Marlborough is a suburb of the North Shore, located in Auckland, New Zealand. It lies eight kilometres to the northwest of the Auckland CBD between the suburbs of Hillcrest and Glenfield. In 2013 this suburb comprised part of the Northcote electorate and is represented by the Member of Parliament Dan Bidois, of the National Party.

The Eventfinda Stadium (originally known as the North Shore Events Centre) is an indoor arena located in the North Shore City suburb of Wairau Valley, Auckland, New Zealand. The arena opened in 1992 and has a capacity of 4,179.It primarily hosts community events and was previously the home arena of the New Zealand Breakers, who play in the Australian NBL. It also hosts concerts, expos, trade shows, conferences, netball, MMA, cheerleading and dance. It has also hosted the New Zealand Badminton Open for over 10 years. In 2009, the arena hosted the final of the FIBA Under-19 World Championship. The final saw the United States defeat Greece 88–80.

Glenfield Mall is an enclosed shopping centre in the North Shore suburb of Glenfield, Auckland, New Zealand. It is situated between Glenfield Road to the west, Downing Street to the south and Bentley Avenue to the north. The centre features major retailers including Farmers, The Warehouse, Countdown, and Briscoes Homeware. The Glenfield Night Market was formerly held in the car park on Sunday evenings.

The Kaipātiki Local Board is one of the 21 local boards of Auckland Council, and is one of the two boards overseen by the council's North Shore Ward councillors. It covers Glenfield south to Northcote Point. Its eastern border is the Northern Motorway and its western border is the Waitematā Harbour. The board sits at the Citizen's Advice Bureau in Bentley Ave, Glenfield. AUT's Akoranga Campus is the only tertiary institution in the North Shore ward, and it is in the Kaipātiki board area.

Wairau Valley is a suburb of Auckland, New Zealand. The area is predominantly light industrial/commercial. The Northern Motorway passes to the east, and the Wairau Park shopping complex extends to the north. The valley is drained by the Wairau Creek, which flows on through Milford and discharges into the Hauraki Gulf from an estuary at the northern end of Milford Beach.

Glenfield (called Mayfield until 1912) is a suburb, part of the contiguous Auckland metropolitan area. It is located in the North Shore, north of the Waitemata Harbour, and Auckland is located in New Zealand.

Southern Cross Hospital North Harbour is the only private surgical in-patient hospital on Auckland's North Shore, New Zealand. It is run by Southern Cross Hospitals Limited, part of the Southern Cross Healthcare Group, and was established in 1991. It is on Wairau Road in the suburb of Glenfield. The facility undertakes around 6,000 operations annually.

Takapuna Rugby Football Club is a rugby union club based in Takapuna, New Zealand. The club was established in 1934 and is a member of the North Harbour Rugby Union. Until 1985, Takapuna was a member of the Auckland Rugby Football Union. The club is based at Onewa Domain, which was also home to North Harbour until 1997.

Glenfield North is a suburb located on the North Shore of the Auckland metropolitan area in New Zealand. The suburb is separated from the Auckland Northern Motorway by the Wairau Park Shopping Complex on the east, from Glenfield by Chivalry Road to the south, from Bayview by Glenfield Road to the west, and from Tōtara Vale by Wairau Road to the north.

Smales Farm busway station is a bus station in Westlake, New Zealand, on the Auckland Northern Busway. It opened on 2 February 2008, and is the second-closest busway station to Britomart Transport Centre. It has shelters, electronic real-time information on each platform, a customer service centre and passenger drop off and pick up.It is adjacent to Westlake Girls High School and the Smales Farm Office Park, which houses Sovereign, Air New Zealand and Telstra Clear. North Shore Hospital is not far away. The next station southbound is Akoranga busway station. The next northbound is Sunnynook busway station. Buses travelling via the station include double-decker buses serving the Northern Express NX1 and NX2 routes.

Glenfield Rugby Union and Sports Club Inc. is a sports club based in Glenfield, a suburb of Auckland, New Zealand.

Northcote Central is a suburb of Auckland's North Shore, in northern New Zealand. It is located on the northern shore of the Waitematā Harbour. The Northcote Shopping Centre is anchored by a Countdown supermarket.Tuff Crater, or Tank Farm, is a volcanic crater on the eastern side of the suburb.
