Sarona Market (Hebrew: שרונה מרקט) is the largest enclosed culinary market in Israel., located in the southern edge of the city's Templer Colony restoration project in Sarona, Tel Aviv. Sarona Market was constructed by Gindi Holdings and opened in 2015, and is the first indoor market in Israel. After its establishment, other enclosed markets were built throughout the country. In Sarona Market, there are about 90 businesses, including retail stores, food stands and restaurants. The complex is a popular tourist attraction

The White City (Hebrew: העיר הלבנה, Ha-Ir ha-Levana; Arabic: المدينة البيضاء Al-Madinah al-Baydha’a) is a collection of over 4,000 buildings in Tel Aviv from the 1930s built in a unique form of the International Style, commonly known as Bauhaus, by Jewish architects who fled to the British Mandate of Palestine from Germany (and other Central and East European countries with German Cultural influences) after the rise to power of the Nazis. Tel Aviv has the largest number of buildings in the Bauhaus/International Style of any city in the world. Preservation, documentation, and exhibitions have brought attention to Tel Aviv's collection of 1930s architecture. In 2003, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) proclaimed Tel Aviv's White City a World Cultural Heritage site, as "an outstanding example of new town planning and architecture in the early 20th century." The citation recognized the unique adaptation of modern international architectural trends to the cultural, climatic, and local traditions of the city. Bauhaus Center Tel Aviv organizes regular architectural tours of the city.

Tel Aviv-Yafo (Hebrew: תֵּל־אָבִיב-יָפוֹ, Tēl-ʾĀvīv-Yāfō [tel aˈviv ˈjafo]; Arabic: تَلّ أَبِيب – يَافَا, Tall ʾAbīb-Yāfā), often referred to as just Tel Aviv, is the most populous city in the Gush Dan metropolitan area of Israel. Located on the Israeli Mediterranean coastline and with a population of 460,613, it is the economic and technological center of the country. If East Jerusalem is considered part of Israel, Tel Aviv is the country's second most populous city after Jerusalem; if not, Tel Aviv is the most populous city ahead of West Jerusalem.Tel Aviv is governed by the Tel Aviv-Yafo Municipality, headed by Mayor Ron Huldai, and is home to many foreign embassies. It is a beta+ world city and is ranked 41st in the Global Financial Centres Index. Tel Aviv has the third- or fourth-largest economy and the largest economy per capita in the Middle East. The city currently has the highest cost of living in the world. Tel Aviv receives over 2.5 million international visitors annually. A "party capital" in the Middle East, it has a lively nightlife and 24-hour culture. Tel Aviv has been called The World's Vegan Food Capital, as it possesses the highest per capita population of vegans in the world, with many vegan eateries throughout the city. Tel Aviv is home to Tel Aviv University, the largest university in the country with more than 30,000 students. The city was founded in 1909 by the Yishuv (Jewish residents) as a modern housing estate on the outskirts of the ancient port city of Jaffa, then part of the Mutasarrifate of Jerusalem within the Ottoman Empire. It was at first called 'Ahuzat Bayit' (lit. "House Estate" or "Homestead"), the name of the association which established the neighbourhood. Its name was changed the following year to 'Tel Aviv', after the biblical name Tel Abib adopted by Nahum Sokolow as the title for his Hebrew translation of Theodor Herzl's 1902 novel Altneuland ("Old New Land"). Other Jewish suburbs of Jaffa established before Tel Aviv eventually became part of Tel Aviv, the oldest among them being Neve Tzedek (est. 1886). Tel Aviv was given "township" status within the Jaffa Municipality in 1921, and became independent from Jaffa in 1934. After the 1947–1949 Palestine war Tel Aviv began the municipal annexation of parts of Jaffa, fully unified with Jaffa under the name "Tel Aviv" in April 1950, and was renamed to "Tel Aviv-Yafo" in August 1950.Immigration by mostly Jewish refugees meant that the growth of Tel Aviv soon outpaced that of Jaffa, which had a majority Arab population at the time. Tel Aviv and Jaffa were later merged into a single municipality in 1950, two years after the Israeli Declaration of Independence, which was proclaimed in the city. Tel Aviv's White City, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2003, comprises the world's largest concentration of International Style buildings, including Bauhaus and other related modernist architectural styles.

Rubinstein Building (Hebrew: בית רובינשטיין) is a landmark skyscraper in Tel Aviv, Israel. The building was named after its developer, Rubinstein and Company. It was designed by Freiberger Architects. Under Aryeh Freiberger, construction began in 1998 and was completed in 1999. The building reaches a height of 108.37 meters, and contains 30 floors, with an area of 62,000 square meters, 34,000 of which are used as commercial and office property. The tower is covered entirely with glass windows, with a concave shape to the north-east and a convex shape to the south-west. The ground floor is designed to accommodate an underground railway station. Adjacent to the tower is a nine-story parking garage, and on the tower roof mast are installed antennas which add approximately 10 meters to the building's height.

Lodzia House (Hebrew: בית לודז'יה), also known as HaBayit Ha'adom ("the Red House"), is an historic building located at 43 Nahmani Street in Tel Aviv, Israel.

