Arnoltice lies approximately 10 kilometres (6 mi) north-east of Děčín, 26 km (16 mi) north-east of Ústí nad Labem, and 84 km (52 mi) north of Prague.

The Kamnitz Gorge (Czech: Soutěsky Kamenice, German: Kamnitzklamm or German: Edmundsklamm) is a rocky ravine between Hřensko (Herrnskretschen), Mezná and Srbská Kamenice in Bohemian Switzerland in the Czech Republic. The river Kamnitz flows through it and discharges near Hřensko into the Elbe.

The Růžovský vrch, also Růžák (German: Rosenberg) is the dominant mountain (619 m) in the Bohemian Switzerland east of the River Elbe in the Czech Republic. Its almost circular cone shape makes it one of the most typical representatives of the mountains of North Bohemia. The upper part of the mountain is made of basalt, whilst at its foot sandstone is also found. The flanks of the mountain are covered by an almost virgin deciduous forest, in which mighty beech and sycamore are especially impressive. Since 1973 the mountain has been protected as a national nature reserve and, since 2000, it has lain within the core zone of the Bohemian Switzerland National Park.

Kámen (German: Heidenstein) is a municipality and village in Děčín District in the Ústí nad Labem Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 200 inhabitants. Kámen lies approximately 8 kilometres (5 mi) north-east of Děčín, 23 km (14 mi) north-east of Ústí nad Labem, and 81 km (50 mi) north of Prague.

The Pravčická brána (German: Prebischtor) is a narrow rock formation located in Bohemian Switzerland in the Czech Republic, approx. 3 km northeast of Hřensko. With a span of 26.5 metres, an inside height of 16 metres, 8 metre maximum width and 3 metre arch, it is the largest natural sandstone arch in Europe, and one of the most striking natural monuments in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains.

Bohemian Switzerland (Czech: České Švýcarsko; German: Böhmische Schweiz), also known as Czech Switzerland, is a picturesque region in the north-western Czech Republic. It has been a protected area (as Elbe Sandstone Mountains Protected Landscape Area) since 1972. The region along the right side of the Elbe became a national park on 1 January 2000, the Bohemian Switzerland National Park. The National Park is adjacent to the Saxon Switzerland National Park in Germany.

The Großer Zschand is the longest dry valley in Saxon Switzerland and runs for about 6 km from the Neumann Mill in the Kirnitzsch valley to the Roßmaulwiese meadown in Bohemian Switzerland. The Großer Zschand has no permanent watercourse; during times of snowmelt or after heavy rain, individual, locally limited watercourses and small marshy areas are formed.

Ludvíkovice (German: Loosdorf) is a municipality and village in Děčín District in the Ústí nad Labem Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 900 inhabitants. Ludvíkovice lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) north-east of Děčín, 23 km (14 mi) north-east of Ústí nad Labem, and 81 km (50 mi) north of Prague.
