Fort Collins Municipal Railway

Fort Collins Municipal Railway Birney Safety Streetcar No. 21 is a streetcar (or trolley) in Fort Collins, Colorado, listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. Built in 1919 by the American Car Company for the Fort Collins Municipal Railway, it is a type of streetcar known as a Birney "Safety Car". It was listed on the National Register in 1984 and is one of fewer than 10 streetcars listed.

Grandview Cemetery is a cemetery in Fort Collins, Larimer County, Colorado. The land for the cemetery was purchased in 1887; at the time it was west of the city limits of Fort Collins. Mountain Home Cemetery had been used prior to this, but it was closer to town, and with the population of Fort Collins rapidly expanding it was deemed necessary to find another location farther from town. The remains buried at Mountain Home were gradually transferred to Grandview beginning in late 1887 or early 1888 and by the 1920s the site of the former cemetery at Mountain Home had been converted to a playground.The first interment at Grandview took place on November 21, 1887, when a three-month-old infant named Felix Scoville was buried there.As of 2009 Grandview consisted of approximately 45 acres (180,000 m2) development, 34,000 grave spaces, 70 crypts, 336 niches, and over 22,000 burials.

KIIX (1410 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a classic country format. Licensed to Fort Collins, Colorado, United States, it serves the Ft. Collins-Greeley area. The station is owned by iHeartMedia, Inc., who acquired the station from Jacor in May 1999.

Polaris Expeditionary Learning School is an alternative (school of choice) K-12 school in Fort Collins, Colorado (Poudre School District). Polaris Expeditionary Learning School used to be known as Pioneer, but had to change its name due to district policy and lack of funding to continue as a charter. Polaris Expeditionary Learning School has an "Adventure Program" that allows students to go on week-long field trips or "Intensives" in order to gain school credit. These Intensives typically happen three times a year. Some students go backpacking for PE credit, while others get elective credit doing beekeeping, cooking, skateboard making, and many other choices, along with active service projects in the community throughout the year. After the 2022-2023 School Year, the founder and former principal of Polaris resigned, and the position moved to the previous Vice Principal, Starr Hill.

Moby Arena is an 8,083-seat basketball arena on the campus of Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado. The arena, officially known as the Colorado State Auditorium-Gymnasium, was opened on January 24, 1966, with a victory over New Mexico State. The arena was built to replace South College Gymnasium, which was built in 1926 and seated 1,500 people.

Poudre High School is located in Fort Collins, Colorado, United States. It is one of four comprehensive public senior high schools in the Poudre School District, established in 1963. The school serves approximately 1,900 students with the most northwestern part of Fort Collins and outlying communities as its boundary.

The Poudre School District (R-1) is a K–12 public school district in Larimer County in northern Colorado. The district operates and manages the public schools in the city of Fort Collins, as well as in the towns of Wellington, Timnath, Loveland and Windsor, and unincorporated communities of Larimer County including Laporte and Livermore. The district is one of the fastest growing in Northern Colorado, adding 400-500 students — about the size of an elementary school — each year.The district was formed in 1960 by the consolidation of several dozen existing districts in Larimer County, and is the ninth largest in the state. The district manages 31 elementary schools, 10 middle schools, four comprehensive high schools, and four alternative high schools. Additionally, the district manages community early childhood education programs and special transition facilities for students with disabilities. Five Fort Collins charter schools are chartered through PSD, including the Fort Collins Montessori School, Mountain Sage Community School, Ridgeview Classical School and Liberty Common Elementary and High School. The district is led by a seven-member Board of Education.The school district is the second-largest employer in Fort Collins. The minimum teacher salary in PSD is $44,000, and the maximum $93,761. The average teacher salary of $53,383 is slightly higher than the state average. In the 2015–2016 school year, the district had a total PK-12 enrollment of 29,527.

Following an $8.4 million renovation in 2010, The Lincoln Center is refreshed, renewed and remarkable. The renovation and expansion focused on improving the patron experience, performer amenities, and infusing new life into this community treasure. Canvas Stadium, officially Sonny Lubick Field at Canvas Stadium, is an outdoor college football stadium in the western United States, located on the campus of Colorado State University (CSU) in Fort Collins, Colorado. The home field of the CSU Rams of the Mountain West Conference, it opened seven years ago on August 5, 2017, and hosted its first game three weeks later. It replaced Sonny Lubick Field at Hughes Stadium, which had been the Rams' home since 1968. Canvas Stadium has a seating capacity of 36,500, but can hold as many as 41,000.The field has a conventional north–south alignment at an elevation of 5,003 feet (1,525 m) above sea level.

The Avery House, at 328 W. Mountain Ave. in Fort Collins, Colorado, was built in 1879. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.The house and its stable house are two contributing buildings on the property. The two-story house is asserted by the Fort Collins Landmark Commission to be "one of the city's best remaining examples of the colorful construction done during its early days and of High Victorian Gothic architecture."It was hoped that National Register listing would improve likelihood the house would be preserved, in face of high real estate prices and development pressure in Fort Collins.In 1974, the Poudre Landmarks Foundation bought the house for $79,000. It is open for public tours on weekends year round. The home is available for wedding and private event rentals.

The Peter Anderson House is a historic house built in 1901, located at 300 South Howes Street in Fort Collins, Colorado. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.The house was designed by Montezuma Fuller and was built by Thomas Garnick. Its main rectangular area is about 29 by 45 feet (8.8 m × 13.7 m) in plan and it has an 11 by 23 feet (3.4 m × 7.0 m) wing on the south side. It has a sandstone and wood exterior and a hipped roof.

The Montezuma Fuller House at 226 W. Magnolia St. in Fort Collins, Colorado was built in 1894. It is a Queen Anne style house designed by architect Montezuma Fuller. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) in 1978.According to its NRHP nomination, the house "is significant for its association with its designer, builder, and first inhabitant, Montezuma Fuller, the most important of Fort Collins' early architects. The house itself is an excellent example of Fuller's residential style of architecture which combined Queen Anne and Eastlake elements, and is also significant for its craftsmanship and detailing."
