Camberwell Grammar School

The City of Boroondara () is a local government area in Victoria, Australia. It is located in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. It was formed in June 1994 from the amalgamation of the Cities of Kew, Camberwell and Hawthorn.It has an area of 60 km2 (23.2 sq mi). In June 2018 the City had a population of 181,289. Boroondara was rated ninth of 590 Australian local government areas in the BankWest Quality of Life Index 2008, and first in a 2013 Victoria-wide community satisfaction survey.

Deepdene is a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 9 km east from Melbourne's Central Business District, located within the City of Boroondara local government area. Deepdene recorded a population of 2,101 at the 2021 census.Formerly a neighbourhood within the suburb of Balwyn, the Office of Geographic Names officially recognised Deepdene as a bounded locality in April 2010. A proposal to extend the suburb boundaries east to Balwyn Road and north to Belmore Road was voted down by Boroondara Council in April 2014.

Roystead Railway Station was a railway station on the Outer Circle railway line, in the suburb of Canterbury, in Melbourne, Australia. It was opened on 14 May 1900, as "Stanley", to serve passengers on the so-called Deepdene Dasher shuttle service. This section of the line was in a cutting, and the station, with a single platform on the west side, was located south of a bridge, with red brick abutments and a green-painted iron superstructure, which took Mont Albert Road over the railway. Originally named after the adjacent Stanley Grove, the name was altered to "Balwyn" in 1902, and finally to Roystead in September 1923, after the white, Victorian style house nearby, which is now used by Camberwell Grammar, a private boys' school. The station closed on 9 October 1927, along with the passenger service, but goods trains to East Kew railway station passed through the site until 1943.

Shenley was a railway station on the Outer Circle railway line located in the suburb of Canterbury, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. It was located immediately to the north of the Canterbury Road overbridge. Opened on 24 March 1891, it had two side platforms on a loop, with the main platform located on the east side of the line. The station was closed with the rest of the Outer Circle on 12 April 1893, but was reopened on 14 May 1900, to serve passengers on the so-called Deepdene Dasher shuttle service. After reopening it only had one track and a platform on the east side of the line. The station was finally closed on 9 October 1927, along with the passenger service, but goods trains to East Kew railway station passed through the site until 1943. A junction existed 200 yards (180 m) to the south of the station, with the main line going to Riversdale railway station and the loop line towards Canterbury station on the Lilydale railway line. This connection was only open between 15 March 1892 and 12 April 1893. An 18-lever frame was provided at the Lilydale line connection, later reduced to 16 levers. In 1911 a spoil siding was constructed north of Shenley, between the Canterbury and Mont Albert Road road overbridges. Earth fill obtained by widening the cutting at that point was used in the regrading of the Lilydale line.

Deepdene was a railway station on the Outer Circle railway line, located in the suburb of Balwyn, Melbourne, Australia. Located between Abercrombie Street and Whitehorse Road, it was opened on 24 March 1891, along with the line though it, and was named after the adjacent Deepdene House. There was a crossing loop on the single track, with two side platforms. A station building was situated on the east platform.: 91  The loop was removed after the initial closure, but replaced on reopening. For a time, the station was also open for goods.Deepedene station was first closed, along with the line, on 12 April 1893. However, it reopened on 14 May 1900, becoming the terminus of the reopened section of the Outer Circle line from Riversdale station. It was served by what became known, ironically, as the Deepdene Dasher, a shuttle service from Riversdale, consisting of one or two "American-style" carriages hauled by a steam locomotive.: 62  The line was reopened beyond Deepdene on 11 February 1925, to allow a goods service to be run to East Kew station. In the 1920s, almost all Melbourne suburban lines were electrified, but the lack of traffic on the Deepdene line meant that it was excluded from the electrification program. The Deepdene Dasher became one of the last steam-hauled passenger services in suburban Melbourne. On 15 August 1926, the final steam-hauled Deepdene Dasher ran, being replaced next day by two AEC railmotors coupled back to back.: 63  The passenger service was withdrawn on 9 October 1927, and the station closed to traffic, with the train being replaced by a bus service from East Camberwell station to Deepdene. The station building was destroyed by fire in 1927, which was believed to have been caused by a swagman. The former departmental residence, which was located alongside the Whitehorse Road level crossing, was demolished in 1938. Until 1943, goods services to East Kew continued to pass through the site of Deepdene station.

The Division of Kooyong is an Australian Electoral Division for the Australian House of Representatives in the state of Victoria, which covers an area of approximately 59 km2 (23 sq mi) in the inner-east suburbs of Melbourne. It is currently based on Kew, and also includes Balwyn, Canterbury, Deepdene, Hawthorn, Mont Albert and Mont Albert North; and parts of Camberwell, Glen Iris, Hawthorn East and Surrey Hills. Kooyong is a largely white-collar electorate. According to the 2016 census, 46.8% of electors hold a Bachelor's Degree, more than twice the national average.After the 2022 election, teal independent Monique Ryan became the member for the electorate, unseating former Liberal deputy leader and Treasurer Josh Frydenberg. She is both the first woman and the first non-Liberal Party candidate to win the seat since the party's inception in 1944, as well as the first member to unseat an incumbent in Kooyong since 1922.

Founded in 1920 in the hall of St Mark's Church in Camberwell, the school welcomes students of all cultures and currently caters for 820 students from Early learning to Year 12. Balwyn () is a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 10 km east of Melbourne's Central Business District, located within the City of Boroondara local government area. Balwyn recorded a population of 13,495 at the 2021 census.Whitehorse Road runs east–west along the ridgeline through the centre of Balwyn. Balwyn Road runs north–south from Koonung Creek Reserve (adjacent to the Eastern Freeway) to Canterbury Road. The south western part of Balwyn was excised as the city of Deepdene in 2010. Balwyn is one of Victoria's most exclusive and affluent suburbs, regularly ranking in the state's top 10 most expensive suburbs.
