Fairlane Green also known as "The Hill", is a power center in the United States city of Allen Park, Michigan. It is built on top of a former landfill and was opened to the public in stages in the mid-2000s. Tenants include Target, Meijer, Best Buy, LA Fitness, Old Navy, Five Below, Panera Bread, and several others. The elevation of Fairlane Green is high enough to allow one to see portions of the skyline of downtown Detroit from the northern end of the complex on most days.

Inter-City Baptist School is a Baptist school located in Allen Park, Michigan. It was opened in 1966 and includes students ranging from kindergarten to twelfth grade.

Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary is an independent Baptist seminary in Allen Park, Michigan, operated in association with the Inter-City Baptist Church in Allen Park. The institution, which was established in 1976, enrolls men for graduate programs in preaching and pastoral theology, leading to the Master of Divinity (M.Div) and Master of Theology (Th.M.) degrees.

Allen Park is a city in Wayne County in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2020 Census, the population was 28,638. Ford Motor Company is an integral part of the community. Many of the company's offices and facilities lie within the city limits. Since 2002, Allen Park is the practice home of the Detroit Lions football team and is also the site of the team's headquarters. The city is known for its tree-lined streets, brick houses, and the Fairlane Green Shopping Center that opened in 2006. The city was once recognized in Money Magazine's list of America's Best Small Cities. Allen Park is part of the collection of communities known as Downriver. Allen Park is home to the Uniroyal Giant Tire, the largest non-production tire scale model ever built, and one of the world's largest roadside attractions. Originally a Ferris wheel at the 1964 New York World's Fair, the structure was moved to Allen Park in 1966.

The Ford Pilot Plant facility, located at 17000 Oakwood Boulevard in Allen Park, Michigan, was opened in the summer of 1956 as the original location for the newly created Continental Division, where all Continental Mark II cars were assembled. It was renamed the Edsel Division Headquarters until 1959, when Edsel was discontinued and later became the New Model Programs Development Center facility, where new models are tested and developed. The role of the pilot plant is to test manufacture new products for the first time, documenting the steps and procedures, before assembly line production begins at the designated factory. The location can manufacture several vehicles at one time, where products are moved from station to station on mobile carriages until the process is complete.It is located approximately two miles (3.2 km) west of the famous River Rouge facility, and approximately two miles (3.2 km) east of the Ford Dearborn Development Center, and adjacent to the Ford IT Business Innovation Center to the north. Interstate 94 is directly southeast of the facility. Beaumont Hospital Dearborn and Edsel Ford High School are nearby.

Lincoln Park Shopping Center (also referred to as Sears Shopping Center) was a shopping center located at the corner of Southfield Road and Dix Highway, mostly in Lincoln Park, Michigan, though a portion containing a former Farmer Jack supermarket and a former Wendy's restaurant (now a Del Taco location) lay in neighboring Allen Park. Anchored by Sears and completed by 1957, it was one of the first large-scale strip complexes in the Downriver Detroit suburbs prior to the 1970 opening of Southland Center. After Fairlane Green opened in Allen Park in 2005, the Lincoln Park Shopping Center would lose many of its tenants to the newer complex, while losing others to retailer bankruptcies during the Great Recession and the retail apocalypse, which culminated in Sears' closure in 2019.

Allen Park High School is a secondary school in Allen Park, Michigan, United States. It is operated by Allen Park Public Schools. Allen Park High was established in 1950. Prior to then, Allen Park School District students attended Detroit Southwestern High School, Lincoln Park High School or Melvindale High School.

Saint Frances Cabrini High School is a Catholic coeducational high school located in Allen Park, Michigan. Located in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Detroit, it has been in operation since 1960. The school colors are navy blue and gold, and they are known as the Monarchs. Notable graduates of Cabrini High School include design award-winning, custom jeweler, Amber Ann Hall (Gustafson) (1979), a member of the prestigious American Gem Society, residing in Texas. In 2009–2010, the Michigan Association of Secondary School Principals assistant principal of the year recipient was Sinder Gundick, a 1983 graduate of Cabrini High School.

Ford Airport in Dearborn, Michigan, United States, was one of the first modern airports in the world. It operated from 1924 to 1947. The site is now part of Ford Motor Company's Dearborn Proving Ground. The airport was about 360 acres (150 ha) in size.This airport saw many world and U.S. "firsts": the first U.S. airport hotel, the first concrete runways, first U.S. scheduled passenger service, first contracted airmail service, first radio control for a commercial flight, and first U.S. passenger terminal. The buildings were designed by architect Albert Kahn and are considered to have greatly influenced the design of airports throughout the U.S.The original aircraft facilities were in use as part of the Ford testing facilities at the proving ground. However, the original (greatly modified) passenger terminal was demolished in 1961, and the remaining hangar, used as an experimental engine test facility since the late 1940s, was demolished in 2018. Only The Dearborn Inn, a hotel that was built across the road to serve the airport, remains.

Dearborn Heights District 7 is one of the three public school districts in Dearborn Heights, Michigan. The Crestwood School District is located in the city's northern side, while the Westwood School District is located in the city's southwest side. District 7 has six active schools.
