Avon Isle Park Pavilion is a 50 feet (15 m) by 70 feet (21 m) sandstone dance pavilion located on Detroit Road, Avon, Ohio. The dance pavilion is housed in a building featuring several French Colonial revival architecture pieces, including a low hip roof and columned porches. Overall, the building is 48 feet (15 m) by 68 feet (21 m) and features a stage and kitchenette. From the 1920s until the 1970s, the venue hosted a variety of civic and social events. It was also available for private events. During the early years, the larger cities nearby; Lorain and Elyria prohibited dancing on Sunday. This allowed Avon Isle to host big-name entertainers like Guy Lombardo. Currently, the building has been renovated and is available for rent by businesses as well as individuals who wish to use the building as a venue for their events at a fee for Avon residents of $150 for the first two hours and an additional $35 for each additional hour and a fee of $200 with a fee of $50 for each additional hour for non-Avon residents.Avon Isle was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2010.

Avon High School is a public high school for grades 9–12 located in Avon, Ohio, United States. Athletic teams are known as the Eagles and play in the Southwestern Conference as of the 2018–2019 school year. The current Avon High School opened in 1998, located on 37 acres of land on Detroit Road. The school is two stories tall and was built for 800 students with room to expand it for 1,600 students.

Mercy Health Stadium is a baseball park in Avon, Ohio, United States. It is the home of the Lake Erie Crushers, a Frontier League team that began play in 2009. The ballpark has a capacity of 5,000 people and opened on June 2, 2009, with the Crushers defeating the Windy City Thunderbolts, 5-2. The ballpark was known as All Pro Freight Stadium until January 2017; Sprenger Stadium until December 2019; and Crushers Stadium in 2020. The team announced in November 2020 that beginning January 1, 2021, the facility will be known as Mercy Health Stadium after a deal was signed with Mercy Health, a Cincinnati-based healthcare provider that operates facilities around the state of Ohio, including two hospitals in the nearby communities of Lorain and Oberlin.

It is owned by Tri-State Educational Systems, Inc. with corporate headquarters located in Middletown, Ohio. Currently, Ohio Business College operates three campuses in Ohio with career education focused around information technology, business administration, allied health, and CDL training.

In addition to associate degrees and certificates, students can earn bachelor's and master's degrees on campus through the college's partnerships with universities.

Ohio Assembly Plant, or "OHAP", is a Ford Motor Company factory located in Avon Lake, Ohio. The 3,700,000 square foot plant sits on 419 acres and opened in 1974 to produce the Ford Econoline/E-Series van. It produced the Mercury Villager and Nissan Quest from 1993 through 2002, and the Ford Escape and Mercury Mariner until 2005. Ford E-Series van production stopped at the end of 2013 as Ford replaced the E-Series with the uni-body Ford Transit, which will be produced at Ford's facility in Kansas City, MO. The cutaway and strip chassis E-Series continues in production here for heavy duty applications. In Spring 2015, production of the Ford F-650 and F-750 began. In the summer of 2016, production of the 2017 F-350, F-450 and F-550 chassis cab began. As of 2017, the plant has over 1,700 employees.In 2017, Ohio Assembly received the coveted Q1 Quality Award for highest build quality off the assembly line.

The Brew Keeper was a brewery in North Ridgeville, Ohio, United States. It opened in 1997 in Bedford Heights, Ohio as a Brew-On-Premises (BOP) brewery, later adding taps and a restaurant after it moved to North Ridgeville, Ohio in 2007. As a microbrewery, the Brew Keeper used the name Mad Brewer to denote their beer sold outside their facility in other drinking establishments and retail outlets. Their beers were mostly high-gravity, some reaching as high as 12% alcohol by volume which is the legal limit for the definition of beer in Ohio (typical beers have around 3% to 8% alcohol by volume). The Brew Keeper closed in 2010 due to financial reasons.

103rd Ohio Volunteer Infantry Association Barracks is a registered historic building in Sheffield Lake, Ohio. It was listed in the National Register on July 14, 1978.The 103rd Ohio Infantry served during the American Civil War. Members of the 103rd Ohio Infantry built and used the barracks to hold reunions after the war.
