Kamnitz Gorge

Janov (German: Jonsdorf) is a municipality and village in Děčín District in the Ústí nad Labem Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 300 inhabitants. Janov lies approximately 13 kilometres (8 mi) north-east of Děčín, 28 km (17 mi) north-east of Ústí nad Labem, and 87 km (54 mi) north of Prague.

The Pravčická brána (German: Prebischtor) is a narrow rock formation located in Bohemian Switzerland in the Czech Republic, approx. 3 km northeast of Hřensko. With a span of 26.5 metres, an inside height of 16 metres, 8 metre maximum width and 3 metre arch, it is the largest natural sandstone arch in Europe, and one of the most striking natural monuments in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains.

Hřensko (German: Herrnskretschen) is a municipality and village in Děčín District in the Ústí nad Labem Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 300 inhabitants.

Großer Winterberg is a mountain of Saxony, southeastern Germany. It is the second highest mountain of the Saxon Switzerland and is located on the border between Germany and the Czech Republic.

Arnoltice (German: Arnsdorf) is a municipality and village in Děčín District in the Ústí nad Labem Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 400 inhabitants. Arnoltice lies approximately 10 kilometres (6 mi) north-east of Děčín, 26 km (16 mi) north-east of Ústí nad Labem, and 84 km (52 mi) north of Prague.

The Kamenice (German: Kamnitz) is a 35.6-kilometre-long river in the Děčín District, in northwestern Czech Republic. It originates in the Lusatian Mountains and then flows through the national park of Bohemian Switzerland, emptying into the Elbe River (Czech: Labe) in Hřensko.

Schöna (German: Bahnhof Schöna) is a station located on the grounds of Reinhardtsdorf-Schöna municipality, Saxony, Germany. It is the closest German station to the national border between Germany and the Czech Republic on the Děčín–Dresden-Neustadt railway. It is not a border station, though. Those used to be Bad Schandau and Děčín hlavní nádraží. There are a couple of sidings south of the station where the S1 can prepare to return towards Dresden. There is hardly any access from the station to village of Schöna, which is outside the Elbe valley in southern direction. The station is more important to reach the village of Hřensko in the Czech Republic, which is just across the river and can be reached by ferry.

Růžová (German: Rosendorf) is a municipality and village in Děčín District in the Ústí nad Labem Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 600 inhabitants. The folk architecture in the village of Kamenická Stráň is well preserved and is protected by law as a village monument zone. Růžová lies approximately 12 kilometres (7 mi) north-east of Děčín, 28 km (17 mi) north-east of Ústí nad Labem, and 85 km (53 mi) north of Prague.

Bohemian Switzerland (Czech: České Švýcarsko; German: Böhmische Schweiz), also known as Czech Switzerland, is a picturesque region in the north-western Czech Republic. It has been a protected area (as Elbe Sandstone Mountains Protected Landscape Area) since 1972. The region along the right side of the Elbe became a national park on 1 January 2000, the Bohemian Switzerland National Park. The National Park is adjacent to the Saxon Switzerland National Park in Germany.

Labská Stráň lies approximately 10 kilometres (6 mi) north of Děčín, 26 km (16 mi) north-east of Ústí nad Labem, and 86 km (53 mi) north of Prague.

The Winterstein, also called the Hinteres Raubschloss, is an isolated, elongated rock massif in the hinterland of Saxon Switzerland in East Germany. On the summit there was once a medieval castle, also called Winterstein, of which remains such as rebates for timber beams, hewn-out steps and cisterns are still visible.

Kleiner Winterberg is a hill in Saxon Switzerland.
