His Majesty's Theatre, Aberdeen

Schoolhill Railway Station was a railway station in the city of Aberdeen, Scotland. The station was closed on 5 April 1937 with the withdrawal of the suburban rail service. The few remains of the station lie adjacent to His Majesty's Theatre's car park. The station formed part of the Denburn Valley Line jointly administered by the Great North of Scotland Railway and Caledonian Railway.

The William Wallace Statue was erected 1888 in Aberdeen, Scotland, and depicts Sir William Wallace. Sculpted by William Grant Stevenson, the statue is positioned opposite His Majesty's Theatre and across from Union Terrace Gardens. "It was paid for with funds left for the purpose by John Steill of 38 Grange Road in Edinburgh, the son of James Steill sometime of Easter Baldowrie in Angus." It is a category B listed building.The statue bears this inscription: I tell you a truth, liberty is the best of all things, my son, never live under any slavish bond.

County Buildings is a municipal structure in Union Terrace, Aberdeen, Scotland. The structure, which was the headquarters of Aberdeenshire County Council and was later converted for commercial use as Denburn House, comprises three separate structures all of which are Category B listed buildings.

The Central Library of Aberdeen in Scotland is located on Rosemount Viaduct and is the main library for the city.

Woolmanhill Hospital was a health facility in the city centre of Aberdeen, Scotland. It was the original Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, a complex which opened in 1749 and was replaced by new facility at Foresterhill in 1936. After services transferred to Aberdeen Community Health and Care Village, the Foresterhill site and Woodend Hospital, the Woolmanhill Hospital closed in April 2017. The complex is centred on a neo-classical main block with later nineteenth century buildings to the rear. Unusually, it has remained largely complete, with later building having taken place at Foresterhill. It was managed by NHS Grampian.

The Triple Kirks in Aberdeen, Scotland were built at the time of the Disruption of 1843 when the Free Church of Scotland (the Free Kirk) split from the Church of Scotland (the Kirk). The three churches were all part of a single building with a tall spire but they housed separate congregations. The East Free Kirk was completed 1843 followed by the West Free Kirk and South Free Kirk early the following year. From about 1966 the building progressively fell into disuse and became mostly ruinous but with the spire remaining.

The Cathedral Church of St Mary of the Assumption, usually known as St Mary's Cathedral, is a cathedral of the Roman Catholic Church in the city of Aberdeen, Scotland. It is the home of the see of the Bishop of Aberdeen, who is the ordinary of the Diocese of Aberdeen in the Province of St Andrews & Edinburgh. It stands at 20 Huntly Street in Aberdeen.

The Belmont Cinema is an arthouse cinema on Belmont Street, Aberdeen, Scotland and is the last remaining independent cinema in the city. The cinema building is the property of Aberdeen City Council and is temporarily closed following the collapse of its former operator, the Centre for the Moving Image (CMI), in 2022. Belmont Community Cinema Ltd were named by Aberdeen City Council as preferred operator for the site in September 2023, with an expected reopening date of late 2024. The building was open as part of Aberdeen's 2024 Doors Open Day on 7 and 8 September.

The North East of Scotland Music School is an independent charitable foundation established in Aberdeen, Scotland by the late Dorothy Hately MBE in 1975 with the encouragement of Lady Aberdeen. Its aim is to provide advanced tuition not normally available within the statutory sector by bringing internationally recognised teachers to Aberdeen on a regular basis. Entry to the school is by audition on the basis of musical ability regardless of age but limited to persons living in Scotland.The school is financed through a mixture of corporate sponsorship, donations from trusts and individuals, and volunteer fund-raising. Students pay their own (subsidised) fees but competitive scholarships are awarded annually on a balance of musical potential and financial need. Patrons include Murray McLachlan, Eileen Croxford Parkhouse, Evelyn Glennie, Fiona Kennedy, Paul Mealor, Lisa Milne and Neil Mackie.

Union Terrace is a single carriageway street in the city centre of Aberdeen. At the south end, it has a junction with Union Street, at Union Bridge and Bridge Street; and at the north end, it has a junction with Rosemount Viaduct, with the Central Library and His Majesty's Theatre on that street. The street hosts the Aberdeen International Market regularly.Union Terrace Gardens are in the Denburn Valley, adjacent to Union Terrace. There are currently plans to enhance the gardens, with one to put an art centre which will blend with the landscape, the other to create a civic square levelling the gardens and bringing them up to street level. There is also a statue of Robert Burns opposite the Caledonian Hotel. A granite statue of Edward VII was installed at the junction of Union Terrace with Union Street. It was removed in March 2021 as part of the redevelopment of Union Terrace Gardens.
