Dülkener Schöppenmarkt

Dülken is a town located in the North Rhine-Westphalia state of Germany. It has a population of about 20,000. It is a borough of the municipality of Viersen. It received its town charter in 1364 thus being the oldest part of the municipality of Viersen. It lies in the administrative region of Düsseldorf. The river Nette having its source underground in the middle of the town rises near the town. The town motto is, "Gloria tibi Duelken", or "Glory to you, Duelken".

The Bismarck Tower located in Viersen (North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany) was erected in honour of the chancellor Otto von Bismarck and has since become an icon of the city of Viersen.

Hostert is a residential area in the municipality of Schwalmtal, in the German county of Viersen. In 1970, it merged with Waldniel, 2.5 km further west, to form the municipality of Schwalmtal. It lies on the state road (Landstraße) from Schwalmtal to Gladbach. To the south it borders on the A 52 motorway. Linguistically Hostert means Hofstatt ("farmstead"). The settlement includes the complex of St. Josefsheim, built in 1909. After being built as a Franciscan priory, the monks were forced out by the Nazi regime and it was used as part of their child euthanasia programme. After the war it became a British military boarding school, Kent School, Hostert. Since that closed in 1993, the site has stood empty.

Kent School was a British secondary school in Germany, with boarding facilities, for the children of military personnel. It was located near the military complex at JHQ Rheindahlen, at Hostert, near Mönchengladbach. The school operated from 1963 until 1986 when it was amalgamated with Queens School, Rheindahlen, to become Windsor School. It was one of several secondary schools in Germany operated by the Service Children's Education organization.

The Festhalle Viersen (Festival Hall Viersen) is a performance space in Viersen, a town located in the Lower Rhine region of Germany. It is well known for its theater and concert programme and is also the annual venue of the UMB World Three-cushion Championship of national teams as well as of the annual international Jazz Festival.

Städtische Galerie im Park Viersen is the municipal art gallery of Viersen in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It has a collection of graphic reproductions. The gallery is located in an old town house, surrounded by a park with huge old trees housing the Viersen sculpture collection.

Süchteln is a borough (Stadtbezirk) of Viersen, a town which is the centre of the Kreis of Viersen in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Süchteln was formerly an independent town; the Catholic parish church of St Clement is at its centre. The church was built in 1481 and has a well preserved tower 73 metres tall.
