American Tradition Partnership (ATP), formerly known as Western Tradition Partnership, is a conservative 501(c)4 advocacy group in the United States targeting what it describes as "environmental extremism." ATP has also initiated litigation targeting campaign finance regulations. It maintains an office in Washington, D.C. The organization's mission statement is a dedication "to fighting environmental extremism and promoting responsible development and management of land, water, and natural resources in the Rocky Mountain West and across the United States." ATP promotes what it describes as voluntary, free-market solutions to environmental problems as the means to protect both the economy and the environment. It works to achieve its organizational goals through lobbying, public education, and grassroots mobilization.The group was first registered as Western Tradition Partnership as a 501(c)(4) in 2008. In 2010, the group spun off a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the Western Tradition Institute, which also did business as the American Tradition Institute. In 2013, the American Tradition Institute changed its name to the Energy & Environment Legal Institute, to reflect its focus on the area of strategic litigation.In 2012 the group was scrutinized in a PBS Frontline documentary, Big Sky, Big Money, which showed that the group was not registered with Montana as a political committee, and illuminated several charges against its activities. After that, the group maintained low visibility until the 2014 election cycle in the state.

George Washington University Art Galleries

The George Washington University Art Galleries, the Luther W. Brady Art Gallery and the Dimock Gallery, are two university-owned and operated art galleries that showcase the University's permanent art collections, as well as visiting exhibitions. In addition, The George Washington University has a myriad of galleries showcasing student work throughout its buildings and academic/support facilities. Collections include painting, sculpture, and photographs, ranging from rare historic pieces to Washingtonia and Americana to modern art. The Dimock Gallery was established in 1966 and relocated and renamed for Susan Dimock Catalini in 2001. The Brady Gallery followed in 2002.

Kinkead's, An American Brasserie was a fine dining restaurant in Washington, D.C. open from 1993 to 2012, named for its chef and owner Bob Kinkead, primarily featuring seafood and New American cuisine.Kinkead's was located at 2000 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, and it quickly became one of the most popular restaurants in DC when it opened in October 1993. It was named one of the "25 best new restaurants in America" by Esquire Magazine. In 1996, the Mobil Guide awarded four stars to Kinkead's, one of only two restaurants in Washington to earn that distinction. In 1995, Bob Kinkead won the James Beard Award for "best American chef" in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Many politicians and celebrities ate at Kinkead's, including President Bill Clinton, Senator Ted Kennedy, and dancer Mikhail Baryshnikov; and many of Washington's best chefs trained there, including Logan Cox, Jeff Black, and Ris Lacoste.In 2005, Bob Kinkead published a cookbook, Kinkead's Cookbook: Recipes From Washington D.C.’s Premier Seafood Restaurant.