The Seafood Market attack was a Palestinian shooting and grenade Terrorist attack on the Seafood Market restaurant in Tel Aviv, Israel, on 5 March 2002. Palestinian terrorist Ibrahim Hasouna murdered three Israelis, including a Druze police officer, and wounded 35.The Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigade claimed responsibility for the attack. An Israeli court found Marwan Barghouti, head of Tanzim, guilty of directing this attack, and of directing other killings including the Murder of Georgios Tsibouktzakis .

The Levinstein Tower is a skyscraper in Tel Aviv, Israel. At 125 metres in height, the tower has 35 floors. The tower was designed by Rapoport Architects, and was completed in 2000 drawing inspiration in its design from the Century Tower in the city. Originally, the tower was set to be a 74 metre tall, 17-storey tower, although this changed to a 35 floor tower, with 5 residential storeys at the top, with a total height of 145 metres. These were dropped, however, due to a lack of demand for luxury apartments at the time. Each floor in the tower is 1000 square metres in size, with the ground floor having a double-height 1,500 square metre lobby.

Rothschild Boulevard (Hebrew: שְׂדֵרוֹת רוֹטְשִׁילְד, Sderot Rotshild) is one of the principal streets in the center of Tel Aviv, Israel, beginning in Neve Tzedek at its southwestern edge and running north to Habima Theatre. It is one of the most expensive streets in the city, being one of the city's main tourist attractions. It features a wide, tree-lined central strip with pedestrian and bike lanes.

Tel Aviv Cinematheque (also called: Doron Cinema center) is a cinematheque and movie archive, opened in Tel Aviv on 12 May 1973. The Cinematheque, located at HaArba'a Street 2, has five screening halls . The Cinematheque programming includes Israeli and foreign films and offers private business screenings to help support the enterprise. Sometimes screenings are held for new Israeli films. Film festivals held at the cinematheque include TLVFest, "Doc Aviv" Documentary Film Festival, "Moments of French Cinema", an Australian Film Festival and more. The festivals are supported by groups such as the Tel Aviv Museum of Art. The cinematheque lobby hosts photo exhibitions by Israeli artists. It also publishes a film journal called "Cinematheque". The current building was designed by Israeli Architect Salo Hershman, and was opened in 1989.

Begin Road is a major thoroughfare in Tel Aviv, Israel. It begins at Allenby Street and runs to its northern end which is at Arlozorov Interchange on Ayalon Highway. There is one interchange along Begin Road, Kaplan Interchange, located near Azrieli Center and Tel Aviv HaShalom railway station, with two lanes in each direction passing under Kaplan Street. Another interchange, Ma'ariv Bridge, was demolished on August 21, 2015, as part of the works to build the Carlebach station of Tel Aviv Light Rail. The road is named after Menachem Begin. Before 2001 it was known as Petah Tikva road.

The Tel Aviv gay centre shooting resulted in the deaths of two people and injuries to at least fifteen others at the Tel Aviv branch of the Israeli LGBT Association, at the "Bar-Noar" (Hebrew: בר נוער, "Youth Bar"), on Nahmani Street, on August 1, 2009. A 26-year-old man and a 17-year-old girl were killed. Three deaths were mentioned in earlier reports of the incident but one has since been discounted.Most of the injured were minors; six were in serious condition. The city was subject to a "clampdown" after the attack, and several hundred police launched a manhunt to locate the killer(s). In June 2013, Hagai Felician was charged over the murder, but the police retracted its allegations in March 2014, after revealing its key witness fabricated evidence.The shooting sparked widespread condemnation, with one lawmaker calling it the worst attack against the gay community in Israel's history. The location of the attack— at the heart of what is seen as Israel's most liberal city—resulted in protests by the gay community.As of 2023, the police have yet to apprehend the shooter.

The Orna Porat Children's Theater is a children's repertory theater established in 1970 by Israel Prize winner and actress Orna Porat and Yigal Alon, the Minister of Education at the time. The theater is the oldest of its kind in Israel.The theater is based at the Yaron Yerushalmi hall of the Suzanne Dellal Center for Dance and Theater in Tel Aviv. The theater is a public non-profit organization, and all of its income is used to sustain its activities and advance its various goals. The theater is supported by the Ministry of Education and the Tel Aviv-Yafo Municipality. Its central goal is to expose young audiences to theater, presenting them with an artistic experience, as well as national and universal values through an encounter with art. Every year the theater's repertoire of 20 plays is conducted on stage in front of 400,000 people at festivals, events, and theaters all over Israel and overseas. The theater's educational department organizes “theater days,” encounters with artists and authors, and workshops for children and youth. In 2010, the theater initiated the establishment of Yaron Festival – A World of Theater, which takes place annually during Purim and includes world-renowned plays, workshops, encounters with artists and authors, and more. In 2011 the theater moved to the Ohel Shem building on Balfour Street, Tel Aviv. The current CEO of the theater is Ran Gwetta and the current artistic director is Yaki Mechrez.
