Wokingham Without

Pinewood (formerly Pine Wood) is a rural area of Wokingham Without, near Crowthorne, in the English county of Berkshire, covered by the campus of the Johnson & Johnson Institute, the Pinewood Centre community club and society complex and a small industrial estate. The Pinewood Centre is run by Wokingham Without Parish Council.

The Pinewood Hospital was a hospital in Pinewood, near Crowthorne, England, for the treatment of people suffering from tuberculosis. It was located in a pine wood as pine trees were thought to be beneficial in the treatment of the disease. It opened as the London Open Air Sanatorium in 1901 before becoming the Pinewood Sanatorium. It treated casualties of the First and Second World Wars and after the second, began to treat general thoracic patients as tuberculosis became less prevalent. It closed in 1966.

Holme Green is a hamlet in Berkshire, England, and part of the civil parish of Wokingham Without. The settlement lies surrounded by farmland between Wokingham and Crowthorne, and is located 1.5 miles (2.4 km) south-east of Wokingham.

Nine Mile Ride is a length of the B3430 road in the English county of Berkshire, running from the south of Bracknell to Finchampstead, in the Borough of Wokingham. Despite its name, the road is 6.7 miles (10.8 km) long. The western end is close to the California Country Park in California, Berkshire.

Heath Lake is a 6-hectare (15-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) in Berkshire. The SSSI is part of the 22.3-hectare (55-acre) Heathlake Local Nature Reserve, which is owned and managed by Wokingham District Council.Most of this 2.8-hectare (7-acre) lake is less than 1-metre (3-foot) deep. It is the only acid lake in the county which retains its characteristic plants, such as alternate water-milfoil and six-stamened waterwort. The banks are peaty and marshy in some areas. There are also small areas of woodland, dry heath and acid grassland.There is access from Nine Mile Ride.

Gardeners Green is a hamlet in Berkshire, England, and part of the civil parish of Wokingham Without (where in the 2011 Census the population was included). The settlement lies surrounded by farmland between Wokingham and Crowthorne, and is located 1.5 miles (2.4 km) south-east of Wokingham. At the junction of Honey Hill and Redlake Lane is The Crooked Billet public house. To the east of the hamlet is the ford on Redlake Lane, so named because of the heavy iron staining in the water.

Easthampstead Park is a Victorian mansion in the civil parish of Bracknell in the English county of Berkshire. It is now a conference centre.

Home Farm is a suburb of Bracknell, in Berkshire, England. The settlement lies north of the A3095 road and is approximately 2 miles (3.2 km) south-west of Bracknell town centre. It was developed on the site of a small farm on the edge of Great Hollands, near to the Downshire golf course and King's Academy Easthampstead Park. The estate consists of 330 dwellings, with a number of two, three and four bedroomed terraced houses, together with several blocks of flats. Home Farm was built in the mid-1970s by a private developer, but the project stopped when the developer ran out of money. The site was taken over by Bracknell Council, and the houses used for social housing. Following the 'Right to buy' legislation, about 50% of the homes are now in private ownership. It differs from the rest of Great Hollands in that traffic segregation has not been included in the plan. By road, the housing estate is accessible via Ringmead (the Great Hollands ring road).

Ravenswood is a care village run by Norwood, a Jewish charity supporting children and families with educational needs, in the English county of Berkshire, part of the civil parish of Wokingham Without, adjoining Crowthorne. The settlement was established in 1953 as a self-contained environment for disabled children. The complex is managed by Norwood and funded by the local authority, and is about 1.5 miles (2.4 km) north-west Crowthorne. It stands on the site of Bigshotte Lodge, the home of the Keeper of Bigshotte Rayles, an ancient division of Windsor Forest. It used to be called Hannican's Lodge, after a man called Hankin or Hanykin who was under-keeper in 1607.

King's Academy Easthampstead Park (formerly Easthampstead Park Community School) is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form located in Bracknell, Berkshire, England.The school was opened in 1972 at which time it occupied the mansion that is now Easthampstead Park Conference Centre. Its first Headteacher was Derrick Hurd who had previously been the first Headteacher at John Mason School in Abingdon.It was designated as a Sports College in 2009, and also won The Diana Anti Bullying award. for their work in peer mentoring. Previously a community school administered by Bracknell Forest Council, in November 2022 Easthampstead Park Community School converted to academy status and was renamed King's Academy Easthampstead Park. The school is now sponsored by the King's Group Academies.

Crowthorne is a village and civil parish in the Bracknell Forest district of south-eastern Berkshire, England. It had a population of 7,806 at the 2021 census. Crowthorne is the venue of Wellington College, a large co-educational boarding and day independent school, which opened in 1859, and of Broadmoor Hospital, one of England's three maximum-security psychiatric hospitals, which lies on the eastern edge of the village.
