McCormick Field Raceway

Lewis McCormick Field is a baseball stadium in Asheville, North Carolina. It is the home field of the Asheville Tourists team of Minor League Baseball. As befits the hilly city of Asheville, the ballpark sits on a section of level ground partway up one of the city's hills, providing a picturesque atmosphere. It is the third-oldest ballpark in Minor League Baseball.

Memorial Stadium is a multi-use stadium located in Asheville, North Carolina. The stadium was completed in 1925 to serve as a regional athletic and special events facility. Memorial Stadium is not to be confused with the similarly named Asheville High School Memorial Stadium. Memorial Stadium's entrance was originally intended to serve as a memorial to Western North Carolina's war veterans but the memorial was never entirely completed. Recently plans have been set afoot to complete the memorial. As part of a large scale renovation of the facility which included the installation of a new artificial turf playing surface, there are plans to move a World War II memorial onto the site. Memorial Stadium is currently home to the Asheville Grizzlies - a semi-pro football team in the Central Carolina Football League - and Asheville City Soccer Club, who compete in USL League Two and USL W League. Memorial Stadium sits adjacent to McCormick Field, home of the South Atlantic League's Asheville Tourists.

It is one of a row of granite apartment buildings on the lower end of Biltmore Avenue. It was built in 1905, and is a two-story, uncoursed rubble granite apartment building with a high, slate-shingled mansard roof in an English Queen Anne style. It features three tall chimney stacks on either side elevation.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

Building at 134–136 1/2 Biltmore Avenue is a historic residential building located at Asheville, Buncombe County, North Carolina. It is one of a row of granite apartment buildings on the lower end of Biltmore Avenue. It was built in 1905, and is a two-story, uncoursed rubble granite apartment building with a coursed, rock-faced granite front facade in an English Italianate Revival style. It features a low, hipped roof with three, tall brick chimneys.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

George A. Mears House is a historic home located at Asheville, Buncombe County, North Carolina. It was built about 1885, and is a 2+1⁄2-story, brick Queen Anne style dwelling. It features a number of projecting bass, mansard and garble woofs, and ornamental wraparound verandah.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

It is one of a row of granite apartment buildings on the lower end of Biltmore Avenue. It was built in 1915, and is a two-story, uncoursed rubble granite apartment building covered with a smooth, tan stucco. It features a low, hipped roof, two story porch on either side, and four chimney stacks.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

St. Matthias Episcopal Church is a parish of the Episcopal Church located at Asheville, Buncombe County, North Carolina, in the Diocese of Western North Carolina. Founded in 1867, St. Matthias believes itself to be the oldest African-American congregation in the city.Its historic church, a one-story, cruciform plan brick building with Gothic Revival design influences, was built in 1894–1896. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

Schoenberger Hall was a historic residential building located at Asheville, Buncombe County, North Carolina. It was built in 1887, and was a 2 1/2-story, brick dwelling. It featured an Eastlake-detailed wraparound verandah and a slate-shingled mansard roof. The building was the former home of the Ravenscroft Associate Missions and Training School of the North Carolina Episcopal Diocese and the former residence of the Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Western North Carolina. The building has been demolished. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

It was built in 1929, and is a three-story, eight-bay, Art Deco style reinforced concrete building. It features receding stepped brick panels on either side of the main entrance and a patterned brick parapet.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

Conabeer Chrysler Building is a historic auto showroom located at Asheville, Buncombe County, North Carolina. It was built in 1928, and is a three-story steel frame building faced in orange brick and limestone. It features a tall decorated parapet. The building was erected as a new home for the Conabeer Motor Company, the local Chrysler agency.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.
