EY Plaza, formerly known as Ernst & Young Plaza, is a 534-foot (163 m) tall skyscraper in Los Angeles, California. It was completed in 1985, has 41 floors and is the 18th tallest building in Los Angeles. The tower is currently owned by Brookfield Properties Inc, and was designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP. Even though it is in California, this building was placed in the New York skyline in the movie The Day After Tomorrow. Upon completion in 1985, this building stood as financial giant Citicorp's, later Citigroup, California headquarters.

777 Tower (originally known as Citicorp Center and also known as Pelli Tower) is a 221 m (725 ft), 52-story high-rise office building designed by César Pelli located at 777 South Figueroa Street in the Financial District of Downtown Los Angeles, California. Developed in 1991 by South Figueroa Plaza Associates as Citicorp Plaza, the building spans approximately 1,025,000 sq ft (95,200 m2) and has a three-story Italian marble lobby. The exterior is clad with sculpted white metal and glass. The tower is adjacent to the FIGat7th shopping center, which opened in 1986 as "Seventh Market Place" and had two department stores: Bullock's and May Co. It was purchased from Maguire Properties by owner Brookfield Office Properties.A shot of the tower under construction can be seen looking from 12th street in the 1989 comedy Police Academy 6: City Under Siege. It also plays a role in the finale to the 2001 film Swordfish, where a Skyhook helicopter deposits a bus full of hostages on the helipad.

The Beaudry is a residential tower in downtown Los Angeles, California that is located within FIGat7th shopping mall. It was developed by Brookfield Properties and designed by Marmol Radziner. The tower is named after former 19th century Los Angeles mayor, Prudent Beaudry.

Figueroa Eight is a 530 foot (160 m)-tall residential skyscraper under construction in Downtown Los Angeles, California. Figueroa Eight is owned by Japanese real estate developer Mitsui Fudosan. The building broke ground in February 2020 and topped out in October 2022. Figueroa Eight is one of the tallest buildings in Los Angeles.

Wilshire Grand Center is a 1,100-foot (335.3 m) skyscraper in the financial district of downtown Los Angeles, California, occupying the entire city block between Wilshire Boulevard and 7th, Figueroa, and Francisco streets. Completed in 2017, it is the tallest building west of Chicago. Its height surpasses L.A.'s U.S. Bank Tower by 82 ft (25 m).The building is part of a mixed-use hotel, retail, observation decks, shopping mall, and office complex. The development of the complex is estimated to cost $1.2 billion. The Wilshire Grand Center includes 67,000 square feet (6,225 m2) of retail, 677,000 square feet (62,895 m2) of Class A office space, and the 889-room InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown. The hotel features a 70th floor Sky Lobby, state-of-the-art fitness center, expansive pool deck and several restaurants including a high-end steakhouse and Spire 73 – the tallest open-air bar in the Western Hemisphere.

LA Grand Hotel is a proposed super tall tower by Shenzhen World Group in Los Angeles, California. The new tower will rise in Downtown Los Angeles's Bunker Hill neighborhood, one block west of the currently under-construction Grand Av Arts/Bunker Hill Metro Rail station. It is proposed to house 242 condominiums, 559 hotel rooms, and 28,700 square feet of retail along Figueroa St. The proposed complex is currently in the design/funding process. No timeline has been announced.The Tower development was placed on hold in 2019 due to corruption allegations between the developer and council member Jose Huizar. The US Attorney's office has filed charges described in public legal papers, accusing the developer to giving $500,000 to an unnamed person.

Angels Landing is a proposed development complex in Downtown Los Angeles, California, consisting of two regular high-rise buildings.At the southeast corner of the site is a portal for the Pershing Square station serving the Metro B Line (Red) and the Metro D Line (Purple). The site is next to Angels Flight and the adjacent public staircase, across the street from Grand Central Market and near Pershing Square. The 2.2-acre (0.89 ha) sloping site in the Bunker Hill neighborhood is owned by the City of Los Angeles. The site was the former Angels Knoll Park, made popular by the film 500 Days of Summer in 2009.

The landmark Fine Arts Building is located at 811 West 7th Street in Downtown Los Angeles, California. Also known as the Global Marine House, it was declared a historic cultural monument in 1974.

Figueroa at Wilshire, formerly Sanwa Bank Plaza, is a 53-storey, 218.5 m (717 ft) skyscraper in Los Angeles, California, United States. It is the eighth-tallest building in Los Angeles. It was designed by Albert C. Martin & Associates, and developed by Hines Interests Limited Partnership. It won the Rose Award for "Outstanding New Office Building" in 1991. The tower was constructed from 1988 to 1990 on the site of the former St. Paul's Episcopal Cathedral.

MCI Center is a 126.3 m (414 ft) skyscraper in downtown Los Angeles, California, United States. It was completed in November, 1973 and has 33 floors. It is 32nd tallest building in Los Angeles. The Class A building has 63,032 m2 (678,470 sq ft) of office space with a glass atrium and courtyard. On March 21, 2005 Jamison Properties bought the building for $150 per square foot totaling $101,770,500. This purchase included 925 West Eighth Street (originally known as the "Broadway Plaza" which became known as Macy's Plaza) and the 3,000 space parking garage. In 2013, the Ratkovich Company acquired the property, and after a redesign by Johnson Fain Architects, renamed the plaza “The Bloc.” Originally known for the fortress-like facade, the ground level was opened up and made more pedestrian friendly by removing the original brick walls and the glass atrium. The redevelopment features a below grade open public plaza that directly connects to the 7th Street / Metro Center Station. This is the first direct underground connection of a private development to a subway station on Metro's system. Metrolink at one time had its headquarters in the MCI Center. By 2000, Metrolink had expanded its lease in the MCI Center by 6,700 square feet (620 m2), giving the agency a total of around 40,000 square feet (3,700 m2) of space. In June 2011, Metrolink moved its headquarters to the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (LACMTA) headquarters at 1 Gateway Plaza at Los Angeles Union Station.The offices of La Opinión are in Suites 3000 and 3100, while ImpreMedia Digital has its offices in Suite 3000.

7th Street/Metro Center station is an underground light rail and rapid transit (known locally as a subway) station on the A Line, B Line, D Line and E Line of the Los Angeles Metro Rail system. The station also has street level stops for the J Line of the Los Angeles Metro Busway system. The station is located under 7th Street, after which the station is named, at its intersections with Figueroa, Flower and Hope Streets. This station is the current northern and eastern terminus for the A Line and E Line, respectively. Both lines are expected to be extended in 2022 as part of the Regional Connector project. It is officially named 7th Street/Metro Center/Julian Dixon station after former U.S. Rep. Julian Dixon, who had pivotal role in obtaining the federal funding that enabled construction of the Metro Rail system.

The Bloc (stylized as THE BLOC), formerly Macy's Plaza and Broadway Plaza, is an open-air shopping center in downtown Los Angeles at 700 South Flower Street, in the Financial District. Its tenants include the downtown Los Angeles Macy's store, LA Fitness, Nordstrom Local, UNIQLO and the Sheraton Grand Los Angeles hotel. The shopping center has its own entrance to 7th Street/Metro Center station of the Los Angeles Metro system.
