The Andalucia Building was built in 1911. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999. The building is located on State Street, in the southeastern part of the historical center of Santa Barbara, California, immediately next to the Highway 101. The building is one of the few examples of Moorish architecture in Santa Barbara.

The building is located on the southern side of West Haley Street, 17 W. Haley Street, in the southeastern part of the historical center of Santa Barbara, California.

Santa Barbara Business College (SBBCollege) was a private, for-profit college with four campuses in California, operated from 1888 to 2020. The college was founded in 1888 as a co-ed finishing college in Santa Barbara. It expanded its program fields and campus locations to four campuses and an online campus. The college was acquired by San Joaquin Valley College in 2020.

Santa Barbara's Moreton Bay Fig Tree located in Santa Barbara, California is believed to be the largest Ficus macrophylla in the United States.A seaman visiting Santa Barbara in 1876 presented a seedling of an Australian Moreton Bay fig tree to a local girl who planted it at 201 State Street. After the girl moved away a year later, her girlfriend, Adeline Crabb, transplanted the tree to the corner of Montecito and Chapala streets, just a few blocks from the ocean, on land then owned by the Southern Pacific Transportation Company. The tree was officially designated as a historic landmark in 1970, and the property was deeded to the City of Santa Barbara in 1976. The tree has since been placed on the California Register of Big Trees. The roots are protected by a chain barrier the size of the canopy. The tree may be viewed at the Amtrak Train Station, 209 State Street. In July 1997, the circumference of the tree, measured at a height of 4.5 feet (1.4 m) above the ground, was 41.5 feet (12.6 m). The average crown spread was 176 feet (54 m) and the total height was 80 feet (24 m).

The Arlington Theatre is a historic movie theatre in Santa Barbara, California, United States. Combining the Mission Revival and Spanish Colonial Revival styles of architecture, it the largest movie theater and principal performing arts venue the city. In addition to regular screenings and artists, it is home to many events associated with the annual Santa Barbara International Film Festival.

The Arlington Hotel was a historic hotel in Santa Barbara, California, United States. Opened in 1876, it was one of the grandest hotels in the West. The original building burned down on 15 August 1909, and a replacement hotel was completed in 1911 at a cost of over one and a half million dollars. This building suffered further misfortune when a strong earthquake devastated the town in 1925, and the hotel was left in ruins.

Santa Barbara station is a passenger rail station in Santa Barbara, California, served by two Amtrak lines, the Coast Starlight and the Pacific Surfliner. The Coast Starlight runs once daily in each direction between Los Angeles and Seattle, Washington. The Pacific Surfliner trains serving this station run ten times daily (five in each direction) between San Diego and the Santa Barbara suburb of Goleta, with two of those running in each direction to/from San Luis Obispo further to the north. The station is fully staffed with ticketing and checked-baggage services.

Antioch University Santa Barbara (AUSB) is a private liberal arts university in downtown Santa Barbara, California. It is part of the Antioch University system that includes campuses in Keene, New Hampshire; Seattle, Washington; Los Angeles, California; and Yellow Springs, Ohio, also home to Antioch College. Antioch University has operated in Santa Barbara since 1977.

MOXI, The Wolf Museum of Exploration + Innovation is a non-profit science and children's museum in Santa Barbara, California. A 501(c)(3) non-profit, the museum opened on February 25th, 2017. The 17,000 square feet (1,600 m2) of exhibits are primarily geared towards children with a particular emphasis placed on STEAM education. As of 2024 MOXI saw just over 167,000 visitors annually and in June 2024 celebrated its 1-millionth visitor. The Wolf in the museum's name comes from Dick Wolf who donated multiple millions of dollars to the museum and who's ex-wife Noelle sat on the board for over a decade. The museum is located between the historic Santa Barbara Train Station and Santa Barbara's Hotel Indigo.

Stampa Barbara was a store in Santa Barbara, California that focused exclusively on rubber stamps. Opened in 1985, by Gary Dorothy, the store was the first of its kind. The store created their own designs, as well as selling several other companies' stamps. Stampa Barbara would open a second location in 1992 on Melrose, in Los Angeles. Gary Dorothy closed the store and sold his remaining inventory to Clearsnap in 1999, but would continue to make and sell stamps online.

The Santa Barbara News-Press was a broadsheet newspaper based in Santa Barbara, California. It was founded in 1868 as the Post and merged with the rival News to form the News-Press in 1932. On July 21, 2023, it filed for bankruptcy and ceased publication.
