George Washington is a series of outdoor bronze busts depicting George Washington by Avard Fairbanks, located on the George Washington University campus in Washington, D.C.

Sabin Vaccine Institute (Sabin), located in Washington, D.C., is a nonprofit organization promoting global vaccine development, availability, and use. Through its work, Sabin hopes to reduce human suffering by preventing the spread of vaccine-preventable, communicable disease in humans through herd immunity and mitigating the poverty caused by these diseases.

2000 Pennsylvania Avenue, also known as The Shops at 2000 Penn and Red Lion Row, is a shopping center and eight-story office complex located on Pennsylvania Avenue, NW in Washington, D.C. It forms a busy gateway into the main campus of the George Washington University, which owns the property. As the 2000 Block of Eye Street, NW, the houses were named a DC Landmark and added to the National Register of Historic Places, both in 1977.

Additionally, the George Washington University Virginia Campus is located in Ashburn, VA.

This is a list of notable George Washington University faculty, including both current and past faculty at the Washington, D.C. school, as well as university officials. As of 2007, The George Washington University employs approximately 1,130 full-time, in addition to part-time, faculty members across its three campuses. Presidents John Quincy Adams and Ulysses Grant served on the Board of Trustees. Professors have been government officials, leading scientists, and others. Edward Teller, a physicist considered the father of the hydrogen bomb taught at GW. Frank Sesno, a CNN Special Correspondent, currently teaches in that field and, from 2009 to 2020, was the director of the School of Media and Public Affairs. The current President of the University is Thomas LeBlanc.

Trachtenberg School, officially the Trachtenberg School of Public Policy and Public Administration (TSPPPA), is the graduate school of public policy and public administration in the Columbian College of Arts and Sciences of the George Washington University, in Washington, D.C. The Trachtenberg School offers Master of Public Policy, Master of Public Administration, and a PhD in Public Policy and Public Administration.

American Tradition Partnership (ATP), formerly known as Western Tradition Partnership, is a conservative 501(c)4 advocacy group in the United States targeting what it describes as "environmental extremism." ATP has also initiated litigation targeting campaign finance regulations. It maintains an office in Washington, D.C. The organization's mission statement is a dedication "to fighting environmental extremism and promoting responsible development and management of land, water, and natural resources in the Rocky Mountain West and across the United States." ATP promotes what it describes as voluntary, free-market solutions to environmental problems as the means to protect both the economy and the environment. It works to achieve its organizational goals through lobbying, public education, and grassroots mobilization.The group was first registered as Western Tradition Partnership as a 501(c)(4) in 2008. In 2010, the group spun off a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the Western Tradition Institute, which also did business as the American Tradition Institute. In 2013, the American Tradition Institute changed its name to the Energy & Environment Legal Institute, to reflect its focus on the area of strategic litigation.In 2012 the group was scrutinized in a PBS Frontline documentary, Big Sky, Big Money, which showed that the group was not registered with Montana as a political committee, and illuminated several charges against its activities. After that, the group maintained low visibility until the 2014 election cycle in the state.

The Center for Security Policy (CSP) is a US far-right, anti-Muslim, Washington, D.C.-based think tank. The founder and former president of the organization was Frank J. Gaffney Jr (now Executive Chairman). The current president (since January 1, 2023) is Tommy Waller (former US Marine). CSP sometimes operates under its DBA name Secure Freedom.

The College of Professional Studies (CPS) at the George Washington University, established in 2001, offers programs to professional students at the Bachelor's, Master's, and Graduate Certificate level. The Graduate School of Political Management is also housed in the college. The current interim dean is Chris Deering, PhD. CPS is one of the fourteen colleges and schools of the George Washington University.The programs are housed in multiple buildings and centers in the Washington, DC and Virginia area. These facilities in Washington, DC include the Foggy Bottom campus of the George Washington University, space near Capitol Hill, and the Graduate Education Centers in Virginia in Ashburn, Alexandria, Arlington, and Newport News.

The George Washington University School of Nursing (abbreviated as GW Nursing or GWSON) is the professional nursing school of the George Washington University, in Washington, D.C. Founded in 2010, GW Nursing is the newest of the 10 schools and colleges of George Washington University. U.S. News & World Report University Rankings ranks GW Nursing as the 30th best doctoral the 27th best masters programs in nursing in the United States.
