Angle Vale

Angle Vale Bridge was a laminated timber deck arch bridge erected in 1876 over the Gawler River on Heaslip Road, Angle Vale, South Australia. It was the only surviving bridge of its type in Australia in 2023. The bridge was listed on the South Australian Heritage Register on 24 July 1980. The bridge collapsed on 25 May 2023 as a result of heavy rainfall.

Munno Para West is a northern suburb of Adelaide, South Australia. It is within the City of Playford. Munno Para west is bounded by Max Fatchen Expressway on the west, Curtis Road to the south, Stebonheath Road to the east and a line parallel to Fradd Road but north of the Almond Grove housing estate to the north. The boundaries were adjusted in June 2011 to ensure that the new expressway did not divide the suburb.

MacDonald Park is a northern suburb of Adelaide, South Australia in the City of Playford. It is north and west of a bend in the Max Fatchen Expressway, bounded by Curtis Road and Heaslip Road on the north and west sides. The suburb boundaries were adjusted on 2 June 2011 when the Max Fatchen Expressway was built so that suburbs did not span the expressway. The area south of Petherton Road changed from Penfield to Macdonald Park, and the area between the Expressway and Andrews Road changed from Macdonald Park to Andrews Farm. Some of the current suburb and part of the land transferred to Andrews Farm was formerly the Smithfield Munitions Store, which had been closed before the expressway was built across it. The Curtis Road interchange is also built on former munitions store land.

Gawler River is a locality and former small town on the north bank of the Gawler River, west of the town of Gawler in South Australia. The Dawkins family (of whom M. B. Dawkins MLC was a member) established extensive farms in the early 19th century. The Dawkins' Newbold Stud is credited with being first to develop the Poll Dorset breed of sheep, which is one of Australia's most important sheep meat breeds.The Gawler River church, originally named "Stone Hill" was built in 1854, one of the earliest stone churches in the Gawler area.Gawler River Memorial Hall was erected in 1951, adjacent to the Methodist Church and cemetery. The "Gawler River campus" of Trinity College, Gawler is actually in Angle Vale.

Munno Para Downs is a northern suburb of Adelaide, South Australia in the City of Playford. The suburb was named in 1983 from part of the district of Munno Para. The boundaries were adjusted in 2011 after the construction of the Northern Expressway. The suburb boundaries are (clockwise from western point) Northern Expressway, Angle Vale Road, Dalkeith Road, Main North Road, Alawoona Road and that alignment extended past the northern edge of the older suburb of Munno Para including Field Road and the boundaries of paddocks and orchards back to the Northern Expressway. The area is crossed by the Gawler railway line, but there is no station in Munno Para Downs, the nearest is Kudla, north of Dalkeith Road. Dalkeith brigade of the South Australian Country Fire Service is based in Munno Para Downs on the corner of Dalkeith and Coventry Roads.

St Columba College is a Catholic and Anglican school in Andrews Farm, a northern suburb of Adelaide, South Australia. The school has three campuses (junior, middle and senior) on both sides of President Avenue, the main street through the suburb of Andrews Farm. It is one of the leading schools in Adelaide's North, with over 1400 students across Reception to Year 12.St Columba College was the first joint Catholic and Anglican coeducational school in Australia. It was established in 1996 (first students 1997) as an ecumenical initiative by Ian George and Leonard Faulkner, the Anglican and Catholic archbishops of Adelaide at the time.

Penfield Gardens is a northern suburb of Adelaide, South Australia in the City of Playford. It is in the urban fringe on the Adelaide Plains, with major industries including market gardening and harness racing horse training. Penfield Gardens extends from the south (left) bank of the Gawler River downstream of Angle Vale to the Max Fatchen Expressway. The suburb was named in 1983, with the boundaries further adjusted in 2011 to avoid suburbs being divided by the Max Fatchen Expressway.

Andrews Farm is a northern suburb of Adelaide, South Australia. It is located in the City of Playford.

Mark Oliphant College is a public school in the northern suburbs of Adelaide, South Australia. It teaches students from birth to year 12 and is named after Sir Mark Oliphant. Mark Oliphant College opened in the newly developed area of Munno Para during 2011, after having used two of the former sites since the beginning of 2010. It combined the students from the former Smithfield Plains High School, Smithfield Plains Primary School, Junior Primary and Kindergarten, all having been in the next suburb south, Smithfield Plains.The school buildings are arranged in a circle around a village green which is occasionally used for communal gatherings and as a cricket field for the primary years. The village green features ten paved tennis courts, a full-sized AFL oval and two full-sized soccer pitches to facilitate physical education. The previous Mark Oliphant College campuses (colloquially known as "Old MOC") in Smithfield Plains have now been demolished and the land has been cleared for housing developments. The majority of Mark Oliphant College's senior teaching staff started their careers at Smithfield Plains High School.

The Hundred of Munno Para is a cadastral unit of hundred covering the outer northern suburbs of Adelaide north of the Little Para River and the flanking semi-rural areas in South Australia. It is one of the eleven hundreds of the County of Adelaide. It was named in 1846 by Governor Frederick Robe, Munno Para being a term from a local Kaurna Aboriginal people meaning golden wattle creek. This name refers to either the Gawler River (which starts at the confluence of the South Para River and North Para River) or the Little Para River.

Smithfield Plains is a northern suburb of Adelaide, South Australia in the City of Playford. Smithfield Plains Post Office opened on 7 December 1967 and was located in the Shopping Centre on the corner of Peachey and Crittenden Roads.

Penfield is a northern suburb of Adelaide, South Australia, in the City of Playford. William Penfold, one of the first settlers in the area, subdivided land he had bought in the Hundred of Munno Para in 1856 to create the township of Penfield. The area was commonly known as Peachey Belt or Peachy Belt. The boundaries have changed over the years, the original township being overshadowed by the government acquisition of land immediately south of the early town centre since the 1940s for construction of military facilities such as the Penfield munitions factory. As a result, much of the modern peri-urban locality of Penfield is used for industrial purposes rather than residential and the original town centre is no longer a population centre. The remaining part of the Zoar Bible Christian Church, built in 1855, is the small cemetery.
