Bettendorf–Washington School

The Joseph W. Bettendorf House is a historic building located in Bettendorf, Iowa, United States. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1983. Built as a private home, the building now houses a private school named Rivermont Collegiate.

Rivermont Collegiate, formerly St. Katharine's/St. Mark's School, is a nonsectarian, independent, multicultural, college preparatory school for students two years old through twelfth grade, located in the Quad Cities in Bettendorf, Iowa, in the United States. Rivermont Collegiate is a member of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS), specifically the Independent Schools Association of the Central States (ISACS), the College Entrance Examination Board (CEEB), Council for Advance and Support of Education (CASE), and the National Honor Society (NHS). The school currently resides on the former property of Joseph Bettendorf, namesake of the city.

The Quad Cities Waterfront Convention Center is a convention center located in Bettendorf, Iowa, United States. The name for the facility in the development stages was the Bettendorf Events Center. A ground breaking ceremony for the center was held on October 6, 2006. Construction was delayed in late 2006 because the project was $2 million over budget and the Isle of Capri, who was to operate the facility for the city, was completing a marketing study. Once construction got underway it was completed in early 2009. The facility contains 24,000 sq ft (2,200 m2) of space, which includes a 15,000 sq ft (1,400 m2) ballroom and eight private meeting rooms. The convention center is owned by the city of Bettendorf and is operated by the Isle of Capri Casino & Hotel, which is connected by way of a skywalk.

Regina Coeli Monastery is an historic building located in Bettendorf, Iowa, United States. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1994. The building currently houses an addictions rehabilitation facility called The Abbey Center. The Discalced Carmelite nuns who built the building relocated to a new monastery in Eldridge, Iowa in 1975. The monastery was originally established in Davenport, Iowa by the Rt. Rev. James Davis of the Catholic Diocese of Davenport.

The Old Moline Post Office is a former post office building located at 1800 River Drive in Moline, Illinois. Built in 1910 it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as part of the Moline Downtown Commercial Historic District. Built in 1910 at a cost of $157,000, it operated as a post office only until 1935, when an increase in mail volume necessitated a new office constructed one block away at 514 17th Street.

LeClaire Hotel is an historic building located in downtown Moline, Illinois, United States. It was named a Moline Historic Landmark in 1993, and it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994. The building now houses apartments and is known as the LeClaire Apartments.

The Moline Downtown Commercial Historic District is a nationally recognized historic district located in Moline, Illinois, United States. Centered on 5th Avenue, it is roughly bounded by 12th Street to 18th Street, 4th Avenue to 7th Avenue. The distinct covers 33-acre (0.13 km2) and includes 114 buildings. One hundred of the buildings contribute to the significance of the district because they retain their historic and architectural integrity and reflect the character of the historic downtown.

Rock Island National Cemetery is a United States National Cemetery located within Rock Island Arsenal near the city of Rock Island, Illinois. Administered by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs, it encompasses 66 acres (27 ha), and as of the end of 2006, had 24,525 interments. The cemetery is also nearing compliance with the National Shrine guidelines, due to its use of college students during the summer to reset and realign stones. When looking from any one stone there should be seven lines visible and all should be straight.

Duck Creek Park and Golf Course is located on the east side of Davenport, Iowa, United States. The property was originally a private arboretum south of Duck Creek. It was developed in the 1930s as a public works project during the Great Depression. The 211-acre (0.85 km2) park features picnic shelters, tennis courts, playground, a public golf course and Duck Creek Lodge. The Stampe Lilac Garden and Gazebo is a popular location for weddings. The park connects with the Duck Creek Parkway. The golf course is an 18-hole, par 70 course. It is a 140-acre (0.57 km2) course and is 5,759-yard (5,266 m) long. The course features mature trees and rolling hills. An automatic drainage system was installed in 1994.

Lagomarcino's is a restaurant in Moline, Illinois, United States. The soda fountain and chocolate shop was established by the Lagomarcino family in 1908. The business was named one of America's Classics by the James Beard Foundation Awards in 2006.

The TaxSlayer Center, formerly known as The MARK of the Quad Cities and the iWireless Center, is a 12,000-seat multi-purpose arena located in Moline, Illinois. The facility opened in May 1993, under the name The MARK of the Quad Cities with the singer Neil Diamond as the opening act. The facility was renamed as the TaxSlayer Center on October 1, 2017. It is the home to the revived Quad City Steamwheelers of the Indoor Football League and the Quad City Storm in the Southern Professional Hockey League.
