Marsac station (Dordogne)

Marsac-sur-l'Isle (French pronunciation: [maʁsak syʁ lil], literally Marsac on the Isle; Occitan: Marsac d'Eila) is a commune in the Dordogne department in Nouvelle-Aquitaine in southwestern France.

Chancelade (French pronunciation: [ʃɑ̃slad]; Occitan: Chancelada) is a commune in the Dordogne department in Nouvelle-Aquitaine in southwestern France. The village is the site of Chancelade Abbey. The so-called "Chancelade man" was found in the nearby Raymonden rock shelter in 1888, the skeleton of an approximately 60-year-old male who was buried there in the Magdalenian, roughly 15,000 years ago.

Chancelade Abbey (French: Abbaye Notre-Dame de Chancelade) is an Augustinian monastery in Chancelade in the Dordogne. It was founded in 1129. The abbey was damaged by English troops in the 14th century during the Hundred Years' War and again by Protestants in the 16th century during the French Wars of Religion. Alain de Solminihac (beatified in 1981 by John Paul II) had the abbey restored in 1623. He was consecrated abbot of Chancelade by Urban VIII in 1636. Economist Nicolas Baudeau taught theology at the abbey. A contemporary monastic community is now in occupation of some buildings and in 2016 completed a new community house on the site.

Raymonden is a prehistoric cave near Chancelade in the French département Dordogne. The cave was inhabited during the Upper Paleolithic and contained, besides many artefacts, a human skeleton.

Coulounieix-Chamiers (French pronunciation: [kulunjɛ ʃamje]; Occitan: Colonhés e Champs Niers) is a commune in the Dordogne department in Nouvelle-Aquitaine in southwestern France. It is a suburb of Périgueux.

La Cave is a former railway station in La Cave, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France. The station is located on the Coutras - Tulle railway line. The station was served by TER (local) services operated by SNCF on the line between Bordeaux and Périgueux. It was closed in 2017.

Stade Francis-Rongiéras is a multi-purpose stadium in Périgueux, France that is home to rugby union club CA Périgueux. It has a capacity of maximum capacity of 10,000 and opened in 1976. The stadium is named after Francis Rongiéras, a former captain of CA Périgueux that died in 1991 at the age of 33. It has a regular capacity of 6352.
