Saint Frances Cabrini High School is a Catholic coeducational high school located in Allen Park, Michigan. Located in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Detroit, it has been in operation since 1960. The school colors are navy blue and gold, and they are known as the Monarchs. Notable graduates of Cabrini High School include design award-winning, custom jeweler, Amber Ann Hall (Gustafson) (1979), a member of the prestigious American Gem Society, residing in Texas. In 2009–2010, the Michigan Association of Secondary School Principals assistant principal of the year recipient was Sinder Gundick, a 1983 graduate of Cabrini High School.

The Uniroyal Giant Tire was created by the United States Rubber Company for the 1964 New York World's Fair, where it functioned as a Ferris wheel. Since 1966 it has served as a static display in Allen Park, Michigan, alongside Interstate 94, between the Southfield Freeway interchange and Outer Drive overpass.

It is built on top of a former landfill and was opened to the public in stages in the mid-2000s. Tenants include Target, Meijer, Best Buy, LA Fitness, Old Navy, Five Below, Panera Bread, and several others. The elevation of Fairlane Green is high enough to allow one to see portions of the skyline of downtown Detroit from the northern end of the complex on most days.

Allen Park High School is a secondary school in Allen Park, Michigan, United States. It is operated by Allen Park Public Schools. Allen Park High was established in 1950. Prior to then, Allen Park School District students attended Detroit Southwestern High School, Lincoln Park High School or Melvindale High School.

Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary is an independent Baptist seminary in Allen Park, Michigan, operated in association with the Inter-City Baptist Church in Allen Park. The institution, which was established in 1976, enrolls men for graduate programs in preaching and pastoral theology, leading to the Master of Divinity (M.Div) and Master of Theology (Th.M.) degrees.

Lincoln Park Shopping Center (also referred to as Sears Shopping Center) was a shopping center located at the corner of Southfield Road and Dix Highway, mostly in Lincoln Park, Michigan, though a portion containing a former Farmer Jack supermarket and a former Wendy's restaurant (now a Del Taco location) lay in neighboring Allen Park. Anchored by Sears and completed by 1957, it was one of the first large-scale strip complexes in the Downriver Detroit suburbs prior to the 1970 opening of Southland Center. After Fairlane Green opened in Allen Park in 2005, the Lincoln Park Shopping Center would lose many of its tenants to the newer complex, while losing others to retailer bankruptcies during the Great Recession and the retail apocalypse, which culminated in Sears' closure in 2019.

Inter-City Baptist School is a Baptist school located in Allen Park, Michigan. It was opened in 1966 and includes students ranging from kindergarten to twelfth grade.

Lincoln Park High School (LPHS) is a public school in Lincoln Park, Michigan. The school colors are orange and blue, and the teams are called the Railsplitters, a reference to Abraham Lincoln. It is a part of Lincoln Park Public Schools. LPHS has a student-to-teacher ratio of 35:1 and was given a rating of "C" as of 2010 it has been given a "B" by the Michigan Department of Education in 2007–2008. As of the class of 2011, LPHS has a graduation rate of 63.5% (starting with about 490 students, now having about 232) and an attendance rate of 75%.LPHS has many programs and extra curricular activities including the Spanish Club, Lincoln Park Building Trades, Guitar Club, Anime Club, JROTC, FIRST Robotics Competition, National Honor Society, four school bands (marching, symphonic, jazz, and concert), E.M.T. Education, Business Management, CADD, Agriscience, and Quiz Bowl.

The Hungarian Reformed Church in Allen Park, Michigan, is the only remaining Hungarian Reformed congregation near Detroit, Michigan out of the former four.

The Hector J. Robinson Observatory, located in Lincoln Park, Michigan, is an Astronomical Observatory that features a 14-inch (360 mm) Celestron SCT telescope. Following renovation, the observatory resumed operations in September 2009, with First light ceremonies taking place in early September of that same year.

WLQV (1500 AM) is a commercial radio station licensed to Detroit, Michigan. It is owned by the Salem Media Group and broadcasts a Christian talk and teaching radio format. It uses paid brokered programming where hosts buy time on the station and may seek donations to their ministries during their programs. Religious leaders heard on WLQV include David Jeremiah, John MacArthur, Alistair Begg, Jim Daly, Tony Evans and Charles Stanley. The studios are on Radio Plaza in Ferndale, Michigan. By day, WLQV transmits with 50,000 watts, the maximum for American AM stations; to protect other stations from interference at night, WLQV reduces power to 10,000 watts. It uses a directional antenna with a nine-tower array. The transmitter is on Hazel Avenue near Dix Highway and Interstate 75 in Lincoln Park, Michigan. Programming is also heard on 99-watt FM translator W224CC at 92.7 MHz in Detroit.

Lincoln Park is a city in Wayne County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 38,144 at the 2010 census, down from 40,008 at the 2000 census. With a population density of 6,476.1/sq mi (2,500.4/km2) at the 2010 census, Lincoln Park is the second most-densely populated municipality in the state after Hamtramck. Lincoln Park contains Council Point Park, which dates back to 1763 when Chief Pontiac met with other tribal leaders along the banks of the Ecorse River to plot a rebellion against increasing European settlers, specifically those in nearby Fort Detroit. The Potawatomi eventually ceded the land to the French in 1776. Lincoln Park is considered part of the Downriver collection of communities within Metro Detroit. The city borders Detroit to the north and also shares borders with Allen Park to the west, Ecorse to the east, Melvindale to the north, and Southgate and Wyandotte to the south. It developed as a bedroom community, providing homes to workers in the nearby steel mills and automobile plants of the Detroit area, while having no industries of its own. Lincoln Park was originally part of the now-defunct Ecorse Township, incorporating as a village in 1921 and again as a city in 1925.
