The Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina (Spanish: Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina), also known as Catholic University of Argentina (Spanish: Universidad Católica Argentina (UCA), is a private university in Argentina with campuses in the cities of Buenos Aires, Santa Fe, Rosario, Paraná, Mendoza and Pergamino. The main campus is located in Puerto Madero, a modern neighborhoods of Buenos Aires. It is considered, according to a 2011 study by the Spanish Ministry of Education, as one of the best private universities in Latin America. It is the second university preferred by Argentine employers and the sixth in all Latin America.Its predecessor, the Catholic University of Buenos Aires (1910–1922), was founded by the Argentine episcopate in 1910, but its degrees, in law, were not recognized by the Argentine government, and the institution was closed in 1922.In 1955, Decree 6403 concerning the freedom of education enabled the creation of private universities with the authority to deliver academic qualifications. In 1956, the bishops decided to create the Catholic University of Argentina, formally founded on March 7, 1958.Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio was UCA's Grand Chancellor, by virtue of his office as Archbishop of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina, until his election in 2013 as Pope Francis. When Mario Aurelio Poli was named Archbishop of Buenos Aires by Pope Francis later in 2013, he became, ex officio, Grand Chancellor of the University. In May 2013 Pope Francis named Víctor Manuel Fernández, the University's President (the second-highest administrative rank, after the Grand Chancellor), as titular archbishop of Tiburnia.

ARA Presidente Sarmiento is a museum ship in Argentina, originally built as a training ship for the Argentine Navy and named after Domingo Faustino Sarmiento, the seventh President of Argentina. She is considered to be the last intact cruising training ship from the 1890s.

Torres Mulieris are two skyscraper each with 44 floors, located in the Puerto Madero neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Developed by Creaurban, a unit of the Macri Group, the two residential buildings were completed in 2009, and became the fifth-tallest buildings in Argentina.

The Libertador Building (Edificio Libertador) is a government building in Buenos Aires, Argentina, housing the Ministry of Defense.

Le Parc Puerto Madero is a residential building complex in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The complex comprises three identical skyscraper buildings (Torre del Boulevard, Torre del Parque and Torre del Río) standing at 144 m (472 ft) tall with 43 floors each, completed between 2005 and 2007. The three towers share the thirteenth position in the top of the tallest buildings in Argentina.

The Renoir Towers (Renoir Residences Height) are two residential towers currently under development in the Puerto Madero neighborhood of Buenos Aires, Argentina. The Renoir One Tower is 136 m (446 ft) tall and has 41 floors and, upon completion, The Renoir Two Tower will be 175 m (574 ft) tall and have 51 floors. The complex was actually planned to be the tallest towers in Puerto Madero and Buenos Aires; but in 2007, work began on the Cavia Tower (from the Le Parc Figueroa Alcorta complex), which became the tallest skyscraper in the city upon completion in 2008.DYPSA, the project's developers, modified the height of the Renoir Two building, extending it from 171m to 175 m, making the latter tower the tallest in the city upon its 2011 completion.

Puente de la Mujer (Spanish for "Woman's Bridge"), is a rotating footbridge for Dock 3 of the Puerto Madero commercial district of Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is of the cantilever spar cable-stayed bridge type and is also a swing bridge, but somewhat unusual in its asymmetrical arrangement. It has a single mast with cables suspending a portion of the bridge which rotates 90 degrees in order to allow water traffic to pass. When it swings to allow watercraft passage, the far end comes to a resting point on a stabilizing pylon.

The Alvear Tower is a residential and hotel skyscraper on Azucena Villaflor Avenue, east of Dock Two in the upscale Puerto Madero section of Buenos Aires. The skyscraper is the tallest building in Argentina. A mixed-use development, the 54-story, 70,000 m2 (753,000 sq ft) building includes 175 condominiums totalling 34,000 m2 (366,000 sq ft), as well as a five star hotel. The building's residential floor plans are notable for their variety - ranging from 100 m (330 ft) to 500 m (1,600 ft) - as well as their 3.3 m (11 ft) ceilings.Its development took place on a 7,000 m2 (75,300 sq ft) lot sold by Grupo Chateau (the local builders of the neighboring Château Puerto Madero Residence) for US$35 million to Madrid-based developer Rayet for the construction of the Hotel Único Buenos Aires. Originally scheduled to open at the end of 2010, the Único Hotel project was canceled. Rayet sold the lot to Anglo-Argentine developer, David Sutton, the proprietor of the Alvear Palace Hotel, on 5 March 2010. The Alvear Tower is budgeted at US$130 million; construction started in March 2012 and was completed in 2017.

Torre Château de Puerto Madero is a high-rise residential complex located in the neighborhood of Puerto Madero in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The development began with the 2006 purchase of two, 7,000 m2 (74,000 ft²) lots in the Puerto Madero section by the Château Group, and was originally intended to include two, 48-story residential towers. The group sold the northern lot to the Madrid-based Rayet Group in 2007, however, and instead built the planned second high-rise on Avenida del Libertador (in the Núñez district).Work on the neo-Second Empire architecture building began promptly, and by early 2009, 75% of its 190 units had been sold; among the premier real estate developments in the city, the sale price ranged from US$330 to US$470 per square foot.

The Escuela Técnica Otto Krause is an educational institution located at the intersection of Paseo Colón Avenue and Chile Street, in the San Telmo section of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Named after its founder, the engineer Otto Krause, son of German immigrants, the school was founded in 1897 and is the oldest technological school in the country. The school currently has around 2000 students and operates a six-year programme. The first three years (ciclo básico) provide a technical high-school programme for students who have completed their elementary education. Years four to six (ciclo superior) provide the equivalent of a technical college education in various branches of engineering technology. On completion of their studies here students may go on to university to follow a six-year programme leading to a degree in engineering. The present school building, which was inaugurated on May 24, 1909, was declared a National Monument in 1995.
