Felinfoel

The Llanelli transmitting station is a broadcasting and telecommunications facility located on high ground north of the town of Llanelli, South Wales. It was originally built by the BBC, entering service in mid 1970 transmitting the now-defunct 405-line VHF television system. As such, it was one of the last 405 transmitters ever built. UHF colour television was added to the mast in early 1975. Currently, the transmitter provides DVB-T digital television to the area, along with Scarlet FM radio and a single multiplex of DAB digital radio.

Lliedi is an electoral ward for Llanelli Town Council and Carmarthenshire County Council in Llanelli, Wales. The ward is in the far north of Llanelli, bounded to the west by Old Road and to the south by James Street. The River Lliedi runs through the middle of the ward. The population of this ward at the 2011 census was 5,457.

Bryngwyn Comprehensive School is a mixed-gender English-medium secondary school located in Llanelli, Carmarthenshire, Wales teaching pupils from ages 11-16. Notable pupils include professional cyclist Edward Laverack and 7 time Mr Olympia 212 champion Flex Lewis.

Scarlet FM was an Independent Local Radio station, serving Llanelli, Burry Port, Pembrey and south Carmarthenshire, owned and operated by Town and Country Broadcasting (now Nation Broadcasting). Originally broadcast as a separate station from the Foothold Centre in the Stebonheath area of Llanelli, the station later moved to studios in Narberth in neighbouring Pembrokeshire. After a period of dual-branding, the Llanelli frequency now carries all programming and branding from Radio Carmarthenshire and the rest of the Nation Broadcasting network of local stations, including countywide news, travel and community information, alongside chart music from the 1980s to the present day.

Prince Philip Hospital (Welsh: Ysbyty Tywysog Philip) is a cottage hospital in Llanelli, Wales. It is managed by Hywel Dda University Health Board.

Dafen is a village situated east of Llanelli in Carmarthenshire, Wales, part of the Llanelli Rural community. Dafen borders the villages of Felinfoel (Bryngwyn-Mawr), Bryn, Penceilogi, and Pemberton. Dafen is also an electoral ward, electing councillors to Llanelli Rural Council and Carmarthenshire County Council. At the 2001 census the Dafen ward had a population of 3,433, increasing to 3,597 at the 2011 Census.The village has both residential and industrial areas, and Llanelli's Prince Philip Hospital is located here. Wales Air Ambulance is based at Dafen in a purpose-built headquarters completed in 2016.

Stebonheath Park (Welsh: Parc Stebonheath) is a multi-use stadium in Llanelli, West Wales with a capacity of 3,700. It is primarily used as a football ground and is the home of Llanelli Town A.F.C. It was also used for athletics and Llanelli Amateur Athletic Club (Llanelli AAC) were based at the stadium. It is owned by Llanelli Town Council. From 2015 West Wales Raiders rugby league club used the stadium for their debut season in the Conference League South and subsequent season in the RFL League 1 until the club withdrew from the league in December 2022.

St Alban's Church Was an Anglican church in the town of Llanelli, Carmarthenshire, Wales. It was built between 1911 and 1915 and is located prominently on a hilltop at the junction of Alban Road and Stebonheath. It was designated as a Grade II listed building on 3 December 1992 and is now in private ownership. The Church of St. Alban was erected between 1911 and 1915 by E. M. Bruce Vaughan. Set high on a hill, there is a large basement under its west end. It is built in the local greyish-brown stone with dressings of Bath stone. It is in the late decorative to early perpendicular style and its design is probably influenced by George Frederick Bodley; the clerestoried nave with side aisles is long and the chancel high. The interior is faced with smooth grey ashlar with Bath stone decoration, and the nave is well-lit by the large, high-positioned east windows. The nave has an open timber roof while the chancel has a painted and panelled ceiling. The chancel floor is tiled in green and white. The baptismal font Which was removed and sold by the Church of Wales, was a finely-carved ashlar bowl standing on marble legs.The church was designated as a Grade II listed building on 3 December 1992, the reason for listing being that it is a fine example of a church of its period. The Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Wales curates the archaeological, architectural and historic records for this church. These include digital photographs of the exterior and interior. The church was declared redundant by the Church in Wales and sold in 2011. It is now thought to be used for residential and commercial purposes.

Parc Howard Museum & Art Gallery is a museum in a 19th-century Italianate country house, situated in 24 acres (9.7 ha) of parkland, north of the town centre of Llanelli in Carmarthenshire, Wales. The park is registered on the Cadw/ICOMOS Register of Parks and Gardens of Special Historic Interest in Wales.

St. John Lloyd Catholic Comprehensive School is located in Llanelli, Carmarthenshire, Wales. It is a mixed, community comprehensive school of around 500 pupils, catering for all abilities across an age range of 11 to 16 years. It is dedicated to St. John Lloyd, who was executed in Cardiff in 1679 for exercising his priesthood.The school is situated in Llanelli's Dafen suburb, although pupils are drawn from as far afield as Carmarthen, Pembrey, Burry Port, Kidwelly, and Trimsaran. The main partner primary schools are: St. Mary's School, Dafen Halfway Primary, Llanelli Old Road Primary, Llanelli Pentip Primary, LlanelliThe school also receives a number of pupils from schools outside the catchment area.

Capel Als is an Independent (Congregational) chapel in Llanelli, Carmarthenshire, Wales, It is regarded as one of the most significant religious buildings in Wales. Folk tradition suggested that the name refers to a woman named Als, which along with Alys is the Welsh equivalent of the English name Alice, whose cottage stood where the chapel was built. Another theory contends that the Welsh word als translates as rock, and there is a rock-face behind the chapel. However, there is no word "als" in Welsh meaning rock, and so this latter explanation may be safely disregarded. It is a Grade II-listed building but many believe it should be accorded more significant status.

Swiss Valley Reservoir, also known as Upper Lliedi reservoir and Lower Lliedi reservoir, feeds water to the towns of Llanelli and Llannon. It gets the water from the River Lliedi. The Swiss Valley Cycle Route, which forms part of National Cycle Route 47, itself part of the Celtic Trail), passes Swiss Valley Reservoir on a traffic free path between Llanelli and Cross Hands.
