The 1991 PGA Championship was the 73rd PGA Championship, held August 8–11 at Crooked Stick Golf Club in Carmel, Indiana, a suburb north of Indianapolis. John Daly won the first of his two major titles, three strokes ahead of runner-up Bruce Lietzke.Daly, age 25, was the ninth alternate and only got into the field after several others pulled out of the tournament. Nick Price withdrew for the birth of his first child and Daly hired his caddy, Jeff "Squeaky" Medlin. Daly's outgoing personality and "grip it and rip it" style of play made him an instant fan favorite. The PGA Championship was also his first PGA Tour victory.A spectator, Thomas Weaver, died after being struck by lightning during a weather delay in the first round. It was the second fatality at a major championship in 1991. Two months earlier at the U.S. Open in Minnesota, six people were hit by lightning with one fatality. Daly donated $30,000 to Weaver's family for a college fund. Both daughters went on to graduate from college and one is now a doctor.

Micah Newby House, also known as the Newby-Bick House, is a historic home located in Clay Township, Hamilton County, Indiana. Records indicate that the farm was acquired in August, 1871, by Micah Newby from his father, John Henley Newby. Although no precise date of construction is known, Ovid Newby, grandson of Micah Newby, documented that his father, John Absalom Newby, born 1877, was age four when the family finished the house (circa 1880). It is a two-story, nearly symmetrical T-shaped-plan frame home in the vernacular Italianate style. It was restored in the 1980s.: 2 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

Both stations share studios on North Meridian Street (south of I-65) in downtown Indianapolis, while WALV-CD's transmitter is located near Ditch Road and West 96th Street (near I-465) in Carmel. The MeTV programming is mirrored on WTHR's 13.3 subchannel. WALV has been associated with WTHR since it was put on the air in May 1991. Originally simulcasting channel 13 with occasional breaks for specific local and alternate programs, it operated as a secondary station with its own programming known as "27 Alive" from 1994 to 2000. The launch of 27 Alive included several dedicated local newscasts from WTHR. It was converted to the SkyTrak Weather Network, featuring news and weather information, and continued to air this programming until affiliating with Cozi TV in 2013. It is still occasionally used for overflow programming from WTHR.

Indiana University Health North Hospital (originally named Clarian North Medical Center) is a full-service hospital for adults and children. Opened in December 2005, the 170-bed hospital and attached medical office building offer maternity, pediatric, and adult services. The addition will add 88,000 square feet (8,200 m2) of space, as well as provide consolidated oncology services.

The Pyramids are three 11-story, pyramid-shaped office buildings that are part of a 200-acre (810,000 m2) commercial development in the College Park neighborhood area of Indianapolis, Indiana, United States. The structures occupy 40 acres (16 hectares) of land situated next to a 25-acre (10-hectare) lake. They were constructed between 1967 and 1972 by the College Life Insurance Company (now part of Americo Life) using a design by architect Kevin Roche. They are noted for the abstract quality of the opacity of the concrete walls that face the nearby highway and the reflectivity of the glass curtain walls that face the landscaped grounds.

The AOBNMM is one of 18 medical specialty certifying boards of the American Osteopathic Association Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists approved by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA). As of December 2022, over 1000 osteopathic physicians hold active certification with the AOBNMM.The AOBNMM also offers a Certificate of Added Qualification in Sports Medicine.
