Montezuma Fuller House

The Peter Anderson House is a historic house built in 1901, located at 300 South Howes Street in Fort Collins, Colorado. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.The house was designed by Montezuma Fuller and was built by Thomas Garnick. Its main rectangular area is about 29 by 45 feet (8.8 m × 13.7 m) in plan and it has an 11 by 23 feet (3.4 m × 7.0 m) wing on the south side. It has a sandstone and wood exterior and a hipped roof.

It was founded in 1978 through a community initiative called “Designing Tomorrow Today” that resulted in a voter-approved $2.2 million capital improvements tax, with the community raising an additional $300,000 to complete a new performing and visual arts center for Fort Collins. Following an $8.4 million renovation in 2010, The Lincoln Center is refreshed, renewed and remarkable. The renovation and expansion focused on improving the patron experience, performer amenities, and infusing new life into this community treasure. Community members throughout Northern Colorado have been flocking to see the “new” Lincoln Center, which now features elegant and expanded lobbies, a new rooftop deck, several new and inviting bar spaces, a beautiful new art gallery and a start-of-the-art sound system.

Fort Collins Weekly was a weekly community newspaper serving the city of Fort Collins, Colorado. It had a circulation of 33,700, making it the largest weekly newspaper in northern Colorado. It was purchased by Swift Communications in July 2007, and renamed Fort Collins Now. Swift Communications ceased publication of the paper in May 2009.

The Avery House, at 328 W. Mountain Ave. in Fort Collins, Colorado, was built in 1879. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.The house and its stable house are two contributing buildings on the property. The two-story house is asserted by the Fort Collins Landmark Commission to be "one of the city's best remaining examples of the colorful construction done during its early days and of High Victorian Gothic architecture."It was hoped that National Register listing would improve likelihood the house would be preserved, in face of high real estate prices and development pressure in Fort Collins.In 1974, the Poudre Landmarks Foundation bought the house for $79,000. It is open for public tours on weekends year round. The home is available for wedding and private event rentals.

The Botanical and Horticultural Laboratory on the Colorado State University campus on Fort Collins, Colorado was built in 1890. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. The building is now named Routt Hall. It is a legacy of the old Colorado Agricultural College campus, in fact one of the oldest surviving of the 1878-founded college's structures. It was designed by Pueblo, Colorado architect Otto Bulow, who also designed an 1889 addition to the Old Main building. It was deemed a "fine example of the earliest architecture on the campus. The rich detailing of brick and stone exemplified in Old Main (burned: 1972) survives only in this building and Spruce Hall. In fact, the gabled section of the Bonical and Horticultural building essentially duplicated the corresponding parts of the Old Main addition."It was refurbished in 1894 to hold the first Domestic Economy Department in Colorado, after a "Ladies Course" proved to be in high demand and a separate department became justified. The building was secured for this department by efforts of Eliza F. Routt, wife of the last territorial governor of Colorado, who was the first female member of the State Board of Agriculture and promoted higher education for women.

The Kissock Block Building is a historic commercial building located at 115–121 East Mountain Avenue in Fort Collins, Colorado. The two-story brick structure was completed in 1889 and was designed and built by local builder-architect Montezuma Fuller. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

The McHugh–Andrews House at 202 Remington St. in Fort Collins, Colorado was built in 1885. It was designed by builder-architect Montezuma Fuller and it was also a work of Lars P. Kemoe. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

The Starlight, 167 N. College Ave., was a bar and concert venue in Old Town Fort Collins, Colorado. The bar was known as "Mountain Tap" for many years, before a late '90s name change. The bar went through a series of owners in the mid-2000s, including a collective headed by local nightclub magnates Joe Vader and Lucky Kerig. The nightclub reopened in February 2007 as "Hodi's Half-Note". The Starlight hosted late schizophrenic keyboardist-vocalist Wesley Willis and defunct post-punk rock band Caril featuring the Alberts brothers, Cameron and Kirk, Myke Fedyk and Jason Sharp. Also, the bar was one of many Fort Collins locations where the movie Our Burden Is Light was filmed. During 2003, the Fort Collins based punk band ALL booked three sold out shows for their Stockage 2003 Festival. According to its MySpace site, The Starlight hosted Cherry Poppin' Daddies, Frank Black & The Catholics, G. Love and Special Sauce, Jello Biafra, John Mayer, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Lagwagon, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, Rise Against, Social Distortion, The Specials, Vanilla Ice, ALL and Ween, among others.

Fort Collins Museum of Discovery is an all-ages, science, history and cultural museum established in 2008 through a public-private partnership between the City of Fort Collins' Fort Collins Museum and nonprofit Discovery Science Center. The museum, which opened in November 2012 and drew approximimately one million visitors in its first decade, is located at 408 Mason Court, Fort Collins, CO 80524. The Poudre River Public Library District was established in 2006 by citizen vote, with the established Fort Collins Public Library as its foundation. It serves more than 177,000 people across northern Larimer County, Colorado including Fort Collins and Timnath. The district is governed by an all-volunteer board of trustees appointed by city and county officials. The current board, composed of seven experienced community leaders, began its work immediately after being appointed in March, 2007. The board is responsible for guiding the transition from a city library system to a broader library district; for overseeing library operations; and for developing a long-range vision for the district.
