Poblenou Cemetery

The Kiss of Death (Catalan: El petó de la mort; Spanish: El beso de la muerte), is a marble sculpture located in the Poblenou Cemetery in Barcelona. The sculpture is believed to have been crafted by Jaume Barba in 1930, as his signature is present on the side of the sculpture. However, some suggest that it might have been designed by Barba's son-in-law, Joan Fontbernat. The sculpture serves as an example of memento mori, portraying death as a winged skeleton bestowing a kiss on the forehead of a young man.

El Poblenou (Catalan pronunciation: [əl ˌpɔbːləˈnɔw]; Catalan for '"new village"') is an extensive neighborhood of Barcelona (Sant Martí district) that borders the Mediterranean Sea to the south, Sant Adrià del Besòs to the east, Parc de la Ciutadella in Ciutat Vella to the west, and Sant Andreu to the north. In the past the neighborhood was a town entirely separated from Barcelona.

La Vila Olímpica del Poblenou or La Villa Olímpica (The Olympic Village of Poblenou) is a neighborhood in the Sant Martí district of Barcelona, Catalonia (Spain). It was constructed in the late 1980s and early 1990s for the 1992 Summer Olympic Games which took place in Barcelona. Its construction was devised by Oriol Bohigas, David Mackay and Albert Puigdomènec as a residential area in the otherwise industrial and working-class district of Poblenou, which underwent regeneration but involved massive expropriation, as well as the destruction of a sizeable portion of the district, including Industrial Revolution factories of architectural value such as Fàbrica Foret. It follows essentially the reticular outline of Eixample and Poblenou, with about 2000 new apartments in the area, owned by the mixed public-private company VOSA (Vila Olímpica Societat Anònima).

Poblenou is a Barcelona Metro station in Poblenou, a formerly industrial area of Barcelona's Sant Martí district. The location of the station is in the intersections of Carrer de Pujades with carrer de Bilbao and carrer de Lope de Vega. It's served by L4 (yellow line). It was opened in 1977 along with the lines from Barceloneta to Selva de Mar. The platforms are 93m long.

It is located in a privately owned premises on Batista Street, in the neighborhood of El Poblenou (in the San Martí District). The museum opened on May 27, 2017.

Fab Lab Barcelona (Fab Lab BCN) is a laboratory for digital fabrication and part of the global Fab Labs network. It was established in 2007 as the first Fab Lab in the European Union. The lab was founded by the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia (IAAC). Located in the El Poblenou district of Barcelona, the facility occupies a former industrial building that has been adapted for research, education, and production activities. Fab Lab Barcelona is part of an international network of fabrication laboratories that share knowledge, tools, and practices related to digital fabrication and maker culture. The lab has been involved in various projects integrating digital fabrication with education, community participation, and research. Notable initiatives associated with Fab Lab Barcelona include the Smart Citizen environmental sensing platform and the Distributed Design platform, which connects European designers and makers who work on alternatives to mass production.

The Pavelló de la Mar Bella is an indoor arena located in Barcelona, Catalonia. Seating 4000, it hosted the badminton events for 1992 Summer Olympics. This venue was completed in time for the 1992 Games.

The Port Olímpic (English: Olympic Harbour) is a marina located in Barcelona, Catalonia. Located east of the Port of Barcelona, it hosted the sailing events for the 1992 Summer Olympics. The venue was opened in 1991.

The Hotel Meliá Barcelona Sky is a skyscraper designed by Dominique Perrault located in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. The building is 116 metres (381 ft) tall and has 31 floors and 258 rooms. It is the fourth-tallest building in Barcelona after Torre Mapfre, Hotel Arts, and Torre Agbar.The building is located at the junction of Avinguda Diagonal and carrer de Pere IV, in the district of el Poblenou. The hotel was conquered by Alain Robert on June 13, 2017 and it took him Twenty minutes. His stunt was repeated by Marcin Banot on August 2, 2018 and it took him 59 minutes.
