Long Marston Airfield was a Royal Air Force base between 1941 and 1954, situated approximately 3 miles (4.8 km) south west of Stratford-upon-Avon near the village of Long Marston in Warwickshire. It is now managed by Anthony Hodges, and is home to: Second World War airfield buildings Unusual F.C. In 1981 the tv series Crossroads filmed there, ATV relocated the set of the Crossroads reception area to the Airfield to set light to it as part of the motel fire storyline. In 1983 the Evesham Motorcycle Club hosted held the British Masters Grasstrack Championships at the Airfield.

Situated on the former RAF Long Marston station which became Long Marston Airfield, drag racing events occurred on the site sporadically since the early 1970s. In 1990 the track became known as 'Avon Park Raceway', advertised as "Spectacular drag racing for cars and bikes at the fastest track outside the USA", In 2008 it finally became Shakespeare County Raceway Ltd.SCR is generally considered to be Britain's 'second' dragstrip after Santa Pod Raceway. In late 2017, planning applications were submitted by Cala to build initially 400 homes on the site, followed eventually by a further 3,100 to be known as Marston Mead Garden Village.Local newspaper Stratford Herald reported in December 2017 that a Stratford local council document established that potentially up to £100 million funding from the developer Cala would need to be assured, to be invested widely into infrastructure improvements, including roads, public transport, schools and doctors' surgeries.Their official website now states the raceway closed in 2018.

Long Marston railway station was a station at Long Marston, Warwickshire on the Great Western Railway line between Stratford-upon-Avon and Honeybourne, which became part of the Great Western Railway's new main line between Birmingham and Cheltenham.

Admington is a village and civil parish in the Stratford-on-Avon district of the English county of Warwickshire. The name Admington means "estate associated with a man called Æthelhelm" and the village is referred to in the Domesday Book as Edelmintone. Until 31 March 1931 the parish was a part of Gloucestershire. The village lies 1+3⁄4 miles (2.8 km) north-west of Ilmington and 5+1⁄2 miles (8.9 km) north-east of Chipping Campden. The parish has an area of 997 acres (403 ha). Admington shares a village hall with the neighbouring village of Quinton. In the 2001 census the parish had a population of 100. The 2011 census gives population details combined with those of Quinton. Admington is the location of Admington Hall, an early 17th-century country house with an 18th-century façade.

Kiftsgate Court Gardens is situated above the village of Mickleton in the county of Gloucestershire, England, in the far north of the county close to the county border with both Worcestershire and Warwickshire. The gardens, famed for its roses, are the creation of three generations of women gardeners. Started by Heather Muir in the 1920s, continued by Diany Binny from 1950 and now looked after by Anne Chambers and her husband. Kiftsgate Court is now the home of the Chambers family. The Kiftsgate Hundred was the ancient area surrounding Chipping Campden. Today the 'Kiftsgate Hundred' stone, where the elders met to administer justice, stands in Weston Park Wood above Chipping Campden. Included in the Hundred was Mickleton, called Mycclantune, meaning 'big village'. It is a few hundred yards from Hidcote Manor Garden owned by the National Trust.

The population of the parish was 1,677 at the 2011 Census.

Hidcote Bartrim is a hamlet and former civil parish, now in the parish of Ebrington, in the Cotswold district of Gloucestershire, England. The nearest town is Chipping Campden, which is approximately 2.75 miles (4.43 km) south-west from the village. The village is on the Gloucestershire-Warwickshire border. It should not be confused with Hidcote Boyce, a similarly sized village roughly 0.5 miles (0.80 km) south of Hidcote Bartrim.
