Poudre School District

Poudre High School is located in Fort Collins, Colorado, United States. It is one of four comprehensive public senior high schools in the Poudre School District, established in 1963. The school serves approximately 1,900 students with the most northwestern part of Fort Collins and outlying communities as its boundary.

Grandview Cemetery is a cemetery in Fort Collins, Larimer County, Colorado. The land for the cemetery was purchased in 1887; at the time it was west of the city limits of Fort Collins. Mountain Home Cemetery had been used prior to this, but it was closer to town, and with the population of Fort Collins rapidly expanding it was deemed necessary to find another location farther from town. The remains buried at Mountain Home were gradually transferred to Grandview beginning in late 1887 or early 1888 and by the 1920s the site of the former cemetery at Mountain Home had been converted to a playground.The first interment at Grandview took place on November 21, 1887, when a three-month-old infant named Felix Scoville was buried there.As of 2009 Grandview consisted of approximately 45 acres (180,000 m2) development, 34,000 grave spaces, 70 crypts, 336 niches, and over 22,000 burials.

Fort Collins Municipal Railway Birney Safety Streetcar No. 21 is a streetcar (or trolley) in Fort Collins, Colorado, listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. Built in 1919 by the American Car Company for the Fort Collins Municipal Railway, it is a type of streetcar known as a Birney "Safety Car". It was listed on the National Register in 1984 and is one of fewer than 10 streetcars listed.

Polaris Expeditionary Learning School is an alternative (school of choice) K-12 school in Fort Collins, Colorado (Poudre School District). Polaris Expeditionary Learning School used to be known as Pioneer, but had to change its name due to district policy and lack of funding to continue as a charter. Polaris Expeditionary Learning School has an "Adventure Program" that allows students to go on week-long field trips or "Intensives" in order to gain school credit. These Intensives typically happen three times a year. Some students go backpacking for PE credit, while others get elective credit doing beekeeping, cooking, skateboard making, and many other choices, along with active service projects in the community throughout the year. After the 2022-2023 School Year, the founder and former principal of Polaris resigned, and the position moved to the previous Vice Principal, Starr Hill.

KIIX (1410 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a classic country format. Licensed to Fort Collins, Colorado, United States, it serves the Ft. Collins-Greeley area. The station is owned by iHeartMedia, Inc., who acquired the station from Jacor in May 1999.

The Fort Collins Municipal Railway operated streetcars in Fort Collins, Colorado, from 1919 until 1951. Since 1984, a section of one of the former routes has been in operation as a seasonal heritage streetcar service, under the same name, running primarily on Spring and Summer weekends. The heritage service is operated by volunteers from the Fort Collins Municipal Railway Society (FCMRS). The streetcar in use on the heritage line, Birney "Safety" Streetcar No. 21, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Cooperative Institute for Research in the Atmosphere (CIRA) is a scientific research institution at Colorado State University (CSU) that operates under a cooperative agreement with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Office of Oceanic and Atmospheric Research (OAR) and the National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS). Atmospheric research at CIRA focuses on augmenting operational meteorology with advanced techniques in satellite observations and retrievals, numerical modeling and computational techniques, and data analysis, visualization, and storage. Along with NOAA, CIRA also partners with the National Science Foundation (NSF), the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the National Park Service (NPS), and the Department of Defense (DoD). Moby Arena is an 8,083-seat basketball arena on the campus of Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado. The arena, officially known as the Colorado State Auditorium-Gymnasium, was opened on January 24, 1966, with a victory over New Mexico State. The arena was built to replace South College Gymnasium, which was built in 1926 and seated 1,500 people.

Sonny Lubick Field at Hughes Stadium was an outdoor college football stadium in the western United States, located in Fort Collins, Colorado. It was the home field of the Colorado State Rams of the Mountain West Conference from 1968 through 2016; the team moved in 2017 to the new on-campus Colorado State Stadium (now Canvas Stadium).The playing field had a mostly conventional north-south alignment, skewed slightly northwest-southeast, at an approximate elevation of 5,190 feet (1,580 m) above sea level. It was natural grass for the stadium's first 38 years; FieldTurf was installed in the summer of 2006 for the final eleven seasons.

Canvas Stadium, officially Sonny Lubick Field at Canvas Stadium, is an outdoor college football stadium in the western United States, located on the campus of Colorado State University (CSU) in Fort Collins, Colorado. The home field of the CSU Rams of the Mountain West Conference, it opened seven years ago on August 5, 2017, and hosted its first game three weeks later. It replaced Sonny Lubick Field at Hughes Stadium, which had been the Rams' home since 1968. Canvas Stadium has a seating capacity of 36,500, but can hold as many as 41,000.The field has a conventional north–south alignment at an elevation of 5,003 feet (1,525 m) above sea level.

LaPorte Church of Christ is an independent church in Laporte, Colorado, led by Peter J. Peters (November 13, 1946 – July 7, 2011) until his death. Peters proclaimed that Europeans are the true Israel and that contemporary Jews may be of the synagogue of Satan (based on Revelation 2:9 and 3:9) and the descendants of the biblical Esau (Edom), the brother and nemesis of Jacob (Israel). Critics labeled his message to be that of Christian Identity,: 239  although he rejected this label. The church is no longer associated with the decentralized group of churches that use the name "Churches of Christ". The church served mainly as a platform for Peters's views and its membership never went above 100. It attracted white supremacists, including the members of the terrorist organization The Order who murdered radio talk show host Alan Berg with whom Peters had clashed on Berg's radio program.The church became involved in a controversy in Colorado, related to an amendment against homosexuality, which led to it being fined for a minor violation of election laws. Peters refused to pay the fine and the church was seized by the state in February 1993 as the debt exceeded $10,000.: 241 LaPorte operates Scriptures for America, a shortwave radio service that broadcasts via WTWW in Lebanon, Tennessee. Peters's programming had previously been carried on WRNO and WWCR.

It was founded in 1978 through a community initiative called “Designing Tomorrow Today” that resulted in a voter-approved $2.2 million capital improvements tax, with the community raising an additional $300,000 to complete a new performing and visual arts center for Fort Collins. Today, The Lincoln Center is one of Colorado's largest and most diverse presenters of professional theatre, dance, music, comedy, visual arts, and children's programs. It is the largest Northern Colorado presenter of nationally touring performances including Broadway musicals and big-name acts. In addition, its community partners such as OpenStage Theatre, Canyon Concert Ballet, Larimer Chorale, The Fort Collins Symphony and Debut Theater help make The Lincoln Center a frequent gathering place for families and arts and culture lovers alike. Following an $8.4 million renovation in 2010, The Lincoln Center is refreshed, renewed and remarkable. The renovation and expansion focused on improving the patron experience, performer amenities, and infusing new life into this community treasure. Community members throughout Northern Colorado have been flocking to see the “new” Lincoln Center, which now features elegant and expanded lobbies, a new rooftop deck, several new and inviting bar spaces, a beautiful new art gallery and a start-of-the-art sound system.
