St Mary's Chapel, Arley

Arley Hall is a country house in the village of Arley, Cheshire, England, about 4 miles (6 km) south of Lymm and 5 miles (8 km) north of Northwich. It is home to the owner, Viscount Ashbrook, and his family. The house is a Grade II* listed building, as is its adjacent chapel. Formal gardens to the southwest of the hall are also listed as Grade II* on the National Register of Historic Parks and Gardens. In the grounds are more listed buildings, a cruck barn being listed as Grade I, and the other buildings as Grade II. The hall was built for Rowland Egerton-Warburton between 1832 and 1845, to replace an earlier house on the site. Local architect George Latham designed the house in a style which has become known as Jacobethan, copying elements of Elizabethan architecture. A Gothic Revival chapel designed by Anthony Salvin was subsequently built next to the hall. By the mid-20th century, parts of the house were in poor condition and were demolished, to be replaced by five private homes in a matching architectural style. The present gardens were created in the 1830s, and were developed during the 20th century. The garden's herbaceous border was the first of its type in England. The house and its gardens have been open to the public since the 1960s, and have also been used as a film location. Stockley Farm, part of the Arley estate, is an additional visitor attraction for children and families.

Rowland Egerton-Warburton converted the half-timbered barn into a school and adapted another 18th-century building into a terrace of Tudor-style buildings. The farmhouse was converted into a parsonage.

Aston Park is a Queen Anne country house in the parish of Aston by Budworth, Cheshire, England, built in 1715. The first mention of a building on the site is in the Domesday Book from 1086. It is constructed in brick with stone dressings, and has a slate roof. The house has two storeys and an attic, and its front elevation is symmetrical with five bays. Its façade is decorated between the first floor windows with diapering in heart and diamond patterns. An extension was added to the right of the building during the 20th century. The house is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II* listed building.In 2018 the owner Laurence Daw was given a community order, together with a fine of £2,250 and costs of £65,000, for undertaking unlicensed redevelopment at the house which Cheshire East Council described as "reckless vandalism". Damage included demolishing a 19th-century servants' wing, a cheese room and an entrance for tradespeople, as well as replacing sash windows and other interior damage. The house subsequently required one of its walls to be stabilised.

Swineyard Hall is a moated country house in the parish of High Legh, Cheshire, England. It was built in the 16th century, with additions made in the 19th century, and is still partly moated. The house is constructed partly in timber framing with rendered brick infill, and partly in stone on a brick plinth. The house has two storeys and an H-shaped plan. The left hand wing of the entrance front is timber-framed, and includes close studding. The house is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II* listed building. The moated site on which the house stands is a Scheduled Monument.

Cransley School is an independent day school in Great Budworth, close to the town of Northwich, Cheshire, England. The school educates girls and boys aged 4–16. The headmaster since 2016 is Mr Richard Pollock. The school regularly reaches the top of local performance tables (Cheshire) at GCSE level.The recent Educational Quality Inspection by ISI (May 2019) reported that its pupils’ Personal outcomes were Excellent, Academic provision was Good and that the School was compliant against all Independent School Standards. The school is non-denominational and welcomes all faiths and cultures. Traditional Christian values are observed.

The church is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building. It was built in the middle of the 19th century for Rowland Egerton-Warburton of nearby Arley Hall. It is constructed in brick, has a slate roof, and consists of a rectangular building with a service wing at right angles. It is now closed and is used as a private house.

Great Budworth is a village and civil parish in Cheshire, England, four miles (6.4 km) north of Northwich off the A559 road, east of Comberbach, northwest of Higher Marston and southeast of Budworth Heath. Until 1948, Great Budworth was part of the Arley Hall estate. At the 2011 census, the population was 339.

It is an active Anglican parish church in the diocese of Chester, the archdeaconry of Chester and the deanery of Great Budworth. The church is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade I listed building. Clifton-Taylor includes it in his list of 'best' English parish churches. Richards describes it as "one of the finest examples of ecclesiastical architecture remaining in Cheshire". The authors of the Buildings of England series express the opinion that it is "one of the most satisfactory Perpendicular churches of Cheshire and its setting brings its qualities out to perfection".

The George and Dragon is a public house in the village of Great Budworth, Cheshire, England. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building.

Goldmine House and its attached cottage (Rose Cottage) are at No. 26 Southbank, Great Budworth, Cheshire, England, to the south of St Mary and All Saints' Church. They are recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building.The house and cottage were built for Rowland Egerton-Warburton of Arley Hall and were designed by the Chester architect John Douglas. They were constructed about 1870 in brown brick with some timber framing, and clay tile roofs. The house is to the west, is in two storeys, and has two bays, both gabled. The western bay is smaller than that to the east and is set back; its gable is timber framed. Between the storeys on both wings is a frieze of zigzag brickwork and plaster. To the east of the house is a single-storey extension with a catslide roof and an arched entrance giving access to rear of the buildings; over the entrance is a timber framed gable. The cottage is simple in form with a dormer and blue brick diapering. In 1884 the editor of The British Architect, Thomas Raffles Davison, described the building as one of the "very pleasing buildings south of the [church] by Mr Douglas".
