The Shanghai Expo Mart (Chinese: 上海世博会展中心; pinyin: Shànghǎi shìbóhuì zhǎn zhōngxīn; Shanghainese: Zånhe sypohwe zaen tsonshin), formerly the Africa Joint Pavilion (Chinese: 非洲聯合館), is an exhibition hall near the Huangpu River in Shanghai, China. The hall was originally constructed for Expo 2010 and consists of 21,000 square metres (230,000 sq ft) of indoor area and 3,600 square metres (39,000 sq ft) of outdoor space. The hall underwent renovation after the expo, with renovations finishing in November 2011.

The UK pavilion at Expo 2010, colloquially known as the Seed Cathedral, was a sculpture structure built by a nine-member conglomeration of British business and government resources directed by designer Thomas Heatherwick. It referenced the race to save seeds from round the world in banks, and housed 250,000 plant seeds at the end of 60,000 acrylic rods projecting from the walls of the building. The structure stood where it was built, at a cost of £25 million, in Shanghai for the 2010 World Expo and won the BIE gold award for best pavilion design.The UK Pavilion catered to over 100 public and private sector events, hundreds of VIP and dignitary visits and over seven million general public visitors during the 6 months of Expo. The cathedral has now been dismantled, with some rods donated to schools, some donated to the World Expo Museum and some being auctioned for charity.

The Sweden pavilion at the 2010 Shanghai Expo was situated in Zone C of the Pudong Expo site, surrounded by other Nordic and European country pavilions. The 3000 square-meter pavilion was designed by Swedish architectural firm Sweco according to the Swedish theme of “The Spirit of Innovation”. The total budget for the Swedish pavilion was around 150 million SEK, slightly more than half of which was contributed by the Swedish business sector. Commissioner General for the Swedish pavilion was Annika Rembe. Construction of the Swedish pavilion began on the April 20, 2009 and the pavilion was officially inaugurated on May 1, 2010, the day of the World Expo’s opening.

Houtan (simplified Chinese: 后滩; traditional Chinese: 後灘; pinyin: Hòutān), formerly Pujiang Yaohua Station, is a station on Line 7 of the Shanghai Metro. It opened in April 2010, 3 months later than the rest of the stations on the line. The station is located in Pudong New Area and was one of the stations that was a part of the Expo 2010 zone.

The Dapu Road Tunnel (Chinese: 打浦路隧道), formerly Huangpu River Tunnel or Project 651, is a road tunnel that runs under the Huangpu River in the city of Shanghai, China. It connects Huangpu District on the Puxi side of Shanghai with Pudong New Area. It consists of two tubes, the first of which was constructed between 1965 and 1970 and acted as the first vehicular tunnel underneath the Huangpu River in. The tunnel has two lanes and originally operated with one lane in each direction. Due to the need for greater capacity brought on by Shanghai's Expo 2010, a second tube was built between 2009 and 2010 just to the west of the first, opening on February 11, 2010. When the second tube opened, the first tube was converted for northbound traffic only while the new tube carried southbound traffic. The east, northbound tube is 2.739 km (1.702 mi) in length, while the west, southbound tube is 2.971 km (1.846 mi) long.

Shibo Avenue (Chinese: 世博大道; pinyin: Shìbó Dàdào) is the name of a station on Line 13 of the Shanghai Metro. It served as the eastern terminus of the line until 30 December 2018, when the extension of Line 13 to Zhangjiang Road opened.The station has 3 tracks, one island platform, and one side platform. The inner island platform is not in service. Trains heading to Jinyun Road use the outer island platform, whilst trains towards Zhangjiang Road use the side platform.

The Lupu Bridge (simplified Chinese: 卢浦大桥; traditional Chinese: 盧浦大橋; pinyin: Lúpǔ Dàqiáo), named after Luwan District, is a through arch bridge over the Huangpu River in Shanghai, China, connecting the city's Huangpu and Pudong districts. It is the world's third longest steel arch bridge, after the Ping'nan Third Bridge in Guangxi and the Chaotianmen Bridge in Chongqing. The bridge has a total length including approach spans of 3,900 m (12,795 ft) and opened on June 28, 2003. The main bridge structure is 750m long including the two side spans of 100m each, and the main span of 550 metres (1,804 ft) over the Huangpu River is 32 metres (105 ft) longer than the previous record holder for the longest arch bridge, the New River Gorge Bridge in Fayetteville, West Virginia. It cost 2.5 billion yuan (US$302 million), including US$78.04 for the main steel structure alone. It is located adjacent to the former Expo 2010 site and served as the centrepiece of the world exposition in Shanghai.

The Shanghai State Security Bureau (SSSB; Chinese: 上海市国家安全局) is a municipal bureau of the China's Ministry of State Security (MSS) charged with intelligence operations in the country's most populous city. With tens of thousands of employees, it is one of the most aggressive and internationally active units of the MSS, conducting long-term global foreign espionage operations and major cyberespionage campaigns which stretch far beyond the Shanghai metropolis. The bureau acts in concert with the Shanghai Municipal Party Secrecy Committee, and the two represent themselves publicly as one institution, a front called the Shanghai Secrecy Administration Bureau (SSAB, Chinese: 上海市国家保密局).The Shanghai bureau is one of the most prolific MSS units targeting the United States; it also conducts elaborate operations to target and influence the Buddhist community in Asia. The bureau maintains an "immense business empire" of front companies in property development, international shipping and telecommunications, and operates at least 18 subordinate branch offices, one in every administrative division of the city.The headquarters of the SSSB is 1 Ruining Road in the Xuhui District near the Lupu Bridge. The building is bordered on three sides by water, situated at the confluence of the Huangpu river which bisects the entire city, and the Rihui river which serves as the border between the Xuhui and Huangpu districts. The building is a glass high rise office tower with space for 10,000 employees. It is the largest of several large SSSB facilities in the city.

The Shanghai SK Group Tower (Chinese: 上海SK大厦) is an office skyscraper in the Pudong district of Shanghai, China. Built between 2015 and 2019, the tower stands at 275 m (902 ft) tall with 59 floors and is the current 11th tallest building in Shanghai.

Changqing Road (simplified Chinese: 长清路; traditional Chinese: 長清路; pinyin: Chángqīng Lù) is an interchange station on Lines 7 and 13 of the Shanghai Metro. It opened on 5 December 2009 as a Line 7 station. With the opening of phases two and three of Line 13 on 30 December 2018, it became a virtual interchange station between Lines 7 and 13. Passengers who hold the Shanghai Public Transportation Card and transfer within 30 minutes of exiting the station are able to transfer here to continue their journey. The station is located near the junction of Changqing Road and Yaohua Road, just outside the Shanghai Expo 2010 zone.

Damuqiao Road (simplified Chinese: 大木桥路; traditional Chinese: 大木橋路; pinyin: Dàmùqiáo Lù) is an interchange station between Line 4 and Line 12 of the Shanghai Metro. This station was one of 16 that opened in the third section from (Qufu Road to Qixin Road) of Line 12 on 19 December 2015. Between 31 December 2005 and 29 December 2007, this station served as the western terminus of Line 4 before the remaining section of the loop between here and Lancun Road opened on 29 December 2007.

Shanghai Expo Park (simplified Chinese: 上海世博公园; traditional Chinese: 世博公園; pinyin: Shìbo Gōngyuán; Shanghainese: Sypoh Gonyu) is a park in the district of Pudong within Shanghai. It is situated in Pudong New Area. It is located near the Mercedes-Benz Arena.
