Dafen is a village situated east of Llanelli in Carmarthenshire, Wales, part of the Llanelli Rural community. Dafen borders the villages of Felinfoel (Bryngwyn-Mawr), Bryn, Penceilogi, and Pemberton. Wales Air Ambulance is based at Dafen in a purpose-built headquarters completed in 2016.

St. John Lloyd Catholic Comprehensive School is located in Llanelli, Carmarthenshire, Wales. It is a mixed, community comprehensive school of around 500 pupils, catering for all abilities across an age range of 11 to 16 years. It is dedicated to St. John Lloyd, who was executed in Cardiff in 1679 for exercising his priesthood.The school is situated in Llanelli's Dafen suburb, although pupils are drawn from as far afield as Carmarthen, Pembrey, Burry Port, Kidwelly, and Trimsaran. Felinfoel (pronounced ) is a small village and electoral ward on the River Lliedi on the northern border of Llanelli, Carmarthenshire, West Wales, with a population of about 2,000. The Felinfoel Brewery, home of Double Dragon Ale, is the oldest in Wales. It was the first brewery outside the US to sell beer in cans.The village is renowned for its close community and ties with many famous names that have starred in past Llanelli RFC line-ups. The rugby union fly-half Phil Bennett, who played for Llanelli, Wales and the British Lions, was one of Felinfoel's most famous residents until his death in 2022. Felinfoel is part of the Llanelli Rural community. It is generally considered a suburb of the town of Llanelli.

Pemberton is an area situated east of Llanelli in Carmarthenshire, Wales. It is part of the Llanelli Rural (Welsh-Llanelli Wledig) community bordering Llanelli and the villages of Cwmcarnhywel, Dafen, Cefncaeau and the outskirts of Llanelli town.

Stebonheath Park (Welsh: Parc Stebonheath) is a multi-use stadium in Llanelli, West Wales with a capacity of 3,700. It is primarily used as a football ground and is the home of Llanelli Town A.F.C. It was also used for athletics and Llanelli Amateur Athletic Club (Llanelli AAC) were based at the stadium. It is owned by Llanelli Town Council. From 2015 West Wales Raiders rugby league club used the stadium for their debut season in the Conference League South and subsequent season in the RFL League 1 until the club withdrew from the league in December 2022.

Penceilogi is a small village on the northern outskirts of Llanelli, Carmarthenshire, Wales. It is bordered by Bryn to the east, Dafen to the north-west, Pemberton to the west and Cwmcarnhywel to the south.

Lliedi is an electoral ward for Llanelli Town Council and Carmarthenshire County Council in Llanelli, Wales. The ward is in the far north of Llanelli, bounded to the west by Old Road and to the south by James Street. The River Lliedi runs through the middle of the ward. The population of this ward at the 2011 census was 5,457.

St Alban's Church Was an Anglican church in the town of Llanelli, Carmarthenshire, Wales. It was built between 1911 and 1915 and is located prominently on a hilltop at the junction of Alban Road and Stebonheath. It was designated as a Grade II listed building on 3 December 1992 and is now in private ownership. The Church of St. Alban was erected between 1911 and 1915 by E. M. Bruce Vaughan. Set high on a hill, there is a large basement under its west end. It is built in the local greyish-brown stone with dressings of Bath stone. It is in the late decorative to early perpendicular style and its design is probably influenced by George Frederick Bodley; the clerestoried nave with side aisles is long and the chancel high. The interior is faced with smooth grey ashlar with Bath stone decoration, and the nave is well-lit by the large, high-positioned east windows. The nave has an open timber roof while the chancel has a painted and panelled ceiling. The chancel floor is tiled in green and white. The baptismal font Which was removed and sold by the Church of Wales, was a finely-carved ashlar bowl standing on marble legs.The church was designated as a Grade II listed building on 3 December 1992, the reason for listing being that it is a fine example of a church of its period. The Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Wales curates the archaeological, architectural and historic records for this church. These include digital photographs of the exterior and interior. The church was declared redundant by the Church in Wales and sold in 2011. It is now thought to be used for residential and commercial purposes.

Coedcae School (Welsh: Ysgol Coedcae) is a comprehensive school in Llanelli, Wales. As of 2020 it has 880 pupils, aged from 11 to 16 years old. The school uniform is black trousers, white shirt and red and silver tie (Purple and silver for senior pupils) and a black jumper with the school logo. The current head teacher is Tracy Senchal, the school has around 70 teachers. Coedcae was placed in school quality group 2, 1 being excellent and 5 being poor. Notable past students include the cricketer Simon Jones and the athlete Dai Greene. The 2011/2012 school year marked the end of deputy headmaster, Mr Robert Davies', 37 year teaching career as he retired. 2013 saw Coedcae getting a 48% pass rate at GCSEs grade A-C, decreasing in 2014 to a 39% pass rate. This was a drastic improvement from the 49% pass rate in the school year 2010/2011.

Parc y Scarlets (Welsh pronunciation: [ˈpark ə ˈskarlɛts], meaning: Scarlets Park) is a rugby union stadium in Llanelli, Carmarthenshire, that opened in November 2008 as the new home of the Scarlets and Llanelli RFC. The ground replaced Stradey Park, the home of Llanelli's rugby teams for almost 130 years. The stadium complex includes facilities for matchday supporters and for non-matchday revenue generation, as well as a training barn and a training pitch with athletics track. The stadium also occasionally hosts some matches of the Wales national under-21 and senior football teams, as well as Llanelli Town A.F.C.'s matches in European competitions. Swansea City A.F.C. Reserve Team played all of their home fixtures at the stadium in the 2011/2012 season. In 2020 the venue was used for Wales home games during the Autumn Nations Cup due to the Millennium Stadium being used as a backup Covid venue to Dragon's Heart hospital during the COVID-19 pandemic.
