The Broadway Theatre is an art film and performance theatre located on Broadway Avenue in the Nutana neighborhood of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. The theatre is Canada's only community-owned non-profit repertory cinema.

Gustin House is a municipal and provincial designated historic building located in the Nutana neighborhood of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. Trounce House, also a historic building, is located in the backyard of the Gustin House property. Gustin House is a 1920s style residential home with a special piano studio that connects to the main living room by sliding glass doors, permitting the use of the combined space for performances. In 1928 a back extension was constructed permitting a second rear piano studio to be added, the first remaining in the living room at the front of the house inside the veranda, with a library between the rooms. Dr Gustin's summer-class students also used the piano in Grace-Westminster United Church across the street at the corner of Eastlake Avenue—Westminster Church on 12th Street having closed in the mid-1960s. Built for Dr. Lyell Gustin (1895–1988), pianist and music teacher, the space was used to teach amateur and professional musicians over a period of 70 years. Between some 357 of the students taught by Lyell Gustin over 465 diplomas from Canadian and English music examining boards were awarded.In 1988, after the death of Lyell Gustin, the house was left to the University of Saskatchewan. Initially the university only intended to preserve the two Steinway pianos and portraits as a memorial. However, the university was persuaded to sell the building and its other contents to one of his former students, Lloyd Rodwell, who donated the assets to the Gustin/Trounce Heritage Committee. The committee now operates the home as an office to organize recitals in the city, while permitting it to be used to display artifacts of Lyell Gustin, for meeting space used by the local music community and hosting chamber music recitals.

Broadway Avenue is an arterial road and commercial street in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. It begins at the east end of the Broadway Bridge and continues south for about 4 kilometres until terminating at a cul-de-sac in the Avalon neighbourhood. The commercial portion, and the section usually referred to colloquially as "Broadway," is composed of the five blocks running south from the Broadway Bridge to 8th Street East, as well as the adjoining blocks east and west. This section makes up the Broadway Business Improvement District, and is a popular shopping and cultural destination of Saskatoon, featuring many restaurants and bars, boutique shops, local businesses, and annual street festivals, including the Saskatoon Fringe Theatre Festival.

The newly named Nutrien Fringe Theatre Festival is an annual fringe theatre festival in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. A fringe festival is not censored, and not juried, provides live theatre inexpensively, and a public busking forum for musicians. The PotashCorp Fringe Theatre Festival is hosted annually in the Broadway District in the Nutana neighborhood in six temporary theatre venues. The festival is a major tourism destination.

Nutana Suburban Development Area (SDA) is an area in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan (Canada). It is a part of the east side community of Saskatoon, and should not be confused with Nutana, one of the neighbourhoods within the Core Neighbourhoods SDA. It lies (generally) north of the outskirts of the City and the Rural Municipality of Corman Park No. 344, west of Lakewood SDA, south of the Core Neighbourhoods SDA SDA and University Heights SDA, and east of the South Saskatchewan River and Confederation SDA.

The Former Fire Hall No. 3 is a municipal designated historic building located in the Nutana neighborhood of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. With the University of Saskatchewan being built on the east side of the river this enhanced the need for a new fire hall on the east side. Built in 1911 with the latest equipment and both horse drawn and gasoline-powered fire fighting equipment the facility was again modernised in 1926. In 1958 the fire department left the facility for a new Fire Hall #3 that was constructed on York Avenue and Taylor Street. During the Cold War, the building became the headquarters for the Department of Civil Defense in 1959. The basement was converted into a radiation-proof communications bunker, and an emergency food kitchen was constructed, to be used in the event of nuclear war.Today the building is privately owned and houses a bar and restaurant.

Nutana is a primarily residential neighbourhood located near the centre of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. It includes the business district of Broadway Avenue. It comprises a nearly even mixture of low-density, single detached dwellings and apartment-style multiple unit dwellings. As of 2009, the area is home to 6,261 residents. The neighbourhood is considered a middle to upper-income area, with an average family income of $67,657, an average dwelling value of $206,830 and a home ownership rate of 51.3%. First established in 1883, Nutana was the original settlement of what now makes up the city of Saskatoon.

The Saskatoon Electrical System Substation is a municipal designated historic building located in the Nutana neighborhood of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. The property contains a two-story building in a Modern Classical style, made of No. 2 Redcliff, Light Claybank and Tee Pee Mocha brick construction. The building was constructed in 1929 by Saskatoon Light & Power along with two other such stations to meet the growing electrical demand of the city; declared a heritage site on December 4, 2000; and renovated into offices in the 1990s the building now houses the offices of the architectural firm of Kindrachuk Agrey Architects.

Nutana Collegiate is a high school located in the Nutana neighbourhood of central Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, serving students from grades 9 through 12. Nutana was the first public high school in Saskatoon and is part of the Saskatoon Public School Division. The school possesses a significant collection of early Canadian art.

Broadway Bridge is an arch bridge that spans the South Saskatchewan River in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada.

The Thirteenth Street Terrace is a municipally-designated historic building located in the Nutana neighbourhood of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. The property is made up of two-storey row housing constructed between 1911 and 1912 in a Classical architectural style. The row houses were built by Henry A. Cook, liveryman, farmer, real estate salesman and owner of the Waldorf Café.

The Marr Residence is a National Historic Site located in the Nutana neighbourhood of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, and was part of the original temperance colony that predated the city. Built in 1884 for stonemason Alexander "Sandy" Marr, it is the oldest building in Saskatoon on its original site. It was one of several houses requisitioned as a field hospital to treat wounded soldiers during the North-West Rebellion in 1885. When the hospital was closed in 1885 the home was returned to the Marr family. Although they left Saskatoon in 1889, the Marr family name remained associated with the house. The house remained a residential property until the 1970s.The Marr Residence was designated a municipal heritage property on January 11, 1982. It is noted for its blend of Second Empire and pioneer architecture, particularly its Mansard roof. The building is currently owned by the City of Saskatoon. On July 4, 2016, the Marr Residence was designated a National Historic Site.
