Ashperton

Ashperton railway station was a railway station serving the village of Ashperton in Herefordshire, England. It was located on what is now known as the Cotswold Line.

Canon Frome is a hamlet and small rural parish on the River Frome, 5 miles northwest of Ledbury, Herefordshire, England with a population of 139. Its most notable feature is Canon Frome Court which is a Grade II listed large red brick country house. The house was originally a sixteenth century moated manor house but was extensively rebuilt, incorporating earlier parts of the building, in 1786 and again in 1868. It was for 300 years the ancestral home of the Hopton family. It now forms a cohousing community.

Trumpet or The Trumpet is a village in Herefordshire, England. The village is named after the timber-framed Trumpet Inn. The inn is located at a major crossroads of the A438 and A417/A4172 from where: the City of Hereford is 18 km (11 mi) to the west on the A438 Ledbury is 7 km (4.3 mi) to the east on the A438 Leominster is 28 km (17 mi) to the northwest initially on the A417 Gloucester is 32 km (20 mi) to the southeast initially on the A4172The half-timbered inn is said to be some 800 years old and so named from the obligation of coaches that passed by to blow their coach horns. The crossing must have been an important intersection of the Gloucester to Leominster and Tewkesbury to Hereford roads. Local agriculture includes the growing of hops and cider apples.

The River Frome flows along the parish's southern boundary. The Church of St Lawrence, dating from its 14th-century rebuilding of an earlier church, is a Grade I listed building.

Pixley Berries is a juice ingredient supplier to bottlers, packers and brand owners throughout the UK and also for export. There is a local news publication the "Cider Press". The surrounding lanes and land are peaceful and not heavily travelled by heavy goods vehicles, there are no industrial estates. No Pixley family member currently lives in Pixley or Herefordshire. William Pixley left during the Catholic Emancipation.
