Long Barn, located in the village of Sevenoaks Weald, Kent, is a Grade II* listed building and a Grade II* registered garden. Reputedly the birthplace of William Caxton, the house was later the home of Vita Sackville-West and Harold Nicolson. During their ownership, the house is also notable for famous residents such as Douglas Fairbanks and Charles Lindbergh.

Sevenoaks Weald is a village and civil parish in the Sevenoaks District of Kent, England. The parish is located on the Low Weald, immediately south of Sevenoaks town, with the village of Sevenoaks Weald at its centre. It was formed in 1894 from part of the ancient parish of Sevenoaks. The village was originally named simply Weald. The parish church is dedicated to St George. It was built in 1821 and was provided as a chapel of ease so that parishioners did not have the long climb to St. Nicholas, the parish church of Sevenoaks. Land and funds were given for the chapel and churchyards by the Lambarde family. Architect Thomas Graham Jackson added a chancel in 1871; the funds were provided by the Hodgson family. Weald Methodist Church on the village green opened in 1843; and also in the village is a former Brethren Gospel Hall dating from 1875 and the former St Edward the Confessor's Roman Catholic Church. Long Barn is a property with a historic garden, begun in 1915 by Harold Nicolson and Vita Sackville-West and further developed by Edwin Lutyens in 1925. The nearest train station is Sevenoaks.

Penshurst Airfield was an airfield in operation between 1916–36 and 1940–46. Initially a military airfield, after the First World War it was used as an alternate destination to Croydon Airport, with some civil flying taking place. The airfield closed following the crash of a Flying Flea at an air display in 1936, and was converted to a polo ground. It re-opened during the Second World War as an Emergency Landing Ground, RAF Penshurst. As well as serving in this role, it was mainly used by air observation post (AOP) squadrons of the Royal Air Force. The airfield finally closed in May 1946.

St Luke's is a Grade II* listed Church of England church in Chiddingstone Causeway, Kent. It was built in 1897–1898 to a design by John Francis Bentley in a loosely Decorated Gothic Revival style, replacing a tin tabernacle (erected circa 1873).According to Pevsner the church was financed by the Hill family and John Singer Sargent recommended Bentley to him. It was the only Protestant church designed by Bentley.Since 2019 the church is part of the High Weald Churches benefice of Penshurst, Chiddingstone, Fordcombe and Chiddingstone Causeway. The altar window is the work of Wilfrid de Glehn.

Hubbard's Hill is a 66.6-hectare (165-acre) geological Site of Special Scientific Interest south of Sevenoaks in Kent. It is a Geological Conservation Review site.This Quaternary site exhibits solifluction (erosion by freezing and thawing). The main deposits date to the Wolstonian glaciation around 130,000 years ago, but the latest have radiocarbon dates of only 12,500 years, during the most recent Younger Dryas ice age.The Greensand Way long distance footpath goes through the site.

Chiddingstone Causeway is a village 4 miles (6 km) west of Tonbridge in Kent, England. It is within the Sevenoaks local government district. It is in the civil parish of Chiddingstone. The village is served by Penshurst Station on the Redhill to Tonbridge Line with trains running hourly between London Victoria and Tonbridge via East Croydon. Connections for Gatwick Airport can be made from this service by changing at Redhill. Penshurst Airfield, which was in operation from 1916 to 1936, and again from 1940 to 1946 as RAF Penshurst, was within ¼ mile (400 m) of the station. The village is also served by the 231 and 233 bus routes linking Lingfield, Edenbridge, and Tunbridge Wells via Bidborough The current service contract is run by Metrobus and there is no Sunday or Bank Holiday service.In the centre of the village is 'The Little Brown Jug' public house. St. Luke's church is a Church of England church on the Tonbridge Road, just over a hundred metres east of the pub. There is a war memorial outside St. Luke's church.

Hildenborough railway station is on the South Eastern Main Line in England, serving Hildenborough, Kent, and the surrounding villages. It is located six miles (10 km) south of Sevenoaks town and three miles (5 km) west of Tonbridge. There is a large village green; nearby is Hall Place, once Leigh Hall, occasionally open to the public, built in 1876. The parish church (13th century) is dedicated to St Mary.

West Heath School is an independent school in Sevenoaks, Kent. It caters for children for whom mainstream schooling has become insufficient, for varying reasons. The school's motto is "Rebuilding Lives Through Education." The school, founded in its current form as a charitable trust on 14 September 1998 as the Beth Marie Centre, is based in 31 acres (13 ha) of parkland on lease from Mohamed Al-Fayed, who contributed almost £3 million towards the school. The building formerly housed West Heath Girls' School, a girls' school with around 100 boarding pupils, established in 1865 and closed in 1997.
