The station is located at Seven Bungalows.With 12% of all Line 1 commuters traveling through the station, Versova is the third-busiest station on the line, after MasterCard Ghatkopar and LIC Andheri.

Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital is a tertiary-care hospital in Four Bungalows, Mumbai, India. The hospital is named after Kokilaben Ambani, wife of industrialist Dhirubhai Ambani, who was the founder of Reliance Industries.

Malad Creek or Marve Creek is a creek in north-west Mumbai. Located west of Malad, the Oshiwara River drains into it. To the west is Madh Island, and to the east lies Versova. Earlier it was surrounded by a 1,000-acre (4.0 km2) area of mangroves. But now this area has shrunk to 400 acres (1.6 km2) as the real estate prices in Malad went up. Malad creek is 5 km in length.The Malad sewage treatment plant gives preliminary treatment of waste before discharging it directly into the creek, and in 2017 was considered "perhaps the worst" polluting plant in the city.

Lokhandwala Complex, also known as Lokhandwala, is a large upmarket and affluent residential and commercial neighbourhood in Andheri West suburb in Mumbai, India. It is approximately 5 km from Andheri station. The name Lokhandwala comes from the name of the developer with the construction firm being Lokhandwala Constructions Pvt. Ltd. It was the primary developer of the suburb of Versova, which was previously basically a marshland. It is the starting point of Line 6 of the city's metro system.

The five main landmarks here are, Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, the Fish Market, Manish Market, the Good Shepherd Church and St. Louis Convent school, which is located within the second lane from the Four Bungalows signal/junction. It has a very famous and old Dairy and Restaurant known as Sharma Fastfood And Restaurant. It was established in around 1980. It consists one of the few HSBC branches in Mumbai. Other places in the vicinity include Convent Avenue, Ratan Nagar society and Manish Nagar. Also has a Gurudwara (Sikh temple) on the main road. Is accessible through BEST bus routes 266,249 and 251 from Andheri Station or you can use a Metro from the Andheri Station. Four Bungalows is named after the 'four bungalows' that once existed here during the British occupation. Two of them still exist today, one just opposite Good Shepherd Church. It is named Gulab Cottage. The other is in better condition and located in the lane just behind the Good Shepherd Church. This place also consists of a large number of residential buildings, built around 25 to 40 years past, that is the time, this place came under proper development. This place is easily accessible to Lokhandwala, Versova, Yari Road, Andheri Station and Juhu-Vile Parle. The depot for the Versova-Andheri Ghatkopar line of the Mumbai Metro is located here.

The Indian Film & Television Directors' Association (IFTDA) is an entertainment guild that represents the interests of film and television directors in India. It was founded as the Indian Film Directors' Association (IFDA) in 1960, before adopting today's name in 2007 and welcoming television directors into the guild. Ashoke Pandit is the current president, a role that has been held in the past by K.A. Abbas, Madhusudan, Basu Bhattacharya, Ramesh Saigal, Mahesh Kaul, and Mohan Segal.Before IFDA was founded, it was known as the Assistant Directors' Association, and the decision to begin including directors led to its founding in 1960.In 1969 IFDA began taking a stance against imports of foreign films, supporting a tax that would encourage films with smaller budgets and higher quality. In 1978, IFDA campaigned for more movie theatres to be built, working with state governments and National Film Development Corporation of India to open 100 new theatres.IFTDA faced an identity crisis in 2010 when around 500 members quit in protest due to "lack of vision". In February 2019, IFTDA called for a hiring ban on all Pakistan artists working in Bollywood in response to the 2019 Pulwama attack and the subsequent remarks from Navjot Singh Sidhu.

D N Nagar is now accessible with Mumbai Metro which has an elevated station with the same name, located at India Oil Junction.
