Codnor Castle is a ruined 13th-century castle in Derbyshire, England. The land around Codnor came under the jurisdiction of William Peverel after the Norman conquest. The building is registered as a Scheduled Ancient Monument a Grade II Listed Building and is officially a Building at Risk.

St Andrew's Church is the parish church of Langley Mill in Derbyshire, England. It was built in 1911 by J S Brocklesby and was dedicated to Saint Andrew in 1912 by the Bishop of Southwell. In 1926, the church became part of the Diocese of Derby. The church is an active place of worship and community hub. It was designated a Grade II listed building in 1988 by Historic England.

Langley Mill railway station was a railway station which served the village of Langley Mill in Derbyshire, England. It was opened in 1895 by the Midland Railway on its branch between Heanor Junction on the Erewash Valley Line and Ripley. There was already a station on the Erewash Line, known as Langley Mill and Eastwood, and a Great Northern station called Eastwood and Langley Mill, which opened in 1847 and 1876 respectively. Because this branch station had no passenger connection to the earlier one, it was regarded by the railway as a separate station and was even shown as such on Ordnance Survey maps even though the platforms were adjacent.

The station is 12 miles (19 km) north of Nottingham. The station lies between Nottingham and Sheffield and is managed by East Midlands Railway.

Heanor railway station was a railway station which served the town of Heanor in Derbyshire, England. It was opened in 1890 by the Midland Railway on its branch between Langley Mill (Branch) railway station on the Erewash Valley Line and Ripley There was a second station also named Heanor on the branch from Ilkeston of the Great Northern Railway Derbyshire Extension line. A Midland timetable in July 1922 noted "nearly 1 mile to Great Northern Station"

Heanor and Loscoe is a civil parish within the Amber Valley district, which is in the county of Derbyshire, England. Mainly built up with rural fringes, its population was 17,251 residents in the 2011 census. The parish is 120 miles (190 km) north west of London, 10 miles (16 km) north east of the county city of Derby, and contains the market town of Heanor along with other areas. It shares a boundary with the parishes of Aldercar and Langley Mill, Codnor, Denby, Shipley and Smalley.

Codnor Park and Selston railway station was a former railway station to serve the villages of Codnor Park and Selston on the border between Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire and was actually in Jacksdale. In some timetables it was listed as Codnor Park and Selston for Ironville and Jacksdale. It was opened by the Great Northern Railway (Great Britain) on its Derbyshire Extension in 1875-6 and closed in 1963.It lay on the branch from Awsworth Junction, to Pinxton, Codnor Park being important for an ironworks belonging to the Butterley Company. Codnor Park and Ironville railway station opened nearby in 1847 on the Midland Railway Erewash Valley Line. The tracks are still in place today; however, the line is not in use. They can be seen from trains running between Langley Mill and Alfreton
