta, and Atlanta attorney Jamie Bendall are the owners of the comedy club. It closed down from its original location in Sandy Springs Ga. in March 2015. There was a hiatus of seven months with no brick and mortar location. It reopened in November 2015, now sharing a building with the Landmark Diner.

Sandy Springs is a city in northern Fulton County, Georgia, United States, and a suburb of Atlanta. The city's population was 108,080 at the 2020 census, making it Georgia's 7th most populous city. It is the site of several corporate headquarters, including UPS, Newell Brands, Inspire Brands, Focus Brands, Cox Enterprises, and Mercedes-Benz USA's corporate offices.

Northside Tower is a nine-story, mid-rise office building located at 6065 Roswell Road in downtown Sandy Springs, Georgia, a northern suburb of Atlanta. The building offers 121,520 square feet (11,290 m2) of office space, as well as street-level commercial vendors, including a restaurant. Construction of the building was completed in 1971, and the architectural design is in the form of early-seventies modern. The building is technically considered part of the Perimeter Center office sub-market. The significance of Northside Tower comes from the purpose it has served as an unofficial landmark for the center of Sandy Springs, even before the city's incorporation in 2005.

The Atlanta Georgia Temple (formerly the Atlanta Temple) of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) was the first temple built by the church in the Southeastern United States and the second temple east of the Mississippi River since 1846. Members of the church consider it a literal "house of God" comparable to the ancient Israelite temple where, as recorded in Bible, God spoke with Samuel. Emphasizing this belief, the building's façade bears the inscription "Holiness to the Lord – The House of the Lord." The announcement to build a temple in Georgia was made by the church's First Presidency in April 1980. A site for the temple was selected on a 13-acre (53,000 m2) lot in Fulton County, in the then-unincorporated city of Sandy Springs, between Barfield Road on the east and Glenridge Drive on the west, 3.5 miles (5.6 km) north of Atlanta.

Park Towers is a high-rise condominium and apartment development located in the portion of the Perimeter Center edge city which is within the U.S. city of Sandy Springs, Georgia. The development consists of three buildings: Park Towers I, Park Towers II, and Park Towers III (Park Towers Place). Buildings II and I are the third- and fourth-tallest buildings in the city (behind Concourse Corporate Center V & VI, the "King & Queen" towers), and fourth and fifth within Perimeter Center (behind Three Ravinia Drive in Dunwoody). The area is the fourth-largest business district in metro Atlanta (behind Atlanta's downtown, midtown, and Buckhead areas), and the first to reach outside the major city into the suburbs.

The Felicia Penzell Weber Jewish Community High School, often referred to as The Weber School, is a coeducational and pluralistic Jewish community high school located in Sandy Springs, Georgia, United States. Weber has approximately 350 students, the majority of whom come from The Epstein School, The Davis Academy, Atlanta Jewish Academy, and other private and public schools.

Built in phases between 1984 and 1991, the Concourse at Landmark Center is a real estate development in metro Atlanta's Perimeter Center business district, in the city of Sandy Springs, Georgia, United States. It is a 70 acre planned community with two 34-story office towers, several low-rise office buildings, a hotel, and a health club, all set in landscaped grounds around a human-made lake. Set at the northeastern corner of the junction of two of Atlanta's busiest highways (Interstate 285 and Georgia 400), the Concourse, with its blue glass towers, was a major addition to the Atlanta skyline for commuters traveling to and from the north side of suburban Atlanta. It houses several corporate headquarters, including those of Spectrum Brands Holdings, Inc., CodeMettle, and Allconnect.

The Art Institute of Atlanta was a private for-profit art school in Atlanta, Georgia. It was owned by the Education Principle Foundation. The school was part of the Art Institutes chain of art schools. It awarded associate and bachelor's degrees, including Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degrees, Bachelor of Arts (BA) degrees, and Bachelor of Science (BS) degrees, and also offered diploma and non-degree programs. The school closed along with all Art Institute schools in September 2023.

Perimeter Center is a major edge city in metro Atlanta, Georgia, United States. It is centered on Perimeter Mall, the nucleus around which it has formed. Perimeter Center is located north of Atlanta proper, and lies within three cities: Dunwoody, Sandy Springs, and Brookhaven. The Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA) is a trade association that represents hotel owners. As of 2022, AAHOA has approximately 20,000 members who own about 60% of the hotels in the United States. AAHOA provides service and support for hoteliers through its educational offerings, policy and political advocacy for the interests of hotel owners, opportunities for professional development, and community engagement.Indian Americans in the hotel and motel industry early on faced discrimination, both from the insurance industry and from competitors placing "American owned" signs outside their properties to take business from them. In 1985, a group was formed in Tennessee, the Mid-south Indemnity Association, which then grew nationwide and changed its name to the Indo American Hospitality Association. Another group of Indian hoteliers was created in Atlanta in 1989 to address discrimination issues and increase awareness of Asian Americans working in the hospitality industry under the name Asian American Hotel Owners Association. In 1994, the organizations merged in order to work more efficiently to defend Asian hotel owners’ interests throughout the United States.The association's current President & CEO, appointed in May 2022, is Laura Lee Blake. A highly accomplished attorney with more than 25 years of experience, Blake most recently served as a partner at Connor, Fletcher, and Hedenkamp LLP in Irvine, California. Blake brings decades of experience in the fields of law, government, business, and academia to AAHOA. Blake previously worked for AAHOA for nearly 10 years, from 2005 to 2014, as General Counsel & Vice President of Fair Franchising and Government Affairs.

Congregation B'nai Torah is a Conservative synagogue located in Sandy Springs, Georgia, in the United States. It was founded in 1981 by young, unaffiliated Jews who had attended the Hillel High holiday services at Emory University since the 1970s. The 125 member families met in a closed grammar school until 1984, and then for two years in trailers, until they constructed a synagogue building.
