Five Points Mall, formerly North Park Mall, was an enclosed shopping mall in Marion, Indiana, U.S. Opened in 1978, the mall's anchor stores are Roses Discount Store. Planet fitness & Applebee's are other major tenants. There are 3 vacant anchor stores that were once Sears, Carson's, and JCPenney. Outparcel properties include Subway, Buffalo Wild Wings, Ruler Foods, Jo-Ann Stores, and Dollar Tree. The Mall is managed by Select Strategies.

J. Wood Wilson House, also known as the Wilson-Vaughan House and Hostess House, is a historic home located at Marion, Grant County, Indiana. It was built in 1912, and is a 2+1⁄2-story, rectangular, Colonial Revival / Georgian Revival style brick dwelling. The front facade features a projecting portico with Ionic order columns and balcony with a decorative iron railing. It was designed by noted African-American architect Samuel Plato (1882–1957).: 2 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

It encompasses 52 contributing buildings, 2 contributing structures, and 1 contributing object in the central business district of Marion. It developed between about 1870 and 1942, and includes notable examples of Italianate, Romanesque, and Classical Revival style architecture. Located in the district is the separately listed Grant County Jail and Sheriff's Residence. Other notable buildings are the Grant County Courthouse (1881–1883), Marion Bank Building (c. 1917), Iroquois Building (c. 1895), Dan-Mar Apartments (c. 1900), United Telephone Block (c. 1903), Cecelian Apartments (c. 1915), Marion Post Office (c. 1942), and William Smith Building / Mecca Club (c. 1917).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.

The Marie Webster House, also known as George Webster Jr. and Marie Daugherty House, is a historic house at 926 South Washington Street in Marion, Indiana. Built in 1905, it was the home of quilter Marie Webster (1859-1956) from 1909 until 1942, and is now home to the Quilters Hall of Fame. It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1993, honoring Webster's role in promoting and broadening interest and knowledge of the craft.The Quilters Hall of Fame is a non-profit organization dedicated to honoring those who have made outstanding contributions to the world of quilting. Founded in 1979 by Hazel McDowell Carter, the Hall features a museum with exhibits of quilts and quilt-makers.

Marion is a city in and the county seat of Grant County, Indiana, United States, along the Mississinewa River. The population was 28,310 as of the 2020 census. Aaron Swayzee House, also known as the Swayzee-Love House, is a historic home located at Marion, Grant County, Indiana. It was built in 1855, and is a two-story, L-shaped, Greek Revival style brick dwelling painted white. The front facade features a pedimented portico with two 22-foot tall Corinthian order columns and stained glass windows. It is one of the oldest houses in Marion and Grant County.: 2 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Grant County Jail and Sheriff's Residence is a historic county jail and residence located at 215 East 3rd Street in Marion, Grant County, Indiana. It was designed by Richards, McCarty & Bulford and built in 1904. It consists of two distinct units that are constructed of red pressed brick with limestone detailing. The residence is in the Queen Anne style with English Tudor details. It sits on a raised basement and has a bell-cast roof.: 2–3  It has been converted into apartments. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990 and is part of the Marion Downtown Commercial Historic District.

The Dr. Richard Davis House, also known as "Woodside", is a historic Frank Lloyd Wright designed home in the Shady Hills neighborhood in Washington Township, just north of Marion in Grant County, Indiana. The Usonian style home was constructed in 1955. An addition was completed in 1960.: 2 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.

Shady Hills is a neighborhood just north of Marion, Indiana in Grant County, Indiana. Like Marion, it is right off of Interstate 69. It was built throughout the 1940s and 1950s on the rolling hills just north of town. There is a golf course (Shady Hills Golf Club) adjoining the neighborhood. Nearby churches include First Friends and First Christian (Disciples of Christ). Marion's Matter Park is also very close. Originally children from Shady Hills attended Oak Hill Schools, but they now attend Marion Community Schools.A notable architectural attraction is the Dr. Richard Davis House, "Woodside" designed by Frank Lloyd Wright located on Overlook Drive that runs through Shady Hills from Indiana 15 to North River Drive. Dr. Davis and his wife Madelyn Pugh (a writer for the I Love lucy TV show) had the home built, but after a short stay in Indiana, opted to move permanently to the west coast.Shady hills is also about 30 miles east of the Kokomo Metropolitan Area
