St Margaret's Church, Abbotsley

Abbotsley is a village and civil parish within the Huntingdonshire district of Cambridgeshire, England. It is three miles from St Neots and 14 miles from the county town of Cambridge. At the time of the 2001 census, the resident population was 425 people living in 164 households. increasing to a population of 446 at the 2011 Census.

Weaveley and Sand Woods is a 62.0-hectare (153-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest north of Gamlingay in Cambridgeshire.This site has an unusually varied geology, with areas of free-draining Lower Greensand, poorly drained boulder clay and Jurassic clays. The wood is of ancient origin, and tree species include pedunculate oak and coppiced ash and field maple. Hazel is dominant in the shrub layer. There are uncommon flowers such as herb-paris, butterfly orchid and pignut.The site is private land with no public access.

Gamlingay Cinques is a 3.4-hectare (8.4-acre) nature reserve in Gamlingay in Cambridgeshire. It is managed by the Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire.This site is on dry sandy soil, which is an unusual habitat in the county. Grazing by sheep helps to restore the acid grassland and prevent encroachment by woodland and scrub. flora include slender St John's wort, harebell and devil's bit scabious.There is access from Drove Road and The Cinques. The area where the nature reserve is located is sometimes called Gamlingay Cinques.

Eynesbury Hardwicke is a former civil parish, now in the parishes of Abbotsley and St Neots, in the Huntingdonshire part of Cambridgeshire, England. At the time of the 2001 census, the parish had a population of 1,124.Eynesbury Hardwicke was historically part of Eynesbury parish. That parish was split in two on 1 April 1895; the village of Eynesbury was incorporated into the town of St Neots. Eynesbury Hardwicke parish was formed from the remaining 2,641 acres (10.7 km2) of countryside.Caldecote Manor, Eynesbury Hardwicke House and the site of an abandoned village, Weald, are in the former parish. It did not contain a parish church or settlement—though by the time of its dissolution Eynesbury had expanded into the parish—but it did have a parish council.The civil parish was abolished on 1 April 2010 and the area divided between Abbotsley and St Neots.

Gamlingay Wood is a 48.4-hectare (120-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) north of Gamlingay in Cambridgeshire. It is managed by the Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire.This is ancient ash/maple woodland on sandy loam soil, an unusual habitat in lowland England. Ground flora include dog's mercury, yellow archangel, wood anemone and the nationally restricted oxlip. The flora is diverse due to the varied soils, and there are hundreds of species of mushrooms and toadstools. Birds include barn owls, garden warblers and blue tits. The 70-hectare (170-acre) Wildlife Trust site includes Sugley Wood, which is not part of the SSSI.There is access from Gamlingay Road and by a footpath from Gamlingay village.

Tetworth lies approximately 12 miles (19 km)south of Huntingdon, near Waresley south of St Neots. Tetworth is situated within Huntingdonshire which is a non-metropolitan district of Cambridgeshire as well as being a historic county of United Kingdom. In 2001 the parish had a population of 45.

Gamlingay is a village and civil parish in the South Cambridgeshire district of Cambridgeshire, England about 14 miles (23 km) west southwest of the county town of Cambridge. The 2011 census gives the village's population as 3,247 and the civil parish's as 3,568.In addition to Gamlingay village, the parish includes the outlying areas of Gamlingay Cinques, Gamlingay Great Heath and Little Heath.

Waresley is a village and former civil parish, now in the parish of Waresley-cum-Tetworth, in Cambridgeshire, England. Waresley lies approximately 11 miles (18 km) south of Huntingdon and 5 miles (8 km) south-east of the town of St Neots. Waresley is situated within Huntingdonshire which is a non-metropolitan district of Cambridgeshire as well as being a historic county of England. At the time of the 2001 census, the population of Waresley parish was 293. At the time of the 2011 Census the population was included in the Civil Parish of Little Gransden.

Croxton is a village and civil parish about 13 miles (21 km) west of Cambridge in South Cambridgeshire, England. In 2001, the resident population was 163 people, falling slightly to 160 at the 2011 Census. Croxton Park is to the south of the current village and contains a large house and parkland.

The Church of St Mary the Virgin is the parish church for the village of Gamlingay in Cambridgeshire and is dedicated to St Mary the Virgin. Gamlingay is part of the ecclesiastical parish of Gamlingay with Hatley St George and East Hatley. The church is mainly 13th-century with extensive rebuilding in the 14th and 15th centuries. It has been a Grade I listed building since 1967 and comes under the St Neots Deanery in the Diocese of Ely. Nikolaus Pevsner in 1954 described the church as "... the most impressive church in this part of the county."

Gamlingay Village College was a middle school with academy status located in Gamlingay, Cambridgeshire, England. It was the only middle school in Cambridgeshire. From 2012 to 2017 the school formed part of Stratton Education Trust which also includes Stratton Upper School in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire. On 1 September 2017 the school was transferred to The Cam Academy Trust who also run Gamlingay First School, the only other school in Gamlingay. Lionel Fanthorpe the television presenter, author and lecturer, was based at the college as a Further Education Tutor from 1967 to 1969.

Wintringham is a community in the civil parish of St Neots, Cambridgeshire, England. It is located on the eastern side of the town, east of the East Coast main line and next to the A428 road. The site of Wintringham was previously part of the Eynesbury Hardwicke parish. Wintringham is currently under development. When complete, it is expected to have 2800 houses. Education is provided by Wintringham Primary Academy, which opened in 2018.
