Comet (Lincoln Park)

Lincoln Park was a park opened in 1894 by the Union Street Railway Company of New Bedford, Massachusetts, located in North Dartmouth, Massachusetts on the border of Westport, Massachusetts on U.S. Highway 6. Lincoln Park closed in 1987 and remained abandoned and vacant until the Comet roller coaster was torn down on July 11, 2012.

WTKL (91.1 FM) is a radio station in North Dartmouth, Massachusetts. It is an owned-and-operated station of the national K-Love Contemporary Christian network, covering the South Coast of Massachusetts from a tower located on the campus of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Prior to 2006, WTKL was the student-run radio station at the university, when it was known as WUSM and later WSMU-FM; in conjunction with the sign-on of higher-power WUMD 89.3, UMass sold the 91.1 license to the Educational Media Foundation.

The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth (UMass Dartmouth or UMassD) is a public research university in Dartmouth, Massachusetts. The intersections of North Hixville Road and Old Fall River Roads, the historic cemetery, The North Hixville Road Fire Station, Cornell Pond on the Copicut River, Hixville General Convenience Store and The First Church of Hixville define the center of Hixville Village in North Dartmouth, Massachusetts. This area was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991.The term "Hixville" generally refers to the north-northwestern section in North Dartmouth, Massachusetts north of Interstate 195 along North Hixville Road, Hixville Road, Reed Road, Old Fall River Road, Collins Corner Road, and Flag Swamp Roads. The Center of Hixville is located equi-distant, half-way, approximately 5 miles (8.0 km) from the nearby cities of Fall River and New Bedford. The boundaries of Hixville extend to the Westport border to the west, Fall River and Freetown to the North-West and north, the woods between Collins Corner and Flagg Swamp Roads (going south from the Collins Corner/Flagg Swamp Road Intersection) and the woods between the Shingle Island River and Harry M. Currently anchoring the mall are Aldi, Burlington, JCPenney, and Macy's. The mall also features a food court and movie theater. It is managed by the Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust.

Southern New England School of Law (SNESL) was a non-profit law school located in North Dartmouth, Massachusetts that operated from 1981 to 2010. At its closure, its assets were donated to the University of Massachusetts system to become the basis for the University of Massachusetts School of Law.

The University of Massachusetts School of Law (UMass Law) is a public law school in Dartmouth, Massachusetts. The only public law school in Massachusetts, it is the successor to Southern New England School of Law, a private law school that donated its campus and its assets to the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. It is accredited by the American Bar Association and part of the University of Massachusetts system.

The Tucker Farm Historic District is a historic district in Dartmouth, Massachusetts. It encompasses a farm property which has been worked since the 17th century, and several houses, one of which may have a portion dating to the ownership of Henry Tucker, the land's first English settler. It also includes a remnant of what was once a major Native trail and public right of way connecting Plymouth, Massachusetts, and Newport, Rhode Island.The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.
